This place was located up a hill and was extra hard to get to this week because they are pulling thr road up out the front. Once we got there check in was efficient but matter of fact, lacked any enthusiasm. The place is basic with narrow stairs - challenging with our big suitcases. Shared bathrooms too but no problems...

The Radagerdi Hostel in Patreksfjördur is located a little bit up a hill, so if you have rooms in the right directions you'll have a great view over the Fjord. My room was small but clean and had a private bathroom. The breakfast is ok.

The exterior of the hostel is very shabby and your first impressions are negative. Facilities on the inside are basic but adequate for a one night stay. Our room was small with no views at the rear as it overlooks a very steep rocky slope. At the front of the hotel there are views overlooking the fjord. Breakfast at this...

This was more like a hotel than a hostel for us. The hostel is located on a hill with stunning views. It is close to restaurants and the tourist information centre. The breakfast was delicious and filled us up before a big day tour.

The nights before, we slept in hostels and guesthouse on the road from Reykjavik. Then we finally arrived in sweet Patreksfjordur and his Radagerdi Hostel. Welcomed by two energic and ambitious young people, we felt like at home since the first minutes there. Unfortunately we spent only one night there. The rooms are bright, clean and beautiful. Briefly, highly recommended!!!!!

Very nice hostel, think it is more a hotel with shared bathroom than a hostel. Very clean place, good beds and nicely located. The breakfast is one of the best we had with plenty of choice (fresh bread, salmon, skyr, muesli, cheese, ham, fruit etc etc) and good refill when done. Would definitely recommend!

The breakfast had good variety and was served by a friendly Irish couple. The local swimming pool is 200 metres walk away. Our bedroom was perfect, with evening sunlight. A clean hostel with beautiful fjord views from the sitting and dining rooms. Some health and safety suggestions: the concrete steps near the front door and badly cracked and weather worn,...

Clean rooms, comfy beds, delicious breakfast (included with the price of the room), wifi is accessible in private rooms as well as in public areas, very friendly staff, plenty of information available about the surrounding area. Decently close to Látrabjarg.

We stayed for 3 nights, the second time staying at Ráðagerði and it was really nice. The room was clean, the breakfast was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were both warm and knowledgeable about the area.

Patreksfjordur is a great location from which you have easy access to the puffins on the Latrabjarg hills. The village only has a couple of hotels and Radagerdi is a nice place. The owner is very friendly and breakfast was uncommonly rich with cappuccino option. Consider that this is a big villa remodeled to be a hotel, so some roons...
