The road to the lodge builds up the tempo of the excitement to come. The reception has well informed staff and the rest as as friendly. Food is fresh even on a busy Sunday breakfast though the service can be a bit slow. Tonnes of activities to do and when it's raining you can take your 4x4 on the muddy track yourself.
The rooms are spacious, well maintained. The resort live up to its name of a forest resort with numerous variety of birds to watch, trecks to walk and come back to the bonfire.
Good for groups.

I came here on 11th April 2021 with my family, we had lunch and dinner here, food was so delicious that I can't explain with words, moreover the location is so peaceful, beautifully designed property, 3 swimming pools are here to manage bulk croud also and their hospitality is so courteous and so respectful. My 7 year old kid wants to stay here for good as he is enjoying like anything, as there are lot of activities here to enjoy like horse riding, zip line etc. Mr. RAJNEESH (FnB Manager) has personally gave us so comfort and respect that he was serving himself for us... Thanks a lot Rajneesh to give us a family feel here also...lastly thanks for all the staff for their lovely hospitality.

Quite a nice place to stay for 3-4 nights. Tents are very good except 2 with low height doors. In the tent side there is an inviting pool (open). The walk from the tents to the reception / restaurant is quite pleasant. Jungle trail is must, its quite beautiful and if you can the sunrise from there , its wow. The tariff is quite on a higher side as all activities are separately paid.

We were really exited when we plan to go with our couples to explore a new property with different senerio. But from the time we reached the property the disgusting person we saw every where is likely the GM of hotel Mr. John from the time we checked in the hotel with our family having kids also they restricted our kids to make shout and play games in the property except play zone in which all the games are highly charged with cheap equipments and that's not the end in resturant also they palce many restrictions and they fix time and rules for all the places like in tea hall we had to visit in high tea time only and in open sitting outside restaurant they also having time bound even for clicking photo also and we were surprising that all the things are in presence and consent with Mr. John.

And for the day 1 in evening we ask the hotel about the bonfire outside our room or at any other places they told us it is chargeable and they going to charge Rs.3500 for that and when we ask to play music with our small Bluetooth speaker we asked a extension cord for that they told that it is also charged by Rs.2000. And on the next day when we agree to pay for bonfire and want to play our music with payment of Rs. 5500 for both of them they told that now we don't allow your speaker there and if you want to play you had to pay for the conference hall also and had pay Rs.15000 for that and that moment we lost our patience and but there is no way for us in jungle to book other hotel at that time.

And the most unacceptable thing that the GM of the hotel told to all of our family members including kids also that the Hotel is mine and I had to decide the rules in the hotel that you had to know before booking and they spoil the trip of all members.

We advise every one not to go there the management has not the basic etiquette to run the resort and behave with guests and we wasted our lots of money there and please think many times before go there.

And I request the Hotel that you make a beautiful property inside the jungle in odd location also and you had to be friendly with guests who are coming there and it's our sincere request to you that people like Mr. JOHN had no place in the resort.

We were on a pilgrimage trip through Punjab and stopped at the Kikarlodge for one night . Actually we were scheduled to stay 2 nights but we changed our mind after staying at the very inadequately furnished rooms at the kikar lodge . The concept is good , the property in terms of size and potential , fabulous but the place needs a total overhaul on its facilities .. washrooms were basic , linen was shabby and the upkeep of the place very average .
A word of praise for the chef though !

My trip to this location was solely to relax, eat and enjoy the view at this property. The property is situated in between fields and farms so you need to rely on google maps to reach there, so not much of a problem there. However, the one thing that was a big turn off was the FOOD. Horrible to say the least! Too much salt, no taste and the cost that I paid for 2 meals for 2 people was Rs 4,300 very exhorbitant for such pathetic food. A dhaba restaurant might cook much tastier food. The one thing that everyone looks forward to when staying at the place which is very remote is good food, but that was a big letdown. I am definitely not recommending this place to anyone and won't visit this place again!

In our 4 day trip, amidst Coronavirus all the precautions are taken by the Kikar's team and they didn't leave any stone unturned in providing hospitality services.

Talking especially about the food, Rajneesh and his team's hospitality is fabulous. Thanks

Would like to share my views with u all who planning to go to The kikarlodge , Nurpurbedi for staying or organizing any family function there, I have done my daughter's marriage there recently and am completely overwhelmed by the kind of service and hospitality they've given us.. We stayed there with the groom's family for three days and had 3-4 functions there.. They have ample space and resources to fulfil anykind of requirement.. All the support staff is efficient enough to serve u in the best possible way.. I was very impressed with the involvement of the owner who gave personal attention to each and every thing which happened during the stay, Everything turned out so beautiful , till date we get compliments for the stay, the food which was served, the decoration, the hospitality , No words to thank you Mr.Amarinder for standing upto our expectations and going beyond that to make our daughter's marriage a dream come true like event... you made it a memorable one...Highly recommended..

We celebrated new year eve 2022 at Kikar lodge. Must confess the hospitality was outstanding , food at various restaurants were good. A lot of our demanding requests were met with a smile, we had taken 6 rooms in all and the management was kind enough to upgrade us to a luxury tent.
A special mention to the Flying fox zip line which is remarkable and a never-seen-before experience.
lots of other activities to do to keep yourself busy. Would like to convey our thanks to the management and to Amarindar for planning our special sundowner safari. wish we could have spent some more days in this resort, surprisingly was not heavy on the pocket either.
I would encourage all age groups to try out the resort & DONT MISS THE ZIP LINE :-)

It was a great time at Kikar Lodge, we were a group of 20 persons,Thanks to Hira lalji, who upgraded our rooms to Dream luxury Tents, Which in my opinion should be the first choice for all the travellers who are coming in a group.. separate place with private swimming pool for all the 9 tents, we had unlimited fun with the family.. Only problem was that tents are little far from main area, so room service was slow, But overall a great experience. Nice place for adventure, though weather played a little spoilsport in our trip, but still we were able to enjoy quad-biking.

Food quality was also good but with limited variety.Nice and cooperative staff.
