I have recently stayed here for two nights ,The hotel staffs are very friendly right from the owner/Hotel reception/Restaurant staffs. The hotel is located aside road, with big spacious and neat rooms, The Tea estate(70 Acres ) is beside the hotel which belongs to the hotel, if you want you can ask the hotel staff to take you there ( Morning 6 Am is nice time to visit ) From this hotel 75 Kms (2hrs ) drive to Thalassery muzhappilangad drive-in beach ( you can drive your cars in the beach entry fees is 60 rs), Mahe is 8 kms from Here. Near by hotel you can visit Kottiyoor temple /Dam/Kuruva Island / Banasura Sagar Dam/ lakes -karlad,pookode lake/ you can also cover Kabini Wildlife sanctuary while coming from bangalore & Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary(Wayanad to Coorg route) Room Disadvantages - No mobile network coverage , Poor wifi access inside room, generator was not switched on when the power cut happened other than this the place is nice to stay…

Mist Heaven Hill Resort is away 8-10 km form main town Mananthavady and is situlated aside road not in tea estate. but however when i go through all review before booking this hotel i was under impression that hotel is situated in tea estate but it is not true. it is aside road and only 5-6 rooms are having tea estate view. Rooms are clean and specious . you can have tea estate visit which is owned by resort owner. tea estate is very beautiful and having concrete road to let your vehicle till top of the hill.overall go for your booking.

It's hotel in the middle of tea estates but on a highway. Near to banasira dam ,kuruva deeps and Tirunelli temple we enjoyed food was good fish/parrota excellent. Rooms are neat and new staff were friendly

I ended up here quite randomly one night because it was the only available accommodation that was sort of near me. I arrived in Valat at night, finding out that there is no hotel in this village. The local police men, who were suuuper nice and helpful, gave me a lift from Valat to this amazing hotel. The stay was beyond any expectation and more than satisfying. The hotel property is actually a tea plantation in the middle of the rain forest. The really competent and friendly manager did everything to make my stay as pleasant as possible. He even took me on a walk around the plantation explaining the processes of tea production. The room was amazing, really big and super clean. I overlooked the tea plants and banana trees.
