As a family, we decided to visit the much talked about Athirappilly and Vazhachaal waterfalls in Thrissur district of Kerala. We did our bit of R & D and chose Flora Misty as our place of stay.
To begin with, location is the most beautiful & ideal to enjoy the magic of Athirappilly waterfalls (no resorts / hotels beyond this point). Nothing beats the mesmerising and captivating view of the waterfalls from the restaurant of the hotel.
Our stay at the hotel was a pleasant experience! Clean and well furnished rooms and toilets was a relief and made it feel right at home. Staff was very friendly, responsive and cooperative. They have a beautiful pool which has a great view of the waterfalls. Kids loved it and the experience was amazing.
Restaurant was another aspect that is worth mentioning. The menu is limited as the restaurant serves only for the hotel residents, which is understandable. However, the food served is of utmost quality. Ingredients including vegetables and protein were very fresh and well cooked. Having said that, you might want to give restaurant sufficient heads up should you decide to dine there and ensure that the order is made at least an hour before.
It would have been ideal if the restaurant could have been a bit more vivid in terms of more cuisines and if there was a buffet system.
Overall, the experience was very good and would definitely recommend Flora Misty!

A small but modern and beautiful resort located overlooking the majestic Athirapilly waterfalls. We had a direct view to the waterfalls from our room offering a wonderful experience which is the highlight of this resort. Rooms are very modern and clean. Very friendly staff who go one step further in providing excellent service and a great experience. They offer guided tours to Athirapilly waterfalls ( Tickets included in the resort price). Taxi’s available for a visit to Vazhachal and Charpa waterfalls. Dinning room is located on a platform overlooking the waterfalls. Restaurant staff are very helpful and accommodative of dietary requests and menu options. Buffet is available depending upon the resort’s occupancy. Food is good with a decent spread. Currently they do not have spa facilities or kids activity areas.

We had our 40th wedding anniversary at Flora Misty Falls in 20.10.24. Our experience was amazing. From the balcony one can have a splendid view of the water falls without any kind of obstruction as it was so close from the property. The room, washroom, all other areas were so clean and immaculate . From the moment we stepped in to till we checked out we received every personal attention from the bottom line staff to the Manager Mr. Vinesh. All were utmost courteous, but special mention to Sayus, the kitchen steward for his exemplary service. We have stayed in all resorts with view of water falls and so wanted to try this new one. Though a bit costly we booked panoramic suite. Our first impression about hotel was not good as it’s located at the busiest point( but later understood that it’s the best point!!) and entrance to the hotel was not that appealing but the moment we entered the hotel staffs were at your service all of them was very active smiling and happy to help When we saw the view from restaurant we were happy that we did not make a mistake by booking a room here Then we were taken to our room, 402. The lobby of suite rooms are extraordinarily nice and when we got into our room we felt it worth the money or more than that Bar counter with bar chairs luxurious modern furnishings very pleasant colour themes cozy bed and linen, beautiful wardrobe and clean and nice bathroom with hands grohe fittings But the breathtaking thing was the view of water falls from big balcony which has a lounge char wherein 3 people can lie down and enjoy the beauty of falls and it has a tub with jacuzzi too
Food was so delicious that chef Sagheer took extra care to deliver his best he came to pool to take order for dinner !!!!
Breakfast was also very good Pool is really nice and you can swim and see the falls clearly pool has a small jacuzzi on one end We decided to come back again after few months Check out was an easy process and we were given a gift hamper too Mini bar snacks fruits soft drinks and all were complementary The best property in athirappilly without any doubt I thank all staff for giving a memorable experience

We celebrated our anniversary at this resort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort offers an incredible view of the Athirapally waterfall, making the location truly breathtaking. The room, ambiance, and overall setting were top-notch. Sayooj and Noushad went above and beyond to arrange a perfect candlelight dinner for us, ensuring we felt exceptionally well-treated. Chef Shageer prepared delicious meals, adding to the overall delight of our stay. This has been one of our best choices for a resort with such a stunning natural backdrop.

Flora Misty Falls Athirappilly is an amazing hotel to stay. Hotel with a great ambience, its location is the USP, the falls view from the hotel balcony is mesmerizing. One of the best hotels with a view we stayed. The hotel rooms are wow and the multi cuisine restaurent in the hotel serves authentic food is delicious. The pool facing the waterfall and the scenery around is wowww!!!! The hotel staff is welcoming. Appreciate the services received from Mr Albin, Mr Udeesh and front office, all were amazing! I would recommend this hotel to all who wants to spend some leisure time!

Excellent hotel with mesmerizing view of athirapally waterfalls, hotel has very nice interior and extremely courteous staff. Dinner does not have variety and is expensive however staff is very generous as they sent one of them with us for sightseeing to waterfall and they packed some food for us as we were having an early morning flight. Kudos to them.

We went for two days, all was great. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the fall, we could hear the water thundering all the time. The room was fairly spacious, the staff was excellent, going out of their way for us. Shaji accompanied us to the falls, he was invaluable in helping us with negotiating the rocks, thank you, Shaji. The food was good, too, we shall return.

Stayed in Flora misty falls with my family. Nestled amidst the lush greenery, the resort offers breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The rooms were very clean, spacious and cozy. The balcony offers a breathtaking view of the Athirappilly waterfalls.Waking up to the noise of nature and waterfalls was a great experience. The infinity pool was also clean and well maintained. The food was very tasty. The complimentary high tea and breakfast as well as the dinner were all tasty.The restaurant staffs were very friendly and courteous .
