Riverok Villas is a collection of 7 Villas and a few rooms / dorm that has an enviable location - right on the edge of the river, just down from the famous Athirapally Falls. The staff is friendly and always smiling, the rooms are spacious and while they are basic - are very comfortable and well maintained. This is an ideal place to spend some quiet time with nature and go for a frolick in the clean, sparkling waters of the river that is great value for money. Will definitely recommend to others
Riverok is a nice place close to the Athirappilly waterfalls. The rooms are ok, nothing special but not bad neither. Food is good and service is ok. When we visited (July 2019) the place was still recovering from the floods of the past year: the waterfront was under construction and there were signs of the flood a bit everywhere. Overall a nice place to stay for one night.
Riverok Villas is located near to river (Same from Waterfall), river is easily accessible and one can spend quality time there, complete privacy and awesome experience of stay. Though there were marks of damage by flood, but still it was good stay. Overall recommend to stay.
Had nice stay. Food was good. Best part was the morning breakfast of idly and upma. As we had arrived by evening, we did not do much. Next morning visited the river in the morning. The rear side has direct access to river.

This property is a 15 minute walk from the entrance to the Athirapilly Waterfall. To reach it, we took a bus from Chalakudy private bus stand and got down at Kannankuzhy bus stop, Athirapilly. From the main road, Riverok is a short walk down towards the river. When we went, due to torrential rails, the river was in spate and the police had issued a warning NOT to enter the river. However, Riverok has a private entrance to the river. Riverok has villas (AC and non-AC) facing the river. Obviously the one in the front has the best view!!! Besides these, they also have Double rooms and a dormitory. Affects of monsoon: Yes the room was damp and musty. Outer cover of the bed linen was damp and a pillow cover was mouldy. But what can one expect in the coastal monsoon??? Our wet clothes refused to dry. BUT, the staff was very polite and friendly. The food (room service) was very tasty. There is the constant subdued roar of the river which had a calming effect. We liked the sit-out in the villa with the two easy-chairs and spent the evening there. The room had continuous hot water in the Geyser. Bathroom was very clean and all fittings were functional. The bedroom was tastefully decorated. Overall, the room was pricey (as can be expected in a tourist zone), but the location was great.…
Location of this place is very nice. River stream flows behind the hotel, can spend some good time there. Food and service is excellent Rooms are neat and clean Worth staying here Very close to main falls
Its an Average Room , we Stayed only for Half day due to connecting train. Location is Good, We can access Athirampally Falls River from the resort itself, So we can take bath in the Nature River from the Resort itself, Ambiance is very nice, each room with Grass lawn . Open Nature space in front of Each room which will add more cozy environment. But it required lot of improvement in hospitality, We got a Colored Towel (I never saw such a towel, usually we used to get white one). Room is not pre loaded with Soap , bath room tissue before check In. So each and every time we need to ask reception . WIFI only on Lobby and that too on request. its not available always. we need to ask them. Overall, its good to stay like Nominal, But Don't expect Much .
Let me get to the point quickly. We were 8 adults and 2 children. We took 2 deluxe cottages and a single cottage. Fine. Location nearer to falls: great, you can even take a walk to the falls. Staff: courteous and fast. Food : lovely breakfast, nice value for money dinner. Special requests: taken care. The back side garden and river view is good. I like the place very much and hence taking liberty to offer the following suggestions Now, just do the following to make your place just great. Remove all bed linens and sheets, towels and get it replaced with new ones and please ensure it is washed after every use. Get the rooms thoroughly vacuumed and bathrooms cleaned and perfumed. Please change the health faucet. Get a drier if washing and drying your linen is a challenge in monsoon times. Get a good quality screen that separates bedroom from sitting area in deluxe cottages. Breakfast area- clean up and keep it tidy. On the whole just one aspect, house keeping needs all the attention. …
I had been to Riverok Villa yesterday with my family and stayed there just for a day..not in the villa type of accommodation but in a Non-AC room..as all the other types were already full. Owner was helpful.. he gave us a room to stay..Food was simple and good. Food was tasty but minimal choices. breakfast was also good. Some keypoints I would like to mention here is that this can be your choice if you want 1) a simple stay away from home 2) river experience away from the crowd.. (early mornings to evening 7pm) 3) to enjoy scenic beauty When you go to Athirapally, kindly do not go in summer.. carry enough food with you if you have kids as there is no good restaurants nearby. Nothing to do after 7pm..except watching TV. Go with clothes and towel if you want to get into the water..there is changing room at the falls..best getaway for youngsters..…
