We had the best experience we could ever imagine. First and foremost the river view was breathtaking couldn’t get enough of it. The staff and everyone are so welcoming and tend to our every need. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean. The food was delicious and well served. Me and my family had a great time and lovely stay and we are definitely coming back and would recommend it to everyone.

A beautiful place to enjoy your holidays away from hectic city life. Their rooms are quite spacious and a wooden wardrobe, with mirror, bathrooms were neat with modern amenities and a big "L" shaped sofa facing the balcony with French sliding door and all the rooms are equipped with balcony facing the river, sometimes wild elephants come in the early hours of the day (During our stay, we missed it, because we were sleeping) they have in housed kitchen to carter to their guests. Their morning breakfast was very tasty traditional Kerala cuisine like Appam, Puttu, Idiyappam with Kadala Curry or Egg Curry and their hospitality is good but we had a small hiccup. Our check in date was on 15th April, 2022, which happened to be “Vishu” day (Malayalam New Year day) so we couldn’t find restaurants open anywhere on our way from Chalakudy (Nearby small town) to River Resort. We reached around 2 PM and they couldn’t provide us lunch or anything to eat, as we didn’t inform them prior to our arrival at the resort. So we had to approach the “The Anchorage” resort, which is just adjacent to River Resorts and requested if they could arrange any food. Their Manager Mr Albi, was so helpful and with 30 minutes he arranged food for us (7 persons).…

This is a small property situated at the Chalakudy River Bank. Every room has a sit out with river view and the sound of the river water at night is soul healing. Guest can have their private river bath time which is safe and enjoyable. Rooms where really neat and big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids to stay. Mr.Tony was very helpful. I would definitely add this property to my “Going Back” list for sure. Food is average but it’s a must visit place.

The resort is located very closer to the Chalakkudy river with extreme comforts, its little away from the highway and its approx 15 km from athirapally waterfalls. View from the room was spectacular, cleanliness of the room was excellent, and the staffs is also very friendly, Food and customer services are very good. The office people were very kind during their service. I would suggest that it would be a very good option for family stay. The river location is very closer to the room and it will be a suitable place for enjoying with family you can actually walk down to the river and spend time. Food quality was very good and they served in time though the breakfast spread is a little limited one can also request for any specific dish and they will happily provide.For nature lovers it would be a perfect choice to spend their time. We enjoyed a lot during our stay. I would recommend this resort for everyone who wants to enjoy the nature with their family.…

This place is located a little away from the highway but a well placed board guides you there. Mr. Nitin at the front desk completed our check in formalities in a jiffy though we reached there an hour before normal check in time. The rooms were a pleasure to stay in. River facing and well ventilated with all necessary amenities. The washroom was clean and well maintained. Though the break fast spread is a little limited, they more than make up for it with the dinner spread. One can also request for any specific dish and they will happily provide. You can actually walk down to the river and spend a whole day just lying in the water as it flows by. Mr. Trevor the General Manager is always around to help out in case of any assistance required. It will be advisable to have ones own transport to move around the area but the resort can also organize one on request. All in all one of the best holidays we had in a long long time. Our special thanks to Trevor, Nitin and the rest of the always smiling and ready to assist staff.…

The Management gave us the best of their service. The rooms are luxurious, clean & well maintained with good amenities. The scenic beauty was at its best. Great ambience for a Nature Lover. The Tantalizing Aroma & the Glimmer in the honeymoon suite & the view of the river from the balcony was soothing & bought us the spark in cherishing the best moments of our married life. The candle light dinner by the side of the river was truely mesmerising. The dinner was of great taste with 10 varieties. The arrangement was done perfectly. The staff is very polite & generous. The breakfast was served really well. Special Thanks to Mr Trevor & Nitin for all the arrangements & surprise. Our stay at Athirappilly River Resort is much more special & memorable than our international stays (Mauritius - Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette resort & spa) We would definitely recommend this hotel to all the couples to have a romantic & memorable stay.…

Pro's - 5/5 for location, views and privacy You will have direct access to the river and can spend long time at bank enjoying views. Con's - Black mold on the wall when we stayed in room 202 Intercom not working and inspite of complaining not taken care. Each small thing I had to go down and ask like towels, pillow, breakfast time etc. Food is super expensive small portion of curry was 220 and no items in breakfast just idly, boiled egg and omlet when requested.

The resort is at very gud location approx 13 km from athirapilly waterfalls. View from the room was spectacular, very neat and clean rooms and the staffs very friendly and welcoming. The food was great and reasonable for the price. Wash room was neatly maintained and hot & cold water was available. BBQ facility is available. Over all a must place to stay.

A good time pass with river view.. but not during summers... Car parking space is less for a huge crowd. No lift and only warm water is available for showers...Friendly staffs and good keralite food...

The resort assistant manager Mr Shafeek and Francis have helped a lot to find out the location. The office people were very kind during their service. I would suggest that it would be a very good option for family stay. The river location is very closer to the room and it will be a suitable place for enjoying with family.
