Kairos is an aesthetically designed luxury resort with three elegant villas and 15 tastefully furnished rooms, privileged with a rare, graceful view of the hill valley in a 3.5 acre farm with at least a couple of hundreds of trees and rare plants - most of them flowering and fruit bearing. Kairos is the perfect holiday haven for a group of 50 to 70 persons. Of course, we also welcome smaller families and teams as well.

We booked 2 premium rooms for a night as we travelled as 2 families with kids. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The property is surrounded by lush greenery and papaya plantations. The view from the balcony wasn't anything worth the extra buck.

The manager Mr.Sathish was very helpful throughout the booking, check-in and check-out processes. The lunch/dinner menu was limited and was standard average fare.
We relished the breakfast spread though. The housekeeping staff albeit few in number, were very helpful, prompt and responsive.

Mobile signal in the property is a bit patchy but not a huge concern. It would serve the guests well if the resort considers adding wi-fi to the list of amenities offered given the tariff charged.

The approach road within the resort needs to be fixed soon as it takes a toll on vehicles to drive on rocks every time we head out. The plan is to get it patched up after Diwali as per the management.

The stay was very comfortable throughout and we were very well taken care of. We would highly recommend this resort as a choice for lodging when in Yelagiri.

Upon arrival, we were greeted with a warm smile. The staff at reception(Mr. Shaktivel) was very friendly and could sense our preferences without asking for.

We were allotted a garden villa. The rooms were so clean, well maintained, and hygienic that we did not feel any doubt about the pandemic problem(in fact I was very concerned about it as we are a joint family, and all might be in trouble).

As far as food is concerned, I had the same fear of covid. But Mr. Deepak went out of his way and helped us in feeling comfortable by explaining the covid hygienic practices followed by TGI employees. The food was delicious and felt like homemade.

As a family, we all felt safe(as this is our first outing in the past 2 years) and comfortable. Special thanks to Mr.Sathish who made us feel that our stay with TGI is a home away from home, in every aspect of cleanliness and comfort.

The whole family is very happy and if there is no third wave we will be visiting again in November.

We went for a marriage at Vellore on 11th Nov and decided to visit Yelagiri for a couple of days. Booked an accommodation online. When we reached the place, we were annoyed to see maintenance work going there. Cancelled the booking and landed at TGI Kairos in the evening. Happily welcomed by the Manager, we were in for a pleasant surprise. The superior room was just perfect. We were allotted a room in the first floor which has an additional feature of a balcony. The entire campus is maintained beautifully with so much greenary. All the meals were served directly at the room abiding with SOP during the pandemic of Corona. The food was good and doesn't bite your pocket. We enjoyed the premises very much during our stay. Would highly recommend.

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights over the weekend.
Rooms are spacious and OK. Bathrooms were clean. There were lot of ants and bugs, but it is due to the trees around (no complaints, its natural).
Since they are charging the price equivalent to a 3-start hotel, they should have better service and better amenities. Everyone is just doing what is defined and not taking initiate to have a better guest experience.

Cons:
1. Location of the resort is very far from the centre for yelagiri. Roads leading to the resort are very dark in the nights with no street lights. It will not be accessible if you do not have a car or bike of your own.
2. The road to enter resort is very damaged and definitely will damage your car.
3. Breakfast menu is repeating with Idly, Dosa, vada and another dish like Pongal/Parantha. No boiled eggs
4. No wifi and no landline phone to call the reception. Most cellphone lines doesn't have range, so its hard to contact frontdesk.
5. No campfire was arranged even during the winter season weekend.
6. No proper management for car parking.
7. During our stay the electricity went off and it was not back for 6 hours. Since the temp was chill - it was OK. but other times of the year it would have been worse.

Pros:
1. Staffs are OK. Sakthivel and Satheesh and other housekeeping members were nice.
2. The resort building is new and good to click pictures with the serial lights they kept. They can add more services and make that as an amazing hotel.
3. There is a playarea for kids but it is far away from the rooms.

Finally, for the same price or a few more hundreds you can get a better place at the centre of the yelagiri town which can save fuel and time (and more amenities if you are lucky).

My wife and I had an awesome time at Yelagiri for 3 days in Jul 2021 and our stay at TGI was icing on the cake and the best part.... The place is not in the town and it's very secluded and ideal for couples.. surrounded by full of greenery.. It was during the week.. so, less crowded.. The room where we stayed was compact enough for both of us .. The staffs were very courteous and accommodative of our requests for food and were aware of the covid protocols... Mr. Sathish, Manager and Mr. Thamizh (chef) were just awesome and they patiently explained whatever we asked about the place and the attractions nearby.. If you want to have a quiet, leisure time and want to take a complete detox and blend with nature.. go for this.. You would luv it.. Definitely looking forward to visit this place again.. Thank You very much !!!

Let me start with positives:
1. Beautiful location away from the noisy part of Yelagiri
2. Polite staff including the resort manager Mr. Mani.

Now some unpleasant experiences:
1. The main gate of the resort was flooded due to heavy rains and our vehicles could not enter the resort. All of us including kids had to walk in rain to our rooms. The resort staff helped us but we all got drenched. But the most disappointing part was that the entrance was not repaired even on the next day when there was no rain. We had to park our car outside and walk through the mud every time we went out.

2. There was no electricity for entire two days. The generator was turned on but to save cost, it was turned off every night after 12 and we had to stay in a completely dark room with totally dark surrounding. Even to use the restrooms at night we had to use our mobile flash lights. Kids were so scared that I had to call Mr Mani at 3:00 am to request and get the generator started. I understand the expense of keeping the generator on full time but imagine sleeping in a room in an isolated place without any electricity. Even the mosquito repellent provided at the room was non functional after 12 at night.

The breakfast was not exceptional but was ok. Room service was good.

Found this place through Trip advisor and based on the reviews.selected TGI Kairos as the place to spend the long Diwali weekend. This was our first trip post covid and we were both excited and worried. When we reached the place all our doubts vanished. The location of the resort is awesome. It is a little away from the town and its noise and pollution. The cottages have enough privacy and space to enjoy our stay. The food is brought to the room in packed containers to ensure safety. We enjoyed our 2 days stay by just taking walks around the beautiful open paddy fields and enjoying the weather. The food was good and added to the overall experience.

The place was extremely beautiful and we had a really great stay. The villa was very well kept and clean. The support staff was really helpful and prompt with their service. A group of friends going to stay in a villa would be most economical as it would cost lesser to have the entire villa. The food was also excellent and the chef did a great job at making tasty food :) A Special thanks to GM Sathish who was the Go to person for all our queries, very helpful and courteous and also our thanks to Sasi and Kishore and Chef Tamilarasan and Team Kairos!

Its away from the Yelagiri town. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The location also is very green and eco friendly. The main downfall is the FOOD. No options are given, except a very limited menu and it is very difficult to get anything nearby. For the price, it would be worth if they had a better equipped kitchen.

I had booked 2 Premier rooms, for my parents and aunts, and they were offered the villa (which was not available during the booking). Though that was a welcome change, the minimalistic food options for elderly people who just wanted a relaxing weekend gathering.

The property has good green cover. You can have a leisure walk around the property and enjoy the green view of fruit bearing trees planted around. It had a tennis court and indoor game area. For kids they have a small outdoor play area . The staff included a lot of locals and were very courteous and helpful.
We stayed in the Garden villa which was quite spacious with 3 bedrooms, hall, dining and a kitchen area, and was enough for a large family.
Food options were limited but were adequate for us, since we only cared to enjoy the property for its serene locale. Cell phone reception was also limited at places.
At the time of checkout we were not provided proper bills. Even after calling them few times they never sent us the proper bill. The management can sure work on their flaws.
