The stay in Lakkadi resort was awesome . Amazing location. ( a bit difficult to bring the car since its very steep and slippery during rain ) Good rooms and staff . The room is huge and very quit and peaceful .
Lakkidid village resort is located amidst a lush green location surrounded by hills, mountains, streams, and forests- a total tryst with nature. The villas are spacious and clean with their own individual sitting rooms and balcony/sit outs.

Its situated amidst plantation and hills. Its a bit cramped in terms of area and has a very small swimming pool. Food quality leaves a lot to be desired. Breakfast is ok but dinner buffet (no a-la-carte) is not good, specifically vegetarian options.

July month is considered as monsoon months, from June to September wayanad gets heavy rainfall. I collected few data from web about month of July is During Jul month, day temperature raise upto 28 C° and night temperature goes down upto 20 C°. Jul month is one of the blustery months in Wayanad. Consistent with past year record, there is 9.48cm downpour fall each year throughout Jul month in Wayanad. But as far i know kerala is more beautiful in monsoon season. I can suggest before planning you must collect info of pros and cons of monsoon travelling.
During monsoon you can find all the waterfalls at their best view,
Lakkidi village resort is very nicely located and is very near to the attraction 's. number 1: lakkidi view point, which is around 2 km from the resort, number 2: phookot lake is around 3-4 km from the resort, banasura sagar dam is 26-30 km based on Google map, sochipara waterfalls meenmuthi waterfalls edukkal caves all are not very far from the resort. I can't give you exact km details as we could not visit so many attraction for the time constraint. One more thing Kozhikode beach is also not far it is about 60 km from lakkidi village resort. Wayanad is not very big place so you can stay whatever resort you chose. As per my experience i can say lakkidi village resort is itself very beautiful place to stay. Last but not the least you can see vast beautiful tea gardens and lush greenery with wildlife if you are lucky enough. I hope my advice will help you. thanks in advance
