We stayed at the hotel for a day. The staff (Prashant) was very helpful in planning the trip. The rooms are good, AC/geyser works very well. Staff is also very responsive. The Mandir is a short walk from the hotel and rickshaws are easily available. Overall a good place to stay.

The only hotel in Pandharpur with some space for parking of vehicles! The rooms are large and comfortable;though the up-keep could be improved. Some of the glass panes are broken. The restaurant is really very good, though the prices are rather high for a place like Pandharpur. It seems to be patronised only by the hotel guests.
Budget hotel and have no hesitation to stay again if opportunity arises.

The hotel is close to the Mandir but not close enough. Takes around 15 minutes to walk to the temple from here.
The rooms are clean and huge, but not great.
The bathroom was ok.
Overall it is livable for a night.

Restaurant is good. We had breakfast as well as dinner there. They serve good food.
Tea is recommended and so is Idli-Sambar for breakfast.

Pandharpur is a relatively small place with less hotel rooms inventory. I have checked out most of the hotels. Hotel Aishwarya definitely is the best in terms of location ,rooms and ambience. Excellent room with neat bathroom. I was amazed to see such a good hotel at Pandharpur Staff was very cooperative and helpful.

Highly recommend this hotel

Before I begin, let me set the context of this review. Pandharpur is a small town with very limited amenities a pilgrimage site (and by no means a hi-fi vacation spot). Things can get very different if you reach there in a peak season (where the limits of infrastructure, people and their courtesies can be tested severely)

There are only two good options that you can find over the web (Vittal Inn and Hotel Aishwarya) We (a family of 8 adults and 2 children) stayed at hotel aishwarya.

1. Location of the hotel
The hotel is located about 1 km to the back entrance of the Vitthal Mandir. Autos ply people from here to the temple for about Rs 10 per person (no charges for children) There are plenty of autos so commute will never be an issue.
The return fare to the bathing ghat of chandrabagha was Rs 150 people in an auto

2. Hotel and its rooms
I had made reservations over the phone (no advance paid) for 3 standard rooms. And finally ended up taking 2 standard A/c rooms and 1 Suite
The rooms are of decent size to accomodate 3 people comfortable (they allow upto 4 people to stay at no extra cost)
Western closets are available only at the standard rooms on the 1st floor. The ones at the second floor (where we had stayed) only had indian closet at the toilet.

The rooms were clean when we checked-in, the towels were good too. We asked for additional towels and they were delivered promptly to our room.

There are 4 suites and they all have western closets. - The strange thing here is they cost twice as much as the standard room (Rs 2000 per room) but they only allow two people per room, additional pax will be charged extra so i am not sure if it makes sense to get a suite.
We found it useful since that extra space allowed us to have our dinner in the rooms without having to manouver the luggages

3. Restaurant & Food
Most important thing in my view, especially if you are so away from your place with very little options available outside within the town.
All the time we had the food, the quality was very good, and it tasted just like home.
The Chappathi and Dhall are their best bet. They make it really fast and serve it really hot. We ordered a variety of dishes including north, south and all of them tasted very good (Tandoor items do take much longer, so please be prepared to wait if you order the items) It might be wise to check with the restaurant staff about the timing before you place the order. But no questions about the taste of food
Only south indian (Idly, dosa, vada etc) were available for breakfast, However when we requested them to pack chappathi for lunch, the staff accepted the requested and got us packed lunch. And i must say once again the quality of the food was very good even after 4 hours of packing.

4. Staff
Almost all staff were friendly and helping, courteous. I dont believe any of us (or the other guests at the hotel) had any problem with the behaviour of the staff member)

Overall a very good experience and i think we got much more than what we had bargained for the place

Stayed here for a night in a so called suit room. The room was just OK , but the bathrooms were just horrible .
The rate charged by them is very high .
Though the property is good but poor maintenance takes everything away.
Only good thing about the hotel is their food.

We, wife and myself reached Pandharpur by Train in the evening on 17/09/12 with a hope that the A/C room booked a week back by us over telephone in Aishwarya Hotel would be reserved for our one night stay without any problem. However, on reaching the hotel , they offered us only non.A/C room and denied having said of any such confirmation earlier to us. We felt being cheated . They show no sign of any regret while giving their apathetic reply to us. I had no other option but to accept reluctantly non A/C room offered in the ground floor.. The charge for the room is Rs.1000/- for 24 hours stay. The room gives a worn out look and all stuff such as the chair, 14 inch. TV wooden cupboard , screen fabric , bed pillows etc. are appearing like junk items & look unclean .. As there is no window for cross ventilation and fresh air , we felt very stuffy inside the room.. The Bath room, too, gives a tainted appearance & unpleasant feeling while entering Further cleaning and replacement of floor/ wall tiles , Sanitation fixture like W.C & wash basin, etc. are very much necessary. .. There is a Restaurant , without A/C, attached to the hotel. The vegetarian break fast severed is very tasty and in my opinion the menu rates are as high as in urban hotels The hotel provide mosquitoes repellents device to overcome the fly bites in the room... We had to put up with such inconvenience when we are in desperate in need of accommodation. The A/C suit which is available in small number in the hotel , may be better than the one where we stayed in. Car parking facility is available but the place is not kept clean and emit unpleasant odor Overall just an average kind of experience to be had in times of desperate need. The main advantage of staying in the hotel is that it is on the main road which lead direct to the Vithala Temple, reachable in 10 minutes on foot.

As for Vithala temple “ Darshan” Mobiles and cameras are strictly prohibited within the temple premises. Even ladies are not permitted to carry their bag. On way to the Sanctum Sanctorum the priest there will intercept you , offering various kind pooja. You have to ignore everything. You are allowed few seconds to lay your head at the Lord’s feet but the security there will .push you aside to move fast and sometime put his arm around your waist to drive you out from the row to your dismay . It is a disgusting sight and very much condemnable .Every one visiting the temple talks and make hue and cry of it but no action has been taken by the temple authorities. . There is a temple called iskcon on the other side of a river where participating the evening “Arthi” is worth.

This is an ok hotel in Pandharpur. As the town is a small place with not many options, this is one of the good accomodation options available. Nothing great though, but considering the location, this is an ok place to put up when you visit Pandharpur.

We stayed in this hotel recently on our trip to Pandharpur and Tuljapur. Room can be reserved over phone and the check-in was smooth. Stay is comfortable with attached restaurant serving good vegetarian cuisine. Service was very good. Even a local autowallah recommended this restaurant to be "the best" in Pandharpur. Temple is closeby with lot of autos available. Hotel has secured parking for vehicles which is good. Rooms are ok with fresh linen. Found rooms little dusty which could be cleared and buckets/mugs in the bath looking very old - hotel should take to replace them once-in-a-while.
Otherwise good hotel for a night's stay to visit Pandarinath temple.

We had been on a religious trip to Pandharpur and had to find a place to stay overnight after a long journey. We got to know about this hotel. We were offered a suite which was decent and clean. It was spacious and tidy place one can expect here.

But I would like to mention that I had cook maggie for my 3 yr old daughter. On checking with the waiter if they could prepare it for us he allowed me to cook in the kitchen of the restaurant. To my surprise the kitchen was spic and span and not a single of drop or particle of food or liquid was found on the kitchen platform. The owner himself was present in the kitchen to assist me in case I needed anything. I would seriously not have asked for anything more. Moreover the food was very good and staff was helpful.

It would surely my choice for the next time if we go again.
