Budget hotel and have no hesitation to stay again if opportunity arises.

The rooms are clean and huge, but not great.
The bathroom was ok.
Overall it is livable for a night.
Restaurant is good. We had breakfast as well as dinner there. They serve good food.
Tea is recommended and so is Idli-Sambar for breakfast.
Highly recommend this hotel
There are only two good options that you can find over the web (Vittal Inn and Hotel Aishwarya) We (a family of 8 adults and 2 children) stayed at hotel aishwarya.
1. Location of the hotel
The hotel is located about 1 km to the back entrance of the Vitthal Mandir. Autos ply people from here to the temple for about Rs 10 per person (no charges for children) There are plenty of autos so commute will never be an issue.
The return fare to the bathing ghat of chandrabagha was Rs 150 people in an auto
2. Hotel and its rooms
I had made reservations over the phone (no advance paid) for 3 standard rooms. And finally ended up taking 2 standard A/c rooms and 1 Suite
The rooms are of decent size to accomodate 3 people comfortable (they allow upto 4 people to stay at no extra cost)
Western closets are available only at the standard rooms on the 1st floor. The ones at the second floor (where we had stayed) only had indian closet at the toilet.
The rooms were clean when we checked-in, the towels were good too. We asked for additional towels and they were delivered promptly to our room.
There are 4 suites and they all have western closets. - The strange thing here is they cost twice as much as the standard room (Rs 2000 per room) but they only allow two people per room, additional pax will be charged extra so i am not sure if it makes sense to get a suite.
We found it useful since that extra space allowed us to have our dinner in the rooms without having to manouver the luggages
3. Restaurant & Food
Most important thing in my view, especially if you are so away from your place with very little options available outside within the town.
All the time we had the food, the quality was very good, and it tasted just like home.
The Chappathi and Dhall are their best bet. They make it really fast and serve it really hot. We ordered a variety of dishes including north, south and all of them tasted very good (Tandoor items do take much longer, so please be prepared to wait if you order the items) It might be wise to check with the restaurant staff about the timing before you place the order. But no questions about the taste of food
Only south indian (Idly, dosa, vada etc) were available for breakfast, However when we requested them to pack chappathi for lunch, the staff accepted the requested and got us packed lunch. And i must say once again the quality of the food was very good even after 4 hours of packing.
4. Staff
Almost all staff were friendly and helping, courteous. I dont believe any of us (or the other guests at the hotel) had any problem with the behaviour of the staff member)
Overall a very good experience and i think we got much more than what we had bargained for the place
The rate charged by them is very high .
Though the property is good but poor maintenance takes everything away.
Only good thing about the hotel is their food.

As for Vithala temple “ Darshan” Mobiles and cameras are strictly prohibited within the temple premises. Even ladies are not permitted to carry their bag. On way to the Sanctum Sanctorum the priest there will intercept you , offering various kind pooja. You have to ignore everything. You are allowed few seconds to lay your head at the Lord’s feet but the security there will .push you aside to move fast and sometime put his arm around your waist to drive you out from the row to your dismay . It is a disgusting sight and very much condemnable .Every one visiting the temple talks and make hue and cry of it but no action has been taken by the temple authorities. . There is a temple called iskcon on the other side of a river where participating the evening “Arthi” is worth.
Otherwise good hotel for a night's stay to visit Pandarinath temple.
But I would like to mention that I had cook maggie for my 3 yr old daughter. On checking with the waiter if they could prepare it for us he allowed me to cook in the kitchen of the restaurant. To my surprise the kitchen was spic and span and not a single of drop or particle of food or liquid was found on the kitchen platform. The owner himself was present in the kitchen to assist me in case I needed anything. I would seriously not have asked for anything more. Moreover the food was very good and staff was helpful.
It would surely my choice for the next time if we go again.
"Opt for the AC rooms as they are new. One can do online booking for the hotel on some of the travel sites."Read full review
