The location is awesome. The stay was peaceful and cosy. Rooms were big enough and clean. Ambiance is great and worth to visit again. Even the authentic breakfast was mouth melting. Recommend to visit. Review by Seema Suhas Sawant
We booked 3 rooms in Maitreya Beach Resort through online search. This is simple property but very much neat and clean. Rooms are specious, airy and equipped with basic amenities. Bathrooms are clean with availability of soap, shampoo etc. Service is very good. They have restaurant on ground floor which provides good veg, non veg and seafood dishes. Although the food menu is limited, but the quality of food is very nice. Their kitchen is near to staircase towards rooms and we can see excellent cleanliness mainteined by them. 'Solkadhi' is top class. There are other food joints available near resort also. Staff is very courteous and always available for help with smile. Only one issue you may face I.e Parking.. They have parking in rectangle shape and sometimes we need to remove and park car again. However, they cooperate customers in this. Cost of rooms and food was reasonable. Beach is just 6 min walking and 2 min by car. Subodh and team is managing this property in very efficient way. Overall it was very pleasant experience with Maitreya. Will surely visit again. …
It was good experience in Maitreya beach resort. Staff is very good, location is also good, just 10 min walking to the beach. Need improvement for parking. Parking is very congested. Food is tasty. Must try fish and “Solkadhi”.
we direclty booked with mr. subhod he os very nice man.. all hotel staff was very co operative we travelled with 01 infant.. we request for baby meal they managed and allow my sister in laws to cook for baby food.. solkadi was supappppp.. modak was fantastic... love to stay..
Rooms were cleaned but small. Also, fan regulator was not working properly, voltage fluctuations. Food was tasty. Service was good. Need more space for parking. Beach is nearby 5-7 mins walking distance. Overall value for money.
I have managed my corporate team picnic in diveagar with 30 people and choose this resort to stay, I was unaware of the resort facilities and other things, but just reading reviews posted by other people I choose this place for 1 night stay. Service: It's very best, staff and owner are so friendly. specially Payal ma'am. Rooms : are clean and well managed for stay of 3/4 people in a room. Specially, no hidden charges applicable. ask for Modak in package which is very tasty. Behind the resort there is a big garden to enjoy bonfire and group dance activity. they are allowing personal speakers also. just 200-300 meter connected to beach directly from the resort. Security of tourist is highly maintained by the owner. Overall amenities, service, location, food everything was not good, it's best.…
First Diveagar is a calm place with clean beach with water sports activities Maitreya Beach Resort is a classic beachfront resort Stay only in Royal Huts it'a a one side in resort so it's calm Opp of swimming pool . Food are testy. it's a budget-friendly huts with basic amenities. Swimming pool are clean. Owner and receptionist Ms. Payal are supportive. Not much indoor games.
Staff behaviour not good. Extra charges taken. We were checked out within 14 hrs and charges taken for 36 hrs. When we asked for extra charges, receptionist communicated rudely. Dont book. Another *Bestest* options are available in diveagar.
Very bad experience with the staff, no proper communication with the customers. Owner personally given discount but Receptionist not accepted discounted payment and fight with us. Don't book there is many options for hotels in same place
This was my second time visit to Mitreya and the first with family. Location and Ambience is great, but cannot say the same about the cottage. Its average and definitely overpriced. Paid around 5K for the cottage for 3 people for a night, which included my 12 year old kid. Most 3 star resorts are in this price range offer basic amenities like, complimentary breakfast, running hot water in the room, bottled water (1 ltr) and every kid's favorite called the TV. None of these were offered by Mitreya and the only thing included was the room rent, which in my opinion is too steep for a resort with very basic amenities. Food and service was good...I would definitely not recommend this place to any of my family or friends till the time prices remain so steep...
