Blue Canvas Resort is easily accessible and the services provided by the staff were exceptional. in case you are looking for good food and bit of play area for kids then this is the place. Rooms were decent in size and can accommodate 3 person easily. Play area was having, pool table, table tennis and american soccer table. I guess Basketball court is in progress too hence, you can easily spend good time with your friends and family. Bar-be-que was fabulous. Staff was very courteous and will assist you in the Water rappling activity which is few kms from the resort.

We, a group of 32 people, visited them in the month of August. The location is superb as it gives excellent view of hills and its lifestyle. Food menu is simple yet delicious. Staff is very friendly and looks after your comfort well. The activities they planned for us were simply amazing. Though we had booked for 2 nights but we felt that it was too short a time to explore the place. So we extended our stay by one more night. They also have indoor games like snooker, fusball, tt, badminton and basketball. We look forward to one more trip.

Modest resort featuring functional tents with en suite bathrooms & mountain views. This Resort is based out in the jungle reserve of Chakrata before the main market. There is about 15km off road patch before you reach the Resort along with some breathtaking mountain views. The Parking area is a little small, since we were about 30 people we had captured the whol parking lot with our bikes/cars. They can arrange bonfire activities for you but do make sure you have your cold water, ice, cold drinks ready with you because they do not keep all these stuff at the Resort. The camps are quite good along with the attached washrooms as well, it looks to be a beautiful facility. The food here is quite good too and the staff is soft spoken and helpful too. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is because its not an ideal family place with small Kids just due to it being in a jungle area, insects & worms can be found all along, the sports area needs to trek down narrow garden area which can be trouble for kids without light. Visited Chakrata in May 2018 with my extended family. We were around 25 people of various age groups, youngest being 9 month old and eldest being a lady of 79 years. Our initial plan was to visit chakrata for one day and then continue towards mussorie but in the end we spent all 4 days at chakrata itself. There was so much to do at chakrata and the way they designed and managed the itinerary for us was simply out of this word. The best part was "never say no" attitude of staff. We also spent a day at their other property "Green Canvas" in the middle of jungle which was an experience in itself. Would recommend this place to everyone who wants to spend some quality time in peace. Please note that they are not very prompt in responding to phone call at the initial stages of enquiry, but once you have confirmed the booking they keep you updated with the weather and road conditions. We suspect that they do it purposefully to dissuade travel agents, but whatever be the case, they make up for this by their promptness in service at their resort.…
