Awesome experience, stayed on Independence Day weekend and just got the accommodation in the nic of time. The room was cozy and comfortable and the best thing was it's pet friendly. The service staff was very helpful and forthcoming. The food was sumptuous and had variety. Milk products being from local owned dairy were fresh and tasty. The host in Amit and Praveen were truly awesome, thanks for making the trip a memorable one.
We paid a visit to the Resort and the experience was simply breath taking. Located in a beautiful spot surrounded by green everywhere. the Resort made if stone and the interiors were with wood with all modern amenities, We had a room on the 1st floor the room was nice and spacious and very warm and it was a wonderful. There was a bunk bed for a child to sleep on,a nice innovation We were received by Uday the Manager who was very warm and showed us around. we had our meals in the restaurant, all the meals were very delicious and they made some interesting meals,Chakrata and Himalayan Paradise have found a family who have become big fans. All the best to them
Amazing stay, homely atmosphere. Entire team lead by Uday are very warm and they take all due care to make our stay warm.. I think this is the best place to stay in Chakrata. Food is very good and rooms are also warm. Structure is of stones which makes it more attractive and good to experience
We 6 senior citizens stayed in this property for 4 nights between 24th may to 28th may.on 1st floor(16 flights). Rooms were nice and clean and had sufficient space.Bunk bed facility for children was available in each room we stayed. Entire staff was humble and happy to attend every bell.Food was nostalgic and lip smacking. Amazingly in our entire stay and 12 meals,no repetition was served.Bathrooms were clean and hot water was running in taps.Chakrata in true is a hill station and not a concrete jungle. We enjoyed comfortable stay in Himalayan paradise.
Don't get influenced by the pics of the hotel, the property is not what it seems. 1. Rooms leave a lot to be desired. Small and basic. 2. Food was below average and the guests aren't even consulted on the menu. 3. There is constant shortage of hot water which is bizarre for a resort in a cold place. 4. Overall service didn't justify the room tariffs. Staff was friendly. The house dog (Juno) and cat (Saki) made the stay palatable.
The hotel is a bit far from Chakrata proper, about 5 kilometer on the way to Tiger Falls. The road leading to the hotel bifurcates from the main road that leads onwards and the hotel is located on high ground. When you step into the hotel, the road below is not visible and it seems it is the only thing available amidst hills on all the sides. A steep cliff rises just behind the hotel, very steep. You take a look around standing in the forefront and you find hills and hills all around. Far above the hills there are some houses of course, and you also get glimpses of vehicles plying on the roads on those hills, but when the clouds rise and engulf the hotel along with you standing there, you will feel that you have landed in a place deep inside the hills and forests where nothing is there except the hotel, an awestruck experience. The boys at the hotel are all local and very good and caring. They see that you are not in any inconvenience. My wife had an upset stomach problem and they prepared special meals for her. Dining room is on the floor above, nice and cozy. A dog I found there, pet of course, a necklace made of tin around its neck with protruding sharp ends. I asked why and was told that there are leopards which aims for the neck of animals to kill and the protruding sharp ends are there for deterrence. It may save the life of the dog but it made the dog uncomfortable I feel, unable to move its neck properly. But then, what will be gained by moving the neck if it is killed right? Tiger fall is only a short distance, involves a bit of trekking. Cars go up to the fall but one has to have four wheel drives as the road is a bit muddy. Better trek to the fall which is also a great experience. All in all it is really a paradise and being located in the Himalayas, the name is totally justified.…
True to it's name, the hotel is no less than a paradise. Comfortable and well-designed rooms with an attic to accommodate extra beds. Huge common open area where you can sit and enjoy the winter sun and sip your favorite coffee or tea. Their staff is super nice and polite and they serve really nice home-cooked style meals. On the day of checkout, we decided to go on a trek early morning and we couldn't come back in time for breakfast, and they happily kept breakfast and served it hot to us.
I have stayed at Himalayan Paradise 4 times between 2015 to 2018. It is the best property for anyone who wishes to unwind completely. The rooms are well designed, great feel, thankfully no TV, hot water, an interesting bunk bed for an extra ,a small balcony and an excellent dining hall with a small library. Staff is polite and friendly. You will hear and feel nature at every turn in this slice of Paradise. Atleast 6 variety of birds will land up on the bushes surrounding the parking area and the ground level parking. In addition you get to say hello to the cat and the dogs , you can stroll up to the family home and then carry on towards chakrata or stroll down towards the falls. There is an excellent nesting site of vultures nearby too. Chetan ensures that the USP is protected and is willing to accept poor reviews too , but ,honestly this is the place to stay while at Chakrata.…
Peaceful and heavenly abode in the lap of nature. Cosy rooms with great staff. Chakrata is Bird watchers paradise. Enjoy the serenity and peace in this great property. Ideal holiday for peace loving people out for solace in nature. Thoroughly enjoyed the great stay in the Himalayan Paradise.
A beautiful abode. The place for all peace lovers who likes nature and mountains. We have been nicely taken care. Nice resort to relax. This is not a place for noisy parties and "hulla gulla". Just sit in the lap of nature and enjoy the beauty of the mountains and the forest .
