Do not be fooled by the photos on this page! They are not representative of the current state of the hotel. The only nice thing about this place is the view. Upon arrival there was monkey feces on the lobby furniture and in the hallways. It was there for several hours before it was cleaned up. When exiting the elevators, one whole side of the building was open to the outside and under construction. There were mattresses lined up along the walls in the hallway. The rooms were filthy dirty and there were large stains on the linens. The water from the pipes was brown and had an unpleasant smell. The toilet flushed once and then ran consistently and wouldn’t flush again. I was joined by several spiders and their webs in the shower. There were monkeys and peacocks which were fun to watch, but also prevented you from using the balcony. We were there with a group of 30 and switched hotels after one night. …

Satellite TV problem was not attending till my check out. No room boys for guided to identify our room at check-in time. Lunch is very limited time only, so v missed it. Not an experienced guys for service depth, they r adjust using local boys. Otherwise location is soo Gud, walking 5mins to reach 5falls. Morng breakfast is delicious. Car parking space, balcony views are awesome...

This was our second visit to 5 falls resort after a great stay last year and I must say it sucked big time. It looks like their mid tier staff is going out of their way to drive customers away. we had booked for 2 adults + 1 12 year old through MMT but when we went to check-in, the manager Mr Arafat starting talking random nonsense that he has been a manager there for so many years in an arrogant way and said that MMT did not pay them for the child (though it was clearly mentioned in our mail) and that we would have to pay additional 750Rs for the kid/day. We explained that we added the child at the time of booking in MMT and the fare did increase as a result and even demonstrated the same on our mobile phone. But the incompetent fool insisted that it does not matter and we have to pay extra if we want a room. He also said that MMT cheats people by showing false rates and does not transfer money to them, so he will charge the customers when they land at the resort !! I told him to sort out the issue with MMT or atleast delist from MMT so that customers are not affected. He said that he can't do that as they will miss out on business!! We told him strongly that it is unethical and amounts to cheating their customers. We said we will complain to their management and give reviews online. He said he did not care and asked us to do the same! We could not believe that such a person could be at the front desk! Then one of the staff called up MMT and they explained something about weekday rates etc (their internal deal with MMT which I have no idea about) and then they agreed to give us a room. So there was no issue really! Then he gave us a room which was clearly not ready for use and said it was the only room available (the whole parking lot was empty and it filled over the next couple days, so very likely he was lying). The room was horrible - it did not have a key (so they gave us the master key in the evening), the geyser was missing, the water in the taps was muddy in color etc. So we had to keep calling them to fix each of the things as we tried to use the rooms (we went outdoors after dumping our luggage and did not realize what we got). Luckily we met the owner Mr Abdul by chance at the reception and explained the situation to him. He was surprised that our room did not even have a geyser, had water problems etc. and said he will get us a better room for the next 2 nights (3 night stay) and he did. The second room had a mountain view and everything was in order. That was the saving grace (hence 2 stars on my review instead of 1). It could been very unpleasant if we had not met him. He also acknowledged that they cannot trouble customers for their internal MMT issues. I hope the management takes appropriate action so that this not repeat. The property is in a good location and Mr Abdul seemed genuine in his efforts to make it a great place. It would be a pity to see it run into the ground due to their mid level staff like Mr. Arafat.…

Reception was quite good. But the house keeping was bad. Switches in the room and bath fittings needed attention. Towels were not changed. They dont make the bed every day. Restaurant is mediocre. Food is good but variety could be better.

This is not a Resort, This is Second Home for me. Because my first experience the Staffs make best experience in Courtallam. Very Politely and caring front office staffs the best one about the hotel. Mr.Rashid,Ms.Selva sundari,Ms.Manimala taking all care for us throughout our trip. Food was delicious as well as homemade healthy food, Complimentary Breakfast will available from 6:30AM itself, Regarding extra curricular activities this Resort will bag 10/10 marks. I suggest 5Falls Resort to my family and my friends family to enjoy pleasant and peaceful leisure. Do visit once and get a guaranteed Lifetime Experience. Thanks to Mr.Arfah sir, keep on rocking sir.

Perfect getaway for family and friends. Located very near to five falls. Rooms are tiny and room service also good. I forgot my luggage in lobby while check out,then informed resort. Staffs are very honest and swift to courier to my address in Chennai on same day. Thanks a lot to entire team of Five fall resort.

Its an ideal hotel to stay in Courtallam, its walkable distance from 5 falls (water falls). Good ambiance and hotel will arrange for local transportation at extra cost. Staff are so nice and in house restaurant available which will deliver the food to the room itself.

We were planning for a weekend to relax at courtallam. Its a huge resort like feel with multiple facilities. Before we check in we could a peacock at the roof top of the building. entrance look nice with good reception. Staffs were very friendly and supportive, they have helped us on cab to visit near by places. Rooms are clean and neat. all common area have dining space at ground floor. Breakfast is tasty and over all experience is best at this location.
