Its one of the many hotels/resorts that have started springing up on the Delhi Jaipur highway. So its only by random chance tht u get to visit this place. Stayed there along with a friend from office. I had an enjoyable experience at this Hotel, the staff were more or less attentive and kind. Nice big lawns to walk around in the morning time. Can be a decent place for weekend get togethers.

I went their last summers for a weekend with family. Food does not tasted good. Rooms were clean and greenery of the place was liked by us. We enjoyed in the swimming pool + rain dance. Indoor games were also there. It's OK for family weekend outing.

Set in a large well kept garden this modernistic 1960s style hotel is slowly being reclaimed by nature. The concrete is cracking, the paint faded and the pool was green. But the TV worked, there was (eventually) hot water and the food in the roadside cafeteria was quite acceptable . It could be that because there were only two or three rooms occupied when we stayed that the service was lackadaisical - but overall the place is clean, the gardens make a pleasant break after hours tavelling on NH8 - and the prices are reasonable - ask for a room at the back facing away from the Highway. Hint. If you have a driver be careful that he does not confuse Shakunt Resort with Shakti Resort which is in the center of Behror - Shakunt is 45 minutes West of Behror - not far from the Alwar turn off on the left side if coming from Delhi - your landmark if coming from Jaipur is the VODAPHONE brick kiln chimney shortly before the Shakunt Resort, since the resort is not really visible from the Eastbound carriageway.

I went for a conference to this resort. And I can confidently say that it's one of the wort places I've ever been to - not the worst resort, but the worst place in general.
The resort - not a very apt description of the place - is located in the middle of nowhere. Literally. The only thing nearby is a gas station across the road.
After a long conference, I got back to my room only to find the AC broken. I looked for a phone to call the reception - but couldn't find one. After the AC was repaired, the broken flush fixed, the collapsed curtain-pelmet removed - I tried to sleep. There were no blankets (How weird is that?),and the mattresses were dirty. I also found dead insects everywhere.
After feeling like a survivor of the apocalyptic doom - I go down to the restaurant to get some bottled water (The mini-fridge was... empty.) and am told by the guy behind the counter that it's too late, and he's closing. There were a lot of bottles of water and soft drinks. Right THERE. But no. I was expected to stay thirsty all night and return in the morning.
The next day, I decided to go back to the city. I asked at the reception for a cab to Jaipur. They said they didn't have any such arrangement. I asked if they could just drop me to Kothputli - the nearest habitation - and yet again I received a negative answer. No cabs, no coaches - nothing. So I asked them how I should get to the city, and this was their reply - WALK (with my baggage) to the nearest town and take a bus from there. But not to worry, I might find a car that'll be ready to give me a lift as I walk along the National Highway in the hot Rajasthan sun. Convenient, isn't it?
The only decent advice I finally got was from the gatekeeper, who told me to flag down a bus and take that.
So the next time you want to have an experience to remember - you know where to go!

Stayed here for a few weeks and although the accommodation is very basic, its a very friendly and welcoming resort. Waiters are very friendly as are most staff. Quite a few tourist buses stop here when travelling.

We went for a company trip to this place fot two days. Stay is awsome and hygenic. Food was also good, but they can think of adding some local rajasthani flavours to the menu, as we are so used to typical north indian foods.
Activities: ofcourse thre are some 3-4 drills, but you don't want to try them more than once. large plagrounds offers you ample space to play team outdoor games like cricket (you have to carry your own kit) or kho-kho , pittu etc.
pool: even if you prebook the palce, they waste half of your day filling the pool. one important think to note is carry your own costumes as there's are horrible in condition, torn and very old.
indoor games: carrom, pool, badminton, table tennis- this place has all this to offer.
disappointers: no mocktails, no shades near pool, very oily snacks, no spa's, nothing special for kids, no videogames, overall maintanence chairs and all (although rooms are well maintained).
It has got a lot of space, which they have failed to utilize properly.
overall its an average place for a company/group outing(provided they pre paln what they are going to do there) but a complete no-no for couples if they want to save themselves from boredom.

If you want your time to be wasted in every conceivable manner, be it waiting for hours in the restaurant to be served a meal, or waiting for room service to respond to your request for a cup of tea or a blanket or to replace a dysfunctional room heater, (I could go on for a lot more time), then this is the place to go. The Management there was downright apathetic when they choose to host a DJ party with loudspeakers blaring out extremely noisy music right outside our rooms. Pleas to shift them somewhere else were only met by an indifferent 'We cant help you right now' attitude. I feel sorry that I visited that place.

Excellent service, location, rooms and amenities. Everything was very professional, from check-in to check-out. Fast internet allowed me to do work when I was here. And when I was ready to play, there were many fun things to do. I highly recommend staying here and look forward to my next visit.

This resort came as a surprise to us as we were travelling to jaipur. It was late in the evening when we decided to stop here for some snacks. Must say the property is really beautiful. Only thing was that service was a bit slow. We ended up staying here for 2 nights and a special thanks to Mr.Saini for making our stay a memorable one !

Bansal ( owner ) while having tea , A beautiful temple , adventure arena , gardens, lawns , Amla trees, swimming pool, conference halls , rain dance etc etc its best suitable for families & corporate groups
