This place is answer to your dream of finding a perfect place to have comfortable stay , best of food and an open ,pleasing and safe place in the midst of wilderness of this area . Located only an hours drive from Jaipur, it is gem not to be missed, We highly recommend visiting the nearby Chand Baori Stepwell and the ghost town of bhangarh at sunet. The organic produce is used for most meals . Mealtimes are most inviting . We arrived just after 10 am and we’re greeted with offer of beverages . Lunch was a grand vegetarian meal which was mouth watering . The quite sit out upperdeck overlooking the fields adds to the experience . The staff Is very helpful and hospitable. A great experience of staying here. Highly recommended!!
Below are the points i want every traveller to the site must go through which I'm sharing through my experience : - The check in time was 2pm, but we check-in at 5 pm. Still, we were given a room which was full of foul smell I.e. room 40 and after complaining and when room freshners didn't work at all we were shifted to another room. - Our First night, where i was looking for some rest after such a long and hectic drive there were power cuts in every one hour starting 11pm in the resort. But that was somehow managed with Genset support on and off because there was one more family with us in the resort. - The next morning when I complained regarding the same , I was told that there are some issues going on with the power supplies and "we cannot put genset support of the property for single occupancy, since we are the only ones in the resort. - Then the same thing got repeated again in the "25th March 2022" night; I.e. There was a power cut from 4;45 AM till 8.00 AM in the morning, and this time there was no Genset support even. With the scorching heat of 38 degrees and my 4 year kid accompanying it was very tragic and we messed up with our basic requirements and forgot about service or hospitality. - The incident was reported by myself to the caretakers, but they were blank faced, as i was in the middle of complaining the same while having my breakfast in the morning before checking out, again a power cut happened for 20 mins without genset support. - This all happened in the presence of the owner Mr Dhananjay Rathod of the Umaid Palace; but he did not have the audacity to feel sorry or take feedback with respect to all that was happening. Pros: - Beautiful property - super quite environment - Nice pool site - Super Food (But Quite expensive) Cons : - Limited and Non trained staff. - Night power cuts - Only food option in the area and super expensive, I.e. A tawa roti @ 55/- + Taxes. Request everyone to kindly plan trip to this site accordingly, and give serious thought when visiting in summers and with family. Thanks,…
The inhouse restaurant is very good with nice outdoor seating and tasty food. They also serve breakfast in the morning. The hotel grounds are also nice. The rooms can be improved a bit as they don't seem palatial at all.
Excellent stay with exceptional food. If u are looking for a nice getaway, this is the place. The staff is very courteous and they take great care of guests. Pool is also nice with clean water. Lawns are well manicured.
The place is very beautiful 😍 , in lap of nature. Staff is very polite and nice. I enjoyed the best moment there. The food is organic and there are many places near by to visit. I loved the greenary of that area. Worth visit
Hotel is nice . Food is good. Staff is courteous. The dining area which is outside restaurant is unique. We can see what ever of lake is left now. Chand baoli can be visited which is nearby. Also a nearby village has one beautiful baoli not so famous but a real gem
Umaid Lake Palace is a nice property in Dausa. Beautiful retreat, lovely and courteous staff, good food and great locale. Highly recommend this property for a fun and energising stay with family and friends.
Beautiful, large, serene compound. Originally a farm house, the old and elegant architecture houses many fascinating artifacts. So one can enjoy some interesting strolls through the 'palace' as well as in the spacious gardens and around their organic farms. The 'lake' was not visible. Some of the mentioned attractions were 'not available' such as the sand dunes safari. The sites of Abhaneri well and Bhangarh fort were easily accessible. The food was excellent- very fresh and authentic, esp. the Rajasthani thali. Some items seemed priced far too high (tea and soft drinks). Breakfast really ought to have been included in the room rent but wasn't. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay pleasant overall.
We decided to stop over at Umaid lake palace on our way to Ranthambore. It’s close to Abhaneri stepwell (which itself is awesome and worth visiting!). It’s a hidden gem with vast lawns, pool and badminton-volleyball courts. Food spread was basic but fresh and excellent in taste. Vikas at the front office and Hazari at the restaurant were great and took good care of us. Unluckily, we had some rowdy neighbors that caused issues to the hotel management, but I was happy with the professionalism and transparency of the staff. Keep up the good work.
Excellent food, extremely courteous and well mannered staff. Very good rooms and overall the place has a very nice ambience and is quite comfortable to stay. Special appreciation to their kitchen staff and one Mr Madan. Hope the management will add on to the infrastructure in future and create more amenities.
