We travelled as a group of friends and stayed at this lodge for 2 nights. We had a wonderful experience. The rooms are tastefully furnished and very comfortable, with a small verandah from where one can enjoy the wild surroundings. The bathrooms are large and spacious, with all amenities. The pool is quite large and great for families. The food...

I visited forsyth lodge last month. It was my first visit to Satpura. I stayed there for two nights and wish could have stayed for couple of days more. The Lodge is managed by the team of Naturalist and would appreciate all of them for their Hospitality. The Safari was arranged very well and I could get some very good...

Right from the moment we reached to the time we left, we were looked after superbly and couldn't have asked for more. The lodge and its surroundings are just gorgeous and gave us several new experiences - exploring the National Park by foot, on elephant back, by jeep... a wonderful boat ride on the river... night safari (which had the...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and were enchanted by the National Park, the staff at Forsyth's Lodge and the food that was served. We were cared for in a very personal way as were all the other guests and the accommodation was first class. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. The organisation was impeccable and the...

I would like to begin this review by stating that this is a "Must Visit" place, if you are a nature lover. This upscale lodge is located between Madhai and Kamti village, about 140 Kms from Bhopal. You will not see any signboards for the property as the owners do not wish to pollute the nature by erecting extra ugly...

Thanks to the care and attention of the manager and our excellent guide Bejoy we had a fantastic time here. Our room was lovely with outside sitting area and a large comfy bed. The dining was great, pool welcome and one day the ladies from the local village cooked lunch for us. It was simple village food and delicious. The...

We stayed for three nights in May 2016 at Forsyth lodge, The rooms where top-notch and was beatifullly designed. The food was also delicious with a great variety of dishes. However, the best was our guide, David Raju. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic! He showed us a great variety of wildlife including sloth bears and leopards and many bird species.

I stayed at the Forsyth Lodge for three nights in a small group of 8 people and would happily have stayed twice as long! The accommodation, food and ambience were all outstanding, but even more impressive were the teamwork and camaraderie amongst the managers and staff. The naturalists were knowledgeable, engaging and great communicators - easily the best I encountered...

After two weeks of seeing some of the treaures of India we finished our trip at Forsyth Lodge. It turned out to be another treasure. The Lodge is appropriately and beautifully fitted out and is discretely located in quiet countryside so that the birds and monkeys can provide the entertainment. The accommodation is perfect and the food is excellent but...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Forsyth's Satpura is a stylish and an environmentally friendly lodge that is engaged with the park management and the local community in a pioneering effort to create an unprecedented jungle experience in one of the most exciting tiger habitats in the world. This is an effort to create an exceptional wilderness experience for those who truly revel in wild places far from the jeep borne hordes that have defaced so many other parks. Here we provide you with an opportunity to explore the jungle on foot, by canoe's, on elephant back, jeeps and motorised boats. You can also experience the nocturnal creatures that the jungles offer by sitting in our machaan which is set in the 45 acres of wilderness around the lodge. We have been ranked 2nd in the recent survey by Conde Nast traveller in the top 30 eco destinations in India and have also been awarded for our outstanding performance by TOFT. ... more   less
