Had an excellent stay, beginning with making the reservation.
They gave us detox water to greet us, quick the check-in process, and offered lots of things to do including boat rides, guided river walks, indoor games, kid's play areas, turf courts, and more. Additionally, the food tasted delicious.

We went in July so it was very pleasant. Not rainy nor hot. The overall experience was very good because the rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, and food was good enough. The ambience was very peaceful and beautiful with the rooms all facing a central pond where boating could be done. The trees and plants were beautiful. They have indeed taken care to do the exterior and interiors well. Liked the floral shirt uniforms of the staff too. It is no five star experience but a good weekend get away for people staying a couple of hours away from this location. The common infinity swimming pool was big enough for a good time in the water with family. They also have bullock cart ride, zorbing, coconut leaf craft class, bonfire at nights and river walk in the mornings. The pool inside the villas were the best. The people in charge seem to be knowledgable enough about hospitality and customer experience but the lower staff needs to be trained more. The rooms didn’t have tissue or coffee mugs or glasses each time House Keeping finished cleaning. Though the senior staff apologized and promptly corrected their mistakes. They had room service and Netflix so kids had a relaxing dinner time watching movies after the morning activities. Overall very good place and would certainly recommend this to everyone. Mr. Parthiban in charge of activities was friendly and helpful in whatever we asked him off. The cherry on the top was when he took a beautiful family picture of us outside in the garden and gave us two free framed copies in 5 minutes!

We had our M.Sc reunion at this beautiful resort away from hustle and bustle of the cities. We thoroughly enjoyed every bit of our stay because of the activities they have at this resort.The activity manager Mr.Dinesh is very good in engaging us with his innovative games,bonafire, bullock cart ride, river walk, dancing to the tunes.He used to be there when ever we want something and fulfil the same with a smile. I wish to go back to this place again and again. The rooms are spacious and very well maintained with beautiful landscaped garden. Chef Susendiran dished out tasty breakfast items every day. His Pine apple kesari is very delicious. We used to wait for breakfast everyday.The breakfast spread is vast with so many options. Evening snacks were lip smacking. Check in and check out was made easier by front officers Dhiman and Akhil. The senior associate Shafeek and his associate Ignesh served always with a smile n the restaurant.

Coco Lagoon by Great Mount is a property that clearly reflects the love and affection of its owner. The design and architecture of the resort are commendable, showcasing thoughtful planning and a genuine effort to create a beautiful and serene retreat. It’s evident that a lot of heart went into building this asset, making it all the more disheartening to see where it currently stands.
Unfortunately, the resort has completely missed the mark when it comes to service and upkeep. Cleanliness and hygiene, fundamental aspects of any hospitality experience, have been overlooked, leaving much to be desired. The service is inconsistent and lacks the attention to detail that a property of this caliber deserves.
I sincerely hope that Sajith and his team can get their act together and restore Coco Lagoon to its full potential. It’s a place with so much promise, but without proper maintenance and a focus on guest experience, it risks falling short of what it could be. I also hope the owners realize the difference between the vision they created and the reality it has become. This property deserves better, and with the right changes, it could truly shine.

Customer service Don't deserve to be in hospitality business. Extremely rigid staff. Unwilling to help in any aspect. Be it security guard, restaurant, reception. It is an attitude issue. On top of it, just want to charge the guest for anything that is possible

Food for vegetarians We almost starved for 3 days. Limited options available for vegetarians. Charged a bomb for Gala dinner, where we couldn't find anything reasonable for vegetarians. Breakfast was way below standards.
Needless to say, quality and taste made it even worse
As a solution, we walked to a nearby petty cafe for regular snacks, tea/coffee. What a shame!
Positives Suman from swimming pool area was an welcome exception. Amazing support Madhan also the same. Too good. Indoor games and Turf area were excellent

Though a small property, Rooms and property are well maintained. 5 star to food. 0 star to few of the staffs especially the front desk, room service. Camp fire was just a gimmick with just smoke and no actual fire. Discriminating guest which is the saddest part of the whole trip. Requested to switch on plunge pool filter multiple times, but didn't. Nothing much to see around. Overly priced against the amenities and service.

Arrival and first impressions: This is my first visit to Coco Lagoon! Was highly impressed with Mr.Yoga’s and Ms.Lavanya’s welcoming and hospitality ! We were served a coco lagoon signature welcome drink which was unique and amazing ! Ms.Lavanya guided us to our room and gave us introduction.
The Palm Restaurant: All types of cuisines were available. Taste was great. Special mention to Mr.Amstrong whose service and hospitality was really great ! Mr.Guru who prepared food for our baby ! Note: The restaurant people prepare food for our baby as per our requirements (off course we brought our own ingredients like powder,etc to make porridge).
Activities in the resort: Outdoor: Shout out to Mr.Parthiban who guided us and helped us with both outdoor and indoor activities. We went for a bullock cart ride and had a great experience, Parthiban took us great photos and videos of us. There is a dedicated kids play area. We did cycling (nostalgic) :-) Swimming pool was neat and clean but we didn’t use it just to be careful because of this pandemic. There is also a river walk in the morning guided by the resort staff Parthiban and they also guide whether we can get in to the waters based on the flow and depth. It was an amazing experience. Indoor: There are lot of indoor activities like Carrom, Table tennis, fussball.
Overall opinion: Coco lagoon is one of the best resorts I have been to. Highly family friendly. One of the best and must visit getaway near Coimbatore/Pollachi.

Our stay at Coco Lagoon by Great Mount in Pollachi was an insredible tropical escape! Surrounded by swaying coconut trees, the resort is a true tropical paradise with a serene and lush environment that makes you feel instantly relaxed. They have a beautiful pond where guests can enjoy a peaceful boat ride, adding to the charm of the property. There are plenty of activities to keep you engaged, from pottery sessions and a nostalgic bullock cart ride to an evening barbecue with live entertainment and a mesmerizing magic show by a renowned artist. These unique experiences make the stay all the more enjoyable. We stayed in the Tropical Suite, which was wonderful, but the resort also offers other accommodation options like suites with pond-view and pool views and private villas with swimming pools, catering to various preferences. The food was delightful, and the breakfast buffet spread was decent with a good variety to kick-start the day. For those looking for a wonderful stay option while exploring nearby destinations like Valparai, Coco Lagoon is a perfect choice. It’s an ideal base for a rejuvenating getaway, surrounded by the beauty of nature and coconut groves. Highly recommended!

House keeping Rakul akathiyan Mohan excellent location very nearby from the main Road . Food is ok . Same activities performed on both days change over of activity may be best . Activity is good . Drivers feel they may occupy in a small needy comfortable room pls arrange as early as possible. This may help for other visitors Driver . Overall is very good .

Had been for a weekend staycation and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is located in a sedate part of Pollachi, not too far from the city. Spread out over 4 acres of lush coconut palms (hence the name I suppose), it lies across the road from the river stream. There's about a dozen quaint cottages surrounding the lagoon, each with a porch made precious with beautiful wooden furniture only a resort can justify, with the pinnacle being an entire patio set carved straight out of a tree trunk and root. And if this doesn't leave you impressed, the restaurant most definitely will. By far the best food I've had at a hill station/resort. The buffet spread is a mix of all cuisines and even in the heart of Southern India they have managed to get a hold authentic north indian and continental delicacies. The rooms are spacious and have touches which make you realise how much attention to detail has been paid. The staff are more than happy to help you with anything under the sun and their hospitality is something that definitely elevates your experience. I would definitely suggest you to give them a chance to let them be of service to you if you're in these parts of the woods. A must visit just for the food.

It is safe for all travelers male or female. The hotel can arrange for all transfers and also for any city or nearby sight-seeing. You will get a vehicle with a driver. He will drive you to nearby locations and return back to resort. The staff are friendly and service oriented. They will help.
Dear Sir, I have understood your question to be " How much time to travel from CoCo Lagoon to Udumalpet ?" If my understanding is right, the travel time will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
There are more places to choose from in the Pollachi Town area.
