"Klub Khavana" takes off from the name Khavane, which is a village in Vengurla town. The beach is secluded and largely undisturbed - becomes a perfect getaway for a nice & quiet (& romantic) vacation. This cosy place with two luxurious cottages is on your own private beach!! "For whatever we lose (like a you or a me) it's always ourselves we find in the sea!" What if the beach is aptly complimented with beautiful backwaters?? Khavane backwaters run almost 1 Km inside the land and is a stone's throw away from Klub Khavana. Klub Khavana has now opened up two luxurious wooden cottages - with a promise to expand by yearend. The two cottages are equipped with ACs, TVs with set top boxes, and a master bed. This unique experience of luxury amongst the rustic fishermen's colony will amaze you and want to come back for more!!! Activities that we provide are - • Walk through the local fishermen colony. • Khavane backwaters • Paddle boating/ Kayaking • Fishing trip with the local fishermen. • Line fishing. • Frying fish on the boat • Barbeque your catch • Beach volleyball • Visit to local temples • 1 day trip - North Sindhudurg • 1 day trip - South Sindhudurg • 1/2 day boat trip to Vengurla Rocks (Light house) • Dolphin/Peacock sighting trips

Booked this place for 3050 per night on MMT. A huge mistake it's not even worth 500 a night. It's not located at vengurla but at khavane 9 odd kms away, a lonely winding road. We arrived yesterday at 3.30pm. En route we tried calling a listed number, which turned out to be wrong. we managed to connect a bit later, only to be told that the kitchen was closed. No mention that there are no shops or other restaurants in the area. We reached hungry, thirsty. There was no drinking water provided, nor glasses in the room. We were promised a snack when the cook returned at 5pm, but received oily spicy bajis at 6.15 without ketchup as it was unavailable. The dinner was tasty.. however the bill was shocking: 450/- a kingfish thali and 350/- for prawns thali. When you are at this hotel's mercy you just have to pay up and shut up. The complementary breakfast we got were two miserly rice chapati with green chutney ey and bitter black tea. No options, take it or leave it. no bedsheets where provided. The TV didn't work. There's no connectivity except for Jio. No intercom, so you'd have to walk to the reception each time to beg for anything. You have to park your car more than 300 meters away and descend by foot on a steep slope, so the climb back to your vehicle is tough...very risky for aged and heart patients. Worst of all is the indifferent attitude of the owner whom we spoke to on the phone and his staff. Give this highly overpriced place a miss. The beach isn't as clean as it looks on the pics posted by the hotel. There are people who take a dump on the rocks. It's strewn with bottles, flotsam and the sea doesn't look too safe for a swim. God forbid something should happen, you will not get help in time.

Totally hopeless hotel, not value for money. Hotel showing fake pictures on internet, so first check for amenities then only book this hotel. AC not working all the time. Hotel staff gives excuses of power fail, etc. Food quality is worst, overpriced dishes. Hotel staff takes advantage of the remote area. Overall, try not to stay here, there are many good hotels around.

This place has four rooms, two cottages on ground floor and two rooms above them. Sea view from all rooms, the upper two have sea facing balconies. We paid 16k per day for the entire place for our family of 7. The first night was ruined due to air-conditioning and general electricity issues. You cannot survive without air conditioning here and the first day it failed about 50 times. Maybe not their fault as it seemed the entire area had a blackout. Note there are various housekeeping issues this place faces (and there are lots.. maintenance, upkeep, etc) On the brighter side, the helpers, Vicky and Omkar, are very sweet and will make your day with their help and good nature. Roman their dog is a sweetheart. Shanti in the kitchen is a great cook and the quality of food here is generally superb. Surmai fry highly recommended. Always go for thali..malwani food .. here, don't go for continental. Paradise for sea food lovers. Veg decent too.. The location is great.. really absolutely on the beach. Very gentle waves and safe for swimming. Fisherman fish all day on the beach though, lending it a slight fishy smell. Clean water though. Must mention that cars DO NOT go all the way to this resort, the last two hundred metres is a steep walk down. And Coming back up is a steep climb therefore and not for old people, or those with knee issues. The guy does NOT tell you this when you book it. The small flat tv in the room works but very few channels.. beds are comfortable and the shower works with hot water anytime. (Instant Geysers..) .. Great place if you want to chill in an affordable (for a family of 8-10) place right next to the sea. Do not expect luxury or hospitality service beyond the most basic. Carry mosquito coil, they do not keep any and there are huge mosquitoes in the gardens and on the beach during evenings. A trip to the nearby backwaters or lighthouse is most recommended, and probably the highlight of our visit here.

Mouth watering food, thoughtfully designed rooms, amazing backwater and sea view... What else you want...!!! This place gives you everything. Let's start with my fav part - Food. Food is very important for us (me n my wife) whenever we visit any place and food here is so fingerlicking delicious... We had Surmai, Pomfret, Prawns as usual. But highlight was Shark (Mori masa) and Crabs. You just name the fish and they will do everything possible to make it on your plate. We even had charcoal cooked-sea dipped 'Saundala' fish directly from the fisherman boat - Thanks Mr. Sachin for that...!!!Dinner will be served in garden under the clear sky. It is so much clear that you can do star gazing if you like...!!! F or breakfast we had softest ever Ghavan and chutney. You can get Poha n all, but I suggest to go for local cuisine. Let's come to rooms. We chose wooden cottage. From its window you see garden, parked boats and beautiful sea. You can put table and chairs in the porch and have your drink. AC works fine and water is 24x7. Basic toiletries are provided, better if you take your own. Room service is fantastic. Mr. Bharat takes care of everything. If you are lucky, then co-owner Mr. Sachin will be there. I find him very creative and innovative. It was fascinating to here directly from him about this property and how they have started all this. Beach is crystal clear and very safe. There are some rocks at both ends of the beach where you can sit and relax if you want. Don't miss the backwater boating. Just ask boatman to stop the engine when you are surrounded by mangrove forest. Feels heaven. We even sighted "stork billed kingfisher" there. A morning walk to nearby beach is also not to miss. If you have 2-3 days time go for lighthouse visit or a small waterfall nearby. We missed these bcoz of time shortage. All in all it was worth every penny you spend here. Make sure you carry cash or do pre-payment online as there is absolutely no mobile network. A small request to owners - put signage near Temple, that's all. 😛

It was one of my best times at a beach with besties. Overall, it was fantastic, rustic, serene and sane experience! Kids were not ready to turn back from lovely beach which is safe and clean. I was too excited to get the fresh king fish and pomfret literally from net to the beach side barbeque. The taste of freshness was heavenly! It's right on the beach, you get an amazing sea view, you get food on demand and customized for your taste, you walk to beach which is not crowded at all..what more you need! And yes, the small village is beautiful, full with kind souls who welcome you when you pass-by. It was an amazing experience!btw, we tried 10 varieties of fresh fish😋
