Experience was really good. Service provided was also good. Catering service was actually the best part because the food they served was of great taste. I’m definitely coming to Somnath again and my first choice if staying is actually lilavati.

Rooms are very good, they have all modern amenities like a big king size bed, Split AC, TV, Bathroom with hot water & western toilet, wardrobe, sofa set etc & a nice balcony. Room rents are very cheap beyond imagine. This hotel has a good restaurant with good fresh food but veg meal is available only. Each meal item are tasty. Meal rate is very cheap around Rs 70-80/- per head. We stayed there for four days. You have to book this hotel well advance minimum two month before your stay. There are many cab operators nearby for Gir, Diu etc tours. Somnath temple is at walk-able distance. Nice environment, daily cleaning of room & good behavior of Managers & staffs.

Nested within a complex the Lilawati Guest House owned and managed by Somanth Trust is the best place to stay in Somnath. You can book the place through their website or at the counter but do book in advance at Shree Somnath Trust, Ph [--]. With rooms starting from just Rs 300 the guest house is in high demand and is 10 mins walking from the temple. It has a canteen where you get pre-plated thalis- but mind you no sharing allowed. There is an ATM, two snacks corner, ample parking everything inside the complex. Very well-maintained it makes the journey to Somnath complete. Just outside the complex there are lines of eateries Gujarati, Punjabi, Bengali, even Chinese you get as per your taste and pocket. From here you can do the entire visit of Somnath Temple, the triveni sangam, ahiliya bai temple, prabhas patan etc. etc.

This is one of the guest houses managed by Somnath Trust. It is a relatively large and a newer guest house, quite close to Somnath temple and bus stand. Rooms are specious. Surely housekeeping can improve. There is a canteen which provides tea, b/f and meals at defined times; all vegetarian. Considering that there is not much choice in Somnath, we had to depend on Canteen. Food quality is acceptable but no choice. Somnath temple is majestic and Linga (one of the 12 revered jyotirlingas in India) is impressive. GH being near to temple, we could visit the temple a number of times during a day and had heart-full darshan.

This is the somnath Trust Managed Guest House, well furnished and full value of your money, a good dining area with morning tea breakfast then lunch, evening tea & dinner all pure veg, fully furnished neat & clean room, very reasonable rates 24 hour hot cold running water starting from 400/- non AC room ac rooms from 900/-, meals also very reasonable starting fro rs. 50/- . this guest house is very high demand please take pre booking of guesthouse.

We visited Somnath in March 2015 and we stayed here for overnight. Overall good, clean, nice atmosphere, garden, with all needed facilities in room like hot water, LED TV and clean bed with nice bedsheets. The staff was good and very much cooperative. It has its own restaurant inside with nice homely kind of food availability. Just 5 minutes walking distance to Somnath temple and market.
Overall a good place to stay in Somnath.

The Guest House is managed by Somnath Trust and is about 5 minutes walk from Main Temple and Bus stand. Guest house rooms are comfortable and have variesties of rooms ie A/C, non-A/C. I chose A/C room. TV is provided in the room. Guest has own Dining facility which good for vegeterians. At about 50 m dstance mult cuisine restaurent is also there.
If oppurtunity comes I will again stay there.

it is very well maintained by somnath trust. Big rooms are their both ac and non ac. They are clean with all basics amenities & clean restaurant with self service. The railway station and the Somnath Temple is very near from Lilavati. It is just as walking distance. Lift in the hotel is provided. The cuisine is also excellent in taste.

Booked Lilavati atithigruh online with lot of hesitation and questions in my mind.........how clean will be rooms and linen etc.
To my surprise, it turnout to be awesome place to stay. So once you are in Somanth, you have to go Central booking office with receipt of your booking & ID proof of all the members. They will give you one receipt and by showing that to Lilavati atithigruh reception (yes, you have read it right. It has proper reception) - they will give you key for your room.
Also has got room boy to assist you to move your luggage to your room. Atithigruh has also got lift / elevator and wifi. Once you will reach in the room, same room boy will inform you about all the things given in room and will take your sign on receipt. Atithigruh also provide 2 clean towels to use during your stay.
I booked AC room, which costed me Rs. 1100+tax. However YOU DO NOT NEED AC ROOMS IN MARCH. Weather was so nice, that we were very comfortable with fan only.
Temple is just 10 mins walk away or you can get ric outside property. Atithigruh has got in-house which serves tasty Gujarati food. They also provide tea & milk in rooms.
Lots of car hire agencies near atithigruh.
Overall a happy stay.
