Stay was smooth.. room was clean. Breakfast was decent. Staff are supporting and helpful.. Location is perfect hardly 1 km from temple. Price was really good deal, appreciated.. one suggestion need to clean campus little more.. overall good experience.
Very nice hotel and restaurant,we stayed there for one night ,room was clean and spacious , behaviour of staff is very good .their restaurant is also very good.we had a delicious dinner and breakfast there. Restaurant staff also very good , very good service .
As part of the Gujarat tour during second week of Aug 2019 we stayed at Somnath for a night. The staff are cooperative. The hotel does not have lift working, so we have to walk up and down. The restaurant and food is good.
Safari Hotel and Resort is conveniently located and very near to Somnath Railway Station. Hotel and lawn is very well maintained. Hospitality is superb and staff is very supportive. We didn't tried food at their restaurant, but nearby restaurants are also good. Rooms are spacious and clean. There was TV in room, but only Free-to-air channels were available. Our stay was very comfortable.
The hotel is worse than a boys hostel. Dirty staircases, stinking Toilets, smelly beds, non availability of elevators, no hot waters are the nightmares among others we faced. Breakfast at the restaurant was literally a war zone and I preferred to lay down my weapons than fight as the food was worse than ever. These guys have no idea that they are in the hospitality sector and pretend as if they are doing a favour on us. The location too is a put off as it is on the highway and dusty. Do not opt.
The distance from somnath railway station is 15 minutes from auto. Location is good and staff of this hotel is also good. They clean the room regularly and u will not have any complain. The airtel network is here low but they are giving Wifi so that u can enjoy the connection. It is also having restaurant facility. Food is very nice in this hotel.Overall a good hotel.
They call it as resort but it is an average hotel. The rooms are spacious but infested with bugs. Highly recommended to get the pest control done every day. The interiors are fine, nothing exemplary. There is a big lawn for small parties. The restaurant is good and the food is delicious. A little costly but worth the taste. It is around 2-3 kms from the main attraction i.e the temple. Can be tried.
The hotel environment is good but service is bad. We stayed for 3 days. They have not cleaned the room or changed sheets. After serving tea or coffee they do not leave tray when asked they they have only 1 tray
For overnight stay it's okay , staff is indeed very good. But as it's a old property..it need renovation badly..temple is 1.5 km from the hotel.yhe front desk is helping.Room amenities and hotel need major renovation.
I will start giving Pros and Cons directly. Pros: Good Location Spacious Rooms Cons: Hot Water: They claim to give u 24 hour hot water supply, but in actual when u go in bathroom, u have to fill 2 to 3 buckets with cold water, before hot water actually start coming, sometime it is very mild and not even warm. Food: The problem is they dont serve Gujarati Food and they dont cook good north Indian food. In daal they have nothing but Tuar Daal (Arhar Daal) and in Vegetable it is mix veg. They dont have even tawa chapati, serves tandoori roti made from maida and not Atta (wheat). Most of the items I asked from menu were not available. No Wifi: No wifi facility in rooms. Unsupporting Policies: Last day I had to leave early at 7.30 AM, so I asked if breakfast can be served some early, but they refused directly. They even refused to pack our breakfast for our journey. Even my room lock was not working properly, I had to call someone to help me while opening it. …
