When you ring the door you get a big smile from 3 sisters and mom. The whole stay was just brilliant because of great attitude in the house. Sonam, Palkit & Chuki makes you feel at home. Very clean house, Great food , Local breakfast & even they helped us with the bags transport. The dining area is superb. 25 people can easily accomodate. Monastery and caves are at a walking distance. Must stay at palkit guest house for a wonderful experience.
We booked 4 rooms this months in advance and paid advance amount. The day we were driving to Tabo we got a call from a different home stay to tell us we have one room there , this confused and alarmed us. We realised they have split our rooms between two places due to double booking . It was tough as we reached there late and could not find another place as we wanted to stay together. They agreed they messed up. Anyhow it’s just one night , so we managed but definitely not a good experience to have booking paid for and not allocated as promised . Two young boys manage it , so I assume they are still learning through it and it will improve going forward, hopefully. The home stay where we got a room is Buddha home stay and it’s run by a very young boy and his grand parents , found him extremely good and ready to help however he could , his home stay is very clean through a bit inside from road .…
First Queer based and friendly cafe in spiti, cannot express the warmth i have experienced here, Yashraj Who knows this place is a very beautiful person inside out, he made all of us happy with his cuteness and kindness, food is good and traditional i had one of the best time of my life here, Yashraj promised he would come to UAE to meet me.
Namsay home stay is definitely for an authentic and local experience which it rightly offered. The house is conveniently located in the small town of Tabo. It is a warm and cozy home and made with simple asthetics. With Queer friendly themed, first homestay in himachal that welcomes queers with open arms. The house has a beautiful backyard with a variety of flowers. A perfect place to sip your tea or just sit and relax. The hospitality of extremely warm and food was good. Yashraj is perfect to make your experience entertaining with his cuteness and mischief. We got to try the local seabuckthorn tea, dried apples and Tibetan bread Baklep, which were good. To take the experience a notch better.

Fantastic owner and great crew! Must stay here. We were not sure where we wanted to stop. Nako was very disappointing so we moved ahead. As the Tabo town came we started looking for places. Namsey is right on the highway NH 505. Aseem met us right on the entrance. We wanted to putch our tent initially and he was helping with that. Then he told us about these caves, a small hike up from his property. We finally took a room in his mud house and glad that we did. Had amaZing time! Even saw the milky way at night and enjoyed local khop kha music played by the spitian owner himself. What can I say! Thank God we found Aseem!
I had one of the best experiences of my life in this homestay, the hosts are really fun and friendly. It is situated in the serene valley of Spiti and has to offer one of the most breathtaking views of the valley. Would 10/10 recommend everyone to stay at the homestay
I had a great experience during my visit in February this year. The hosts are really chilled out and welcoming. Watch out for the traditional live music and the local food of Spiti. Not to forget the amazing views the moment you step out.
I stayed with Namsay in Feb 2021, which was the start of tourism post-COVID in Spiti. We were welcomed by a very sweet host. The food, staff, cleanliness, and stories made our stay really memorable. I was so awed by the fact that this is the oldest homestay in Tabo. Will visit again soon :)
