Family of 4 stayed in a simple room with two bunk beds. It was clean and quiet so we got a good night sleep. Breakfast was simple and not memorable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all very good value for money.

Cozy and clean. The breakfast is pretty good. Different sorts of bread and cereals, plenty of space in the breakfast area. Some traffic noise. The staff is very laid back and it takes extremely long time before the phone is answered. The internet in the rooms is terrible, very unstable. So if internet in the room is a must for...

This is a fine place to make a stopover on your way north or south along the E6 Oslo-Gothenburg-Copenhagen highway. Rooms are nice and clean with toilet and shower but quite small. There are a few places to sit and hang around inside but none of them are especially cozy, which is strange because part of the building is really...

Great hostel, perfect for what we wanted. In a great location to attend for the Gatebil festival in Rudskogen, only a 20 minute drive away. Rooms are basic but clean, and breakfast is ok, good value for money, especially in Norway where everything is so expensive. Lake nearby is a great for a swim and restaurants are walking distance away.

We had a friendly welcome, a spotlessly clean room, a good shower, a view of trees, a quiet night and an excellent buffet breakfast - it was perfect for our requirements. A 20 minute walk to downtown Sarpsborg brought us to a good restaurant in former stables.

Had a good deal by emailling direct, 650KR for private room and breakie, which is good in my experience in Norway. Arrangements were made as I arrived before reception opened at 1700. Breakfast was very nice and well presented. The rooms were a high standard and the showers powerful. With linen included in my price. 5 Mins from the local...

The rating would be OK if the price was some 50-60 Euro per night, taking into account the high prices in Norway. However, the actual price for a double room is close to 120 Euro. For this money, you get max 10 square meters of a thin-walled room without a closet, poor heating of the bath room, just 1 towel...
