This hotel must not be seen as a place of accommodation but as a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed. It cannot be reviewed like any other hotel, nor should it be judged like any other hotel. When you stay here you are welcomed with a drink, shown around the place and then served a meal that surpassed ourv expectations....

We stayed in one of the cabins , which are great. The staff is very very friendly and helpfull. The scenery is very nice , real snowwhite snow. And above all we had 3 northern light shows ( green with the naked eye) just from the porch of the cabin!!! We also did the crab fishing excursion ,very well organised...

This place is not like anything I've ever seen! The Snow Rooms are works of art and a unique place to sleep for those wanting an adventure. The cabins are beautiful, warm and cozy. I loved my ride on the dog sled.

Very expensive fun 4 star This is a novelty location and I wouldn't have gone if it weren't for my kids. It is a very pricy side trip from Oslo, and cost about three times our stay per night in the city. We actually stayed in one of the cabins, which are surprisingly spacious, with nice big windows and heated...

What an amazing experience to stay here! We stayed in a cabin 2 nights. The cabin is WARM and cozy and the perfect location to sit and look out the window at the beautiful scenery. We loved the two chairs in front of the window along with the hot water kettle, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Every day we fed...

Having longed to see the Northern Lights, we took a Hurtigruten ship- the Kong Harald from Bergen to Kirkenes. Once above 66 degrees North and in the Arctic Circle, landscape became monochromatic in the Polar Night, more beautiful each day and the Lights appeared on three successive nights! The last day and night was spent at the snow hotel in...

What an experience! Ok, this isn't somewhere you'd want to stay for several nights, but for a single night, it was incredible! The evening began with an introduction in a traditional and historic chalet, where we met some staff as well as the others who were staying in the hotel overnight. We had a lovely introduction to the history of...

We stayed in one of the ice rooms and it was noteven that cold. The icebar was super and they provided with everything needed to keep ourselves warmduring the night. Dinner was top quality and of course the sight of the northern lights is the highlight of this place. a+

I, my husband and our 2 sons stayed 1 night at the snow hotel in January 2016. That night has to be the coldest day of my life the temperature dropped to -35c, we arrived from Oslo without our luggages, SAS airlines didn't forward them from the connecting flight. The lady at reception was the most friendly we ever met....
