We spent the night here to round off a weeks cruising the fjords. Lots of activities available, we went snowshoeing then husky sleddding at 3pm in the dark. A clear sky meant the northern lights appeared during the evening. Dinner was a set menu and could have been improved if the plates for the main course had been warm. Shots...

Wow, this is quite an experience, and on Christmas Day! We arrived at the hotel at lunch time - still with some daylight left. We were offered the use of skis or snow boots to explore around the grounds, or we could have pre-booked a husky sled ride, a snowmobile trip, or a king crab safari. You are not shown...

We stayed 2 nights in the cabins. All was a little chaotic. You do get a nice tour to see the Snow Hotel rooms - fine if you want to sleep on ice. The cabins were good, set up on the hill with one 'wall' glass so you could see the sky if you wished. They don't give much by way...

The snowhotel is a magical place which is simply unforgettable! Everything is well organised and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. We did a snowshoeing tour and a king crab safari along with our overnight stay and would recommend it all!

We had a dinner and visit in the Kirkenes Snowhotel. The stuff is really nice and interested in their guests. The tour and the dinner was great. They did a great job with building this amazing hotel. We strongly recommend the hotel.

I came with my husband and daughter and stayed in Snowhotel for 3 nights in Cabin and 1 night in Ice hotel room . Very good experience and recommend should stay a few nights in this hotel as much more convenient . Have spent the last 4 days at this hotel enjoyed all the various activities. Many lasting memories but to mention a few seeing the northern lights, riding the husky sledge and ice fishing and of course king crab fishing. All the staff where very helpful and tried to make the stay enjoyable. The food is ok you have no choice...

We were in Kirkenes for 2 nights, and unfortunately the cabins were fully booked for 1 night, so we could only stay on our 2nd night. We booked the King Crab safari experience and 4 cabins with them for mid Dec. King Crab safari - they were supposed to pick us from Thon Hotel Kirkenes at 9.30am but somehow they...

I hate to put the boot in, however this must be the most over hyped , disappointing " hotel" I have stayed at. No entrance to room until 7 pm, no access to shower at night and average food. Felt more comfortable on a bed of nails. The luggage room was a shambles. The husky sled/king crab feast was great. However...

My husband and I spent 2 nights at the cabin at Kirkenes Snowhotel in November before the snow hotels and ice bars are built (usually mid Dec). We had a great experience - very impressed with the staff's attention to detail and enthusiasm. They went above and beyond in making sure our needs were taken care of and made great...

Snow is a gift from the sky. Cold, still, pure and beautiful. Welcome to Kirkenes Snowhotel. To a world where you sleep in snow, walk on snow and may drive a scooter or a dogsled on snow. We even serve snow in the restaurant! Our romantic Snowhotel opens December 20th., and is open until April 20th. Kirkenes Snowhotel lies secluded in the wilderness 8 km outside Kirkenes. Here 180 huskies await you. Reindeer are grazing behind our unique chalets. Under the fjord ice, the giant King crabs dwell.
