Detailed Reviews
We were given this hotel from Wowcher’s £99 mystery holiday deal and were impressed with the hotel. We flied to and from Faro airport which was a 30 minute drive. We got an uber to the hotel which came to €20, split between 2 was €10 each! When arriving the hotel at 10:00 our room wasn’t ready due to check out being at 11:00 so the receptionist showed us where the changing rooms were to freshen up and change and kept our luggage in a locked room. They had a free bus down to the marina which left at 10:30, 13:30 and 16:30. An uber to the marina is only around €4 if those times aren’t convenient. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the rooms were clean and was cleaned every day. Toiletries were provided however weren’t changed every day. They breakfast buffet was on everyday until 10:30am for €7.50. There was a snack bar besides the pool which was good prices and it included toasties, hot dogs, chips, burgers etc. We went to the restaurant one night and the food was lovely, the spaghetti bolognese was only €9. As we went at the beginning of March we weren’t able to use the pool due to the weather was warm and not hot enough. However the pool was still open. The rooms provided a kettle, microwave, toaster, hob and all crockery and cutlery. There was a spar a 10 minute walk down the road which was convenient to buy any bits for the room. Location was on a hill however as mentioned there is a free shuttle down to the marina, uber’s are cheap and the reception gives out a timetable to the bus to and from Albufeira and Faro. Wifi wasn’t free, was €3 a day or €6 for 3 days, there was a safe in the room which required a deposit however was given back.

This really is a great place to stay. The hotel comprises of apartments in a large expanse of beautifully kept grounds around a pool. It is about 3 miles out of town which equates to a very pleasant walk, a bike ride or 8 euros in a taxi.
The apartments are spacious and immaculately clean with very well equipped kitchens.
There is a bar and restaurant where you can get a good dinner. Menu of the day is 14 euros a head for 3 courses.
Breakfast is an excellent value buffet with hot and cold food at 7.50 euros a head.
The staff are friendly and helpful.
I would really recommend this hotel and i don’t play golf

We booked a trip here within 30 minutes of the travel bridge being reopened. With availability reducing and prices rising we booked a week here with very little research other than on here.
We had a lovely week, very friendly hard working staff, great value restaurant and bar and a superb pool area where in these difficult times social distancing is very easy. Our room was spotlessly clean, air conditioning worked superbly and was very comfortable. The reception can recommend a very professional taxi company who took us to the marina for €8. This was a replacement holiday for a week in Tenerife that was obviously cancelled but when things hopefully return to normal we fully intend to return here given the super week they gave us in these times. Highly recommended.

+1
Stayed here last weekend with a group of friends and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We had room 6 and room 10, both spotless, sheets were changed daily. The staff are all so kind and friendly. Food was lovely, we were served throughout our stay by Dario, a lovely man who couldn't do enough to help. Fantastic stay. Thank you.

What a lovely hotel! We stayed here at the end of August as a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). Everything was kept clean and tidy throughout around the pool, cafe and reception areas. The rooms were tidied and cleaned every day by the maids, all other staff around the hotel were very helpful too!
Our experience was a very positive one. The apartment was a very good standard for what we wanted, there was 1 bedroom and then a sofa bed in the lounge/kitchen area. The kitchen was basic but enough to make a brew/toast or something simple like pasta.
Although slightly out of town we actually enjoyed the location of this hotel. For those that want to go into town the hotel offers a free bus service 3 times per day into Vilamoura which is a bonus when it's hot. If we wanted to stay out later we sometimes used an uber which cost around 5/6euros into town.
The hotel was very quiet and you didn't have to fight for sunbeds as there was plenty for everyone!
Food was served in the small cafe/restaurant. It was basic but good enough if you don't want to cook or go into town. There is a Spar supermarket literally around the corner (0.2miles walk) which is well equipped with essentials and has a really good variety of fresh foods/bread.
Although we didn't go to lay golf the hotel is in a perfect location for golfers as it's not far from some of the famous courses.
We would definitely stay here again but I would advise that you check the location before you book. Some of the negative comments about the location do not do this place justice.

Just returned from a week's holiday here. Lovely, quiet hotel away from the busy town in a beautiful setting. The hotel is extremely well kept and the apartments are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed linen. Each apartment has it's own private balcony or terrace. Staff are very friendly and helpful and apparently multi-task from our observations!. We opted for self catering but ended up eating most days at the pool bar where there was a small selection of sandwiches/burgers served with crisps or chips. We found this quite adequate for our needs and not expensive. We had breakfast in the restaurant on our first morning and there was a selection of cooked food including full English breakfast if that is what you want or a wide selection of cereals, pastries, bread rolls and fruit plus coffee, tea and fruit juices. There is also a separate bar open in the evenings. Although there is a large swimming pool and a smaller pool that would suit children this is not the place to take young children who need entertaining all day, we considered it more suitable for adults due to it's location. A complimentary shuttle service runs from the hotel to Vilamoura Marina 3 times a day. Would definitely recommend.

There is a shuttle bus which if needed was helpful . All staff very friendly nicest staff I’ve ever met . Bars around the marina Offer good food ,will definitely return . Staff reminded guests to wear masks which was good . Will help to arrange covid tests if needed . Thank you for making our stay pleasant during these troubled times from room 505

We stayed here after reading the positive reviews, we do not normally do self catering but half board in a hotel, not any more! This place is a gem we didn’t book breakfast but just had it on a day by day basis when we wanted it which was great. Buffet style breakfast with a mixture of fruit/ cereals/ yogurt/pastries/ breads and cooked breakfast. We stayed in a studio apartment and would do the same again it had a small kitchen area which was adequate. Towels were changed daily if needed and the cleaning staff do a fantastic job as everywhere was spotless. Some people previously said there was no WiFi however there is free WiFi now and air con in the apartment. We didn’t eat in the hotel in the evening but we had lunch there which was good and the pool bar was great too. We used the shuttle bus put on three times a day by the hotel to the marina as it is quite a walk but we did do it twice as it’s flat but took us 45 minutes. We also used Uber to the marina which cost £4 cheaper than a taxi. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel and lots at the marina. We will be back again next year definitely.
I can’t find any negatives but I would say maybe there needs to be more sun beds as there wasn’t quite enough on two occasions we wanted them.

We have been visiting here for so long that we regard it as a second home. It’s such a peaceful place. The grounds around the pool are quite big, with plenty of sun beds and plenty of room to comply to social distancing.
The rooms are spotless and well equipped for self catering stays.
The staff, who we class as friends, are a credit to their manager.
Masks are worn by the staff all of the time and guests are required to wear them when walking around the hotel and grounds. When relaxing on your sun bed or having a drink or meal the mask is not required.
The hotel was not as busy as usual for this time of year, understandably, but that did not mean that there were any changes to the normal day to day operations, there was still a full menu from the snack bar and the restaurant and the bar was fully stocked. As a previous poster mentioned there was no entertainment because of the COVID restrictions but that did not stop us enjoying our stay.
There is a bus that will take you to the Marina or the beach but we didn’t feel the need to leave the hotel.
While we were there we booked to go back next year. If you want a good, restful break away from it all then I highly recommend this little gem of a place.

Our first time in Vilamoura. We booked 6 nights through the excellent Jet2. We were greeted warmly at reception and were very pleased with the apartment which was clean and very spacious for the two of us. Clever design meant privacy and three balcony/patio areas. A large bedroom led onto a balcony for the evening sun, a drying balcony had a useful pull-out airer and there was an entrance patio where we stored our hire bikes. The kitchen area was well-equipped with a kettle, microwave, two burner hob and plenty of dishes. The pool area was immaculate, as were the bar and lounges. Reception personnel were always friendly and most helpful, especially when we wanted to hire bikes. The breakfast was adequate although it was the same every day and the coffee was rather unpleasant. Covid safeguards were fully adhered to. We chose this hotel as it was not an ugly high-rise and we appreciated the restful and friendly atmosphere. We would certainly recommend a stay.
