We stayed here for the first week in October having wanted an inexpensive break in the sun. We read the reviews, hoped for the best and booked through travel republic. Firstly I have to say that our 1 bedroom apartment only cost £162 for the week so we were prepared for the worst. Our flight had been delayed so we knew that the reception would be closed on our arrival after 7pm there was a note on the door with a telephone number to ring. We were informed that someone would be with us very soon and before I had put my phone away a car pulled up and we were checked in and shown to our 1st floor apartment by a very nice man.
What a pleasant surprise we got when we went in too, a very spacious living area with table, 4 chairs, settee and arm chair, coffee table and TV. It looked clean bright and quite modern. The Kitchen had a microwave, cooker plenty of cupboard space and utensils and kettle. There was no toaster (NB we asked the next morning if we could have one and it arrived a few hours later). The bedroom had twin beds, 2 bedside tables, a chair and a large mirror. Bathroom was also ok with bath, overhead shower, bidet, handbasin, there were 4 Bath and 4 hand towels. In the hall were a cupboard with iron, ironing board, electric heater and a safe (cost was 10 euros + 20 euros refundable deposit), and a large double wardrobe with extra bedding.
We went to find the pool the next morning and yes I agree with some comments regarding this. It is obvious that this is not used a lot. It is kept locked and you pay a deposit for a weekly swipe card to enter the gate. Please note to exit there is a small white post on your left just before the gate with a button on it that has to be flicked down to release the gate, we saw several people panicking during our stay not knowing how to get out. There are a few patio table and chairs but no sunbeds. There is grassed area all around and we lay on towels to sunbathe and found it not too bad although obviously beds would have been preferable.
The apartments are not all in one block, they are in different buildings around the streets. Ours had no balcony and did not have spectacular views, but for what we paid I cannot fault it and will definately return. They are in a perfect position for the marina, and in a very quite location, it felt safe late at night too. The receptionist was a lovely lady who spoke very good English and was exremely helpful. I would definately recommend these as long as you don't expect 4* accommodation, be realistic in your expectations, for what you pay and you can't go wrong here.

Obviosuly some people have had issues with there room there and I see from the photos of some, compared to us were unlucky. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, very clean and large. Furniture was a little dated as was the kitchen although we did have a new kettle.
For a 2 bedroom apartment the balcony is extremely small, 3 people at a push sat outside. Our balcony looked out onto the road and received no sun all day (though in fairness we were never there) so wasn't a problem. Protective wall and banister around the balcony was low and If I had small children with me would be very worried about this, especially being on the 5th floor.
Saying that the bed was comfy, 2 pillows per person. Lots of spare blankets. Room as I said very clean as were the grounds. Pool looked very clean and inviting, but didn't use. Very close to the marina and plenty of restaurants and cafes. There are 3 supermarkets within 5 mins walk. Would stay there again for the convienience and closeness to the town.

We were moved here from the Rio apartments and were pleasantly surprised!
The apartment was very spacious with loads of cupboard and wardrope space which was great as we were there for 10 nights and really made it our 'home away from home.' The apartment we had was a one bedroom and was for myself my husband our son (4) and my sister and was fine for us. The tv only had english channels for an hour a day which wasnt very good as we were ther3e for a while in december/january with not very much to do after we had done everything near by about 10x. We asked at reception regarding this and were told there was nothing that the girl could do. (However on our transfer to the airport another couple who had also stayed at the apartments said she complained of the same issue - to another receptionist - and ws moved room and ended up with a large screen tv and all english channels.) As we were there early January the weather was not the best to be at the pool but we did however take a walk down and it looked nice enough. Out the way in a nice little sun trap with toilets and a grass area for sunbathing. There was a little pool there for the kids too.

Rude receptionist, old apartment, nothing working well, shower broken and terrible, no pressure.
There no A/C, washing machine broken, mattress are horrible and old.
Do not stay here, never again.
Also they charge 200 euros deposit which is not on description.

This is a fantastic apartment with a massive terrace and is very private with views of the marina. Sunshine from breakfast to sunset and, although I didn't use it, there was AC in this particular apt. The pool is beautiful and it's a great location. This is the second time I've been here, it is cheap and cheerful so don't expect top of the range as the furniture is a little old fashioned - but everything is there. Just some advice, there is no English TV so maybe next year I will pack a cheap CD player and some films. Oh and a big thank you to the lady in reception who couldn't have been more helpful.

The apartment we had was a reasonable size, it was clean, it had all the basics you would need including a small freezer. The apartment had its own combi boiler so there was always hot water. The apartments are close to the the Marina and surrounding areas (about 5 minutes walk) but far enough back that you are not disturbed by what is going on in town. They are nothing fancy but ideal if you are just looking for a base to stay. The Roman Ruins are just round the corner. There are many places close by that are worth a visit. Albufeira is about 1/2 away on the bus which costs 4 Euros per person, you can catch the bus down near the Casino. On a Wednesday there is a gypsies market in Quarteira, it is only a short busride away the best bus to catch is the urban bus which is pink and costs around 80 cents per person, and come every hour, do not get the normal buses as that cost 2 Euros 50 each, the bus to the market you catch at the stop just round the corner fro the Jaffer supermarket near the hotel. there are numerous pubs and restaurants in the town. On the Marina drinks are more expensive but most of them are very good. If you take a short walk to the back of the Marina there are a number of restaurants and a couple of pubs that are cheaper. I would recommend the New Champions bar both for it's prices (large beer 2 Euros, shots 1 Euro 50) and the fantastically friendly service. during the summer New Champions is busy but does tend to be quieter towards the end of the season but is still worth a visit. They have also started serving snack such as hot dogs, hamburgers, fries etc so if you want something light to eat it is ideal. Also worth a visit is Pao & Pao it is a patisserie who claim to have the worlds best chocolate cake and they could be right. compared to other cafes they are slightly dearer but their chocolate cake is worth a try. The Dolphin Safari offers a great morning out and the people who run it make a great effort. Another really good day trip is the jeep safari, where you go inland to the hill and local village, again it is well run and good value for money.

Well when we first got there it was early hours of the morning and there was no security to meet us so the transfer man left me and my mum and said the guy shouldn't be long, So we waited for around 20 mins and he came and checked us in but forgot to give us a key to the front door of the apartment block. The apartment itself although had a strange musty stench was okay clean and tidy with a huge balcony giving us a sea view. After a couple of days the smell went I think it was the rotting cabinet in the bathroom and all was okay until the third day when our washing machine blew the electric fuse and left us without power, We had to wait for the receptionist lady who came after 2pm ( she was lovely and polite) and switched the electric back on gave us a key for the front door (as we had to leave it wedged open when we went out and pray that we wouldn't be locked out) and also showed us were the pool was as we wasn't shown this either at check in. After this everything was fine and overall we enjoyed our holiday...... So if your the kind of person who cant handle a little unplanned improvisation and cant work with what you've got then I wouldn't suggest staying here for you although for the price it is a bargain and the view on our balcony which was the size of a room was awesome I'd stay there again just for that room and view off the balcony.

Apartments are situated at the top end of Vilamoura but if you walk through the pool area you are just 200m from the stunning marina. Rooms are basic and old but adequate not the best housekeeping ( we stayed 3 nights with no clean) we stayed on a high floor so had a sea view so it is worth requesting that! As tired as the apartments are I would stay again as they were amazing value for Vilamoura which is quite an expensive place to stay and the location is top!

I have stayed at this apartment on more than one occasion, as have my daughter, and her friends. I have also recommended it to many friends and family.

The apartment is situated a 5 mins walk from the town and the marina, and 5 more minutes walk to the beach.

The apartment itself is clean, spacious and tastefully decorated inside. The apartment block it sits in is clean and very well served.

It has a very spacious, clean and green pool area which is a delight to relax in.

On top of all this, the owner is caring and very attentive, nothing is too much trouble.

Overall, I couldn't rate this apartment highly enough, I will definitely be returning.
