We loved it here! We arrived early January and stayed until early February and we were so lucky with the weather. It is such a pretty site, gorgeous gardens and incredibly well maintained. We saw staff working away every single day on the gardens. The gardeners told us to help ourselves to orange and lemons, they were falling off the trees, so we did! The pools (there are two, one for children) were closed for renovation and are seasonal I assume (and I would not have been brave enough anyway, warm, but not that warm!) but we sat poolside drinking coffee. There is a very authentic Indian Restaurant on site, such a lovely family, and they also run the pool bar (they don't do tea as a British person would recognise it, not sure what we got but it was nice enough though they sweetly said they would 'learn more'), and a small Domed bar on the roof. There is a lovely bakery on site for coffee and wine too, and a Spar minimarket with fresh bread, usual fare and hot food etc., and at very reasonable prices indeed. We walked in to Vilamoura Marina, about 25 minutes, and we stopped and used the free exercise equipment. Buses outside to most places we wanted to go, but we used Uber to go everywhere and it was fab. Near two beaches. Plenty of free parking outside the houses. It apparently attracts a lot of golfers being near the courses, but I found it an ideal and safe site for families and couples. We WILL be going again.

Photos don't do it justice, so pretty. Very safe contained site with good facilities. Lovely newly renovated pools (adult and children), restaurant, rooftop bar (small but the outside tables are perfectly aligned to watch the beautiful sunsets), coffee shop and mini market on site. Our greatest joy was our evening walks around the site just taking in the beautiful flowers and palm trees, so relaxing and safe for the children. Gardeners always around keeping an eye on things and are so helpful and pleasant. Close to the beach and golf clubs. We long term rented a one level villa here, Villa Blue, (fabulous terrace and roof terrace) and were so sad to leave. Best of all worlds.

We just love the place! It's in a great location, a really beautiful site, and everything we need is in this 'full service' village.
We picked pomegranates and oranges on the site, which we were thrilled about. There were also quince pear trees, but we weren't sure what to do with them.
The fig trees had been stripped unfortunately (and I love figs!).
Swam in the pools on site and ate in the restaurant on site.
Pool bar is so romantic for late night cocktails.
We went in to Vilamoura Marina, to Quarteria and Loule markets, and Albufeira beach. We swam at Olhos do Agua, and sunbathed around the pool - but really we just wanted to sit on our terrace, drink wine, and enjoy the peace of Aldeia. The way this Trip Advisor page is set up is odd, this is not a hotel site, but a touristic village of unique houses in a garden setting.

Here goes! We first visited same time last year, and my husband and I fell in love with the place. We woke this morning to the sound of birdsong, drank freshly squeezed juice on our terrace under an arch of bougainvillea, and then walked 100 yards to the pool which was a perfect temperature. We had coffee at the pool bar and planned our day. The location is idyllic, close to beaches and all we need, but in an incredible garden setting. My son and daughter both visited last year with the grandkids, on our recommendation, (my son loves golfing, the kids the water parks and beach, and it's handy for everything) and, thankfully, absolutely loved it. If you want peace, safety, a beautiful garden environment - but close to everything - then you couldn't choose a better place. We are planning a family get together here next year and we can't wait. The villas are all slightly different, we stayed in a one level house (with terrace and roof terrace) first time, and a two storey house (with a brilliant turreted staircase to the roof) second time, and loved them both.

We had a fabulous stay here in February, on recommendation. It reached 24 degrees! Site is incredibly pretty, well maintained and has plenty of facilities, restaurant/bar, cafe/pastry shop and a well stocked Spar. The tourist train stops outside, but we were out of season. Same with the pool(s), they were being renovated when we were there. Buses outside go to Quarteria and Albufeira, amongst other places. We walked to Vilamoura Marina. It took us 20 mins but seemed shorter as it is a pretty palm lined grassy walk, and there are free exercise machines along the length. Runners track too. Browns gym and spa around the corner (pay as you go). It's right by two golf courses. Quiet but close to the beaches and heart of Vilamoura. Best of all worlds!

A well kept garden oasis. Very close to beaches and amenities, but a week in to our holiday I badly sprained my ankle. The site had everything we needed here, Spar (huge wine selection, thankfully), restaurant, coffee /takeaway shop, swimming pools, so staying mainly on site for the second week didn't spoil our holiday, quite the opposite. It forced us to slow down instead of trying to 'do it all', appreciate our surroundings and take the time to just relax, read, talk, drink great wine (at a great price) and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. All the things we never seem to do in our rush to 'see it all' in the 13 days we had in the Algarve. Lesson learned. We were sad to leave and both agreed that, ironically, what we thought was a holiday spoiling injury turned out to be just the opposite. We left the most chilled we have ever been and we can't wait to return to our little oasis.

We loved this site. It's like a pretty whitewashed village in holiday photos. The weather wasn't good some days, warm but wet, and when it rained it was pretty torrential - quite fascinating to watch as palm leaves and bark went sailing past! We only had one day, and night, of really heavy rain and high winds and one where it rained heavily all night but the morning brought sun, and to be fair it was lovely and sunny most days. Some lovely beach days, when it was around 21 degrees+ and pleasant enough. Some brave souls swam, we didn't. We were lucky the site has everything (quite a few people live permanently here) on it so even when the weather wasn't very good, we could eat/drink on site and had a few nice cocktails overlooking the pool. We were told quite a few businesses take February as their holiday time but there was plenty open, so that wasn't a problem. Near everything (loads of golfers descended on our last day as it's by a famous course apparently). Highly recommended.

What a perfect place. Gorgeous house, gorgeous site, great location. Kids (teens) went one way (water parks) we went the other way, (beach and bars). All close. Handy for buses but we ubered everywhere and walked to the beach. Great little Spar market and coffee shop on site (didn't try restaurant but had quite a few cocktails around the pool). Would we go again? Yep! Booked!

We've been before and will be coming again (and again!). Has peace, quiet, but lots to do close by if you want. We just wanted to chill, beach walk, eat, drink and doze after a hectic few months. Did the trick - we felt refreshed, relaxed and can't wait to return to this oasis.

My family and I (2 adults and 2 kids aged 9 and 7) have just had a lovely 5 night stay at Aldeia do Golfe, in Vilamoura.
For the price of the accommodation we were very pleasantly surprised we opted for a 2 bed superior house, and found this very spacious and ideal for our needs. The kitchen was very well equipped and the place throughout was lovely decor and very clean.
The pool was immaculately clean every day, (although there is a lack of furniture or sun beds around the pool) and the gardens are beautifully maintained. The on site shop is well stocked and a nice coffee bar too which was very cheap, and had lovely staff who also spoke English very well.
The location itself is spot on, only a 5 minute drive to the marina, and 2 minutes from the main road to take you further along the coast to Albufeira etc. The only noise we could hear was the odd car, and plane overhead - but certainly not loud enough to be an inconvenience.
The only criticisms I have was the lack of wifi - my husband and I needed to do a small amount of work and needed to check emails etc, Despite being advertised with wifi the connection was non-existent, even after checking with reception that everything was OK nothing improved. We eventually travelled to the Vodafone shop in the Algarve shopping centre and bought a pay as you go wifi stick. Naturally if we had known sooner of the lack of wifi on site we would have prepared accordingly in advance. Although we did find out that some bars around the marina and mcdonalds provided free wifi.
We were also a little disappointed that we were unable to pay for our accommodation by credit card, the machine that the reception had either needed updating or wasn't working properly, so after a long journey we had to travel into the marina to find a cash point so we could pay. Although the lady on reception was very nice and kindly gave us the keys beforehand so we could at least empty the car of our luggage etc.
But all in all, a great 5 days and I would definitely book to go there again.
