6 guys in a superior 3 bedroom Villa. Each bedroom had two large single beds plus a great en suite shower room. Basic kitchen area but reasonably stocked with equipment. Could do with some extra comfy seating but not sure where it would fit! Spent most of the time sat on patio and Sun loungers need a proper clean or replacing. Food was on a package for the walking football tournament and was of a mixed quality. Swimming pool cold!! And again Sun loungers need replacing. Needs a taxi to get to the marina, use Uber. Lots of sports facilities available. Bar was of a reasonable price and great staff. We’ll be back.

We were enjoying the laziest holiday ever staying on Aldeia Do Golf (gorgeous site by the way) and walked here for a change. We didn't want to do anything sporty (it was a lazy holiday as I said, eating and drinking and some walking was as tough as it got) but they have a really good system. Instead of having to join you can buy credits, so if you are on holiday you can enjoy the very impressive facilities reasonably. As it was, we just ate and drank there, talked to the very friendly locals and expats, and very good it was too.

We came here for food as our villa was near to the resort. The waiter was very attentive and helpful, the menu is basic however, I found the food enjoyable and would happily go back. Prices are really reasonable, particularly for Vilamoura…..

I go here a lot usually 2 or 3 times a year. Accommodation is great and I start to relax as soon as I open the door. Unlike at home, I get into the gym most days for a couple of hours. Sunbathing by the pool, and swimming in it, are a delight even though the beach is only 5 minutes away by car. The bar/restaurant serve excellent coffee and the evening menu always has delicious fish. Dimitri on the bar has recommended some great wines with Autores white being the latest top choice (January 2020). I often go on my own to try to get some exercise done before my wife joins me and I feel perfectly comfortable being on my own. Rugby and football on the bar TV most nights. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. All rooms have cooking facilities so you can eat cheaply when required. Staff are really friendly. The rugby/football pitches are inspirational and make me wish I was still playing. I will keep coming back.

We had to move out of our home (near the resort) for two weeks and, as we are already members, decided to stay in one of the bungalows. The sports facilities at Browns are fantastic; the gym, tennis and squash courts and all the classes with excellent, professional instructors are of a very high standard. Our self-catering accommodation was really comfortable and cleaned to perfection. We were told we could borrow any extra kitchen items although didn’t need to. The sports bar is well-stocked and the food very tasty and pretty good value, especially for the daily specials. Finally, all the staff at Browns are brilliant, helpful and friendly; from groundsmen, receptionists, managers and cleaners to bar/restaurant staff and sports trainers. We had a really enjoyable stay!

Breakfast was great. Good amount of Hot and Cold choices.
Clean Single Bedroom Apartment had everything we needed and more. Kitchen was nice and shower was amazing.
Location was perfect. 10-20min drive to various supermarkets, shopping centers, Marinas etc
Facilities were incredible. Football/soccer pitch, Rugby pitch, tennis/ basketball court, gym, Jacuzzi, indoor and outdoor pool all accessible for our leisure, equipment offered for free or at a very small price to rent.
Sports Pub was great, showed various sports events live to watch.
Staff were beyond helpful and spoke various languages
I would definitely be staying here again when I return to Vilamoura.

Only stayed here for about 5 hours as we had to leave our accommodation at 10 and flight at 21:00, so we decided to use the day pass At browns so as not to spend hours in cafes and bars before leaving . So glad we did .. we visited the resort days before to take a look and found the staff very helpful . The resort filled our every needs and more . We were able to leave our cases in a secure location , use the pool area and play ground for kids . Also available are indoor pool and sauna and a great bar which serves nice food again with friendly staff .. we were able to shower and prepare for our journey home fresh rather than being tired and the day drag on for hours .. If you have a similar situation where you have to check out of a private villa early and your flight is not till late I would highly recommend this resort . The icing on the cake was where the girl from reception carried my suit case up some stairs to help, against my instruction .. Although I haven’t stayed for a full holiday here, on the basis of my day here I would .

I wasn’t expecting Much, so wasn’t disappointed. Feels like a hall of residence.
Was sharing a double studio apartment - tiny kitchenette/diner ( no soft furnishings just dining table and hard bench like seat) with 2 ensuite rooms and separate entrances. Bedroom and bathroom ok and clean. Few damp patches so wouldn’t want to be here over the real winter.
Was here for husband’s walking football and sports facilities seem good and well maintained but bar/restaurant mediocre at best.
Good if you are involved in the sport or are a sports fanatic but if not give it a miss, doesn’t cater for trailing spouses and no bus service so at mercy of taxis. The nearest restaurants 30min walk. Good little supermarket 15 min walk but kitchenette limits what can do as tiny and lacking a few essential tools
All in all if you’re not at all bothered about basic creature comforts, good food and only want to play football/tennis/workout then ok otherwise give it a miss.
If you come with a non sports loving partner do them a favour - Stay elsewhere and just come for trining and tournament -

I spent a week at Vila Moura with family having traveled from Australia. My usual routine is to do 3-4 gym workouts each week and there wasn’t much information about fitness centres in VilaMoura. Fortunately with a little help from Google Maps I found Browns and walked there (25 mins from Tennis Villas).
It’s an attractive walk up past the golf course and the Staff, in particular the delightful lady in Reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful ( particularly for an Aussie who speaks no Portuguese 😊).
I visited four times, had access to the gym, inside and outside pool and change rooms for 20Euros per visit or week at 70Euros.
It’s a well equipped gym and my wife joined me one day and relaxed by the pool and had coffee in the cafe. A great find that really helped to make this a pleasant and healthy visit.

Spent a week in this sports resort with my daughters 10/10 and my wife. We enjoyed our stay a lot. We played almost every day 2 hours of tennis on one of their hard courts, or played football on the artificial grass pitch. Each evening we relaxed a couple of hours in the indoor pool and sauna. You need a car due to the distances, but at least you can park it next to your apartment. We had breakfast included served in the sport bar. You can have lunch and dinner also there. Prices are moderate. Overall very good value for the price paid.
