Pinhal da Marina Apartments are 15 min walk to the Marina and the 2 sandy beaches either side of the Marina. All apartments (from studio to 3 bedroom) are furnished with AC in the living room, heater in the bedrooms, cable tv and safety deposit box (free). Kitchen's are equipped with cooker's, micro wave, oven (on request), toaster, tea-coffee facility's and cooking utensils. You can sit at spacious veranda's overlooking the gardens or swimming pools. Pinhal da Marina host's 2 large outdoor swimming pool's, child's paddling pool, playground, restaurant/bar, tennis court, petanque and football / basketball area's. Pinmar restaurant is located at Pinhal da Marina by the main pool serving meals a la carte, half or full board. All day snacks and drinks are available. Continental breakfast is served daily from 7 to 10 am (extra cost). Pinhal da Marina is a great place for family holiday, winter stays and selfcatering holidays. Wifi free of charge in the common areas (restaurante and reception) and apartaments.

So we visited Portugal for the first time for 3 nights to celebrate my sisters birthday, just the 3 of us. I had emailed ahead of the visit to see if they could add a little something special in the room as a surprise when we walked in, they didn’t disappoint, there was a lovely fruit bowl and bottle of wine waiting which was very nice.
The rooms themselves are large, we stayed in a 1 bed pool view room in block 62, it overlooked the main pool and the balcony is huge! The air con is great, it was just a little stuffy in the bedroom but if u leave the air con on all day with the bedroom door open it helps for sure.
Everywhere was very clean and the receptionist was lovely and friendly, the cleaners constantly cleaning The sun beds when people left, the poolside restaurant was nice, we only ate there once, we had pizzas and I have to say it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had! So fresh and tasty. We walked to vilamoura the first day as it wasn’t too hot and it was about a 15 min down hill walk. We used Uber a lot on our visit, it was only €3 euros per trip to the marina and back. Portugal is a beautiful place and can’t wait to visit again

We had a 1 bedroom studio with pool view and a lovely view it was too. The studio was massive, well equipped, spotlessly maintained with little extras that other places don't usually supply ( washing up liquid, shower gel, dish cloth, T towel). The wall mounted hair drier broke, I reported it, went to the shops and it was fixed before I even got back. No deposit asked for for safe and we didn't need air- con in October. The pool man was cleaning and testing them every day. No problem with sunbeds and even two on each balcony. There was a large bottle of water on arrival, we used ready mix coffee / milk sachets to make a brew, large mugs supplied in studio. There are no local shops, so you may need to take a snack if arriving late. Uber to supermarket was around 2.5 Euros big Lidl about 5 euros each way. Walk to marina was do able, however being less able, we chose the Uber again about 2.5 - 3 euros a trip. Staff could not have been more helpful, they printed off our passenger locator forms for us too. Glad we stayed here rather than in town center, Quiet residential area.

The guest pictures we saw here on Trip Advisor before arriving do not do Pinhal da Marina justice. We have such a great appartment, spacious, clean, great situated in front of the pool.
The staff is very kind and the food is great too. There is a daily lunch Plate of the day for €7,50 including a drink. The pool area is great for kids too, we have a 2 year old daughters and she adores the pool. There is also a playground which makes it a perfect place for her.
You can choose to walk to the Marina and/or beach (20 mins) , but an Uber can pick you up in litteraly 2 mins and take you there for approx 4€
The wifi here is excellent. You have your own router in your appartment which gives a perfect connection (we brought our Apple tv and works great!)

The location I thought was good if your mobile enough. Short walk to a well stocked spar, and about 20 mins walk to the marina area. Taxi are very cheap but better to use Uber not via reception as over priced. 3 euros in a Uber to old village which is super pretty nice bars and restaurants. The Pinhal de marina has lovely large apartments / studios - very well equipped with all utensils you could need , dish washer , iron & ironing board. Very clean all round and towels / bedding bright white and changed regular. The place is lovely but we were disappointed that during our whole stay the restaurant was fully booked every evening as they had 90 students booked in on half board basis. The pool bar is very over priced 6 euros for a beer - more expensive than in the actual marina. Lunch menu was also disappointing- more of an evening menu and again highly priced for what it was. The staff here are ovens from reception to waiting staff to cleaners always smiling, polite and helpful. I would stay here again but feel it could be improved with issues I raised. The pool area, kids play areas were lovely and very well maintained. Such a peaceful place to stay.

My friend and I were looking for a Vilamoura holiday. This hotel/apartment complex was the perfect location to enjoy the calm relaxing daytimes and the buzz of the local marina in the evenings. Rooms were a good size, clean and had everything you could want ( hairdryer and corkscrew). Maid service during the week was thorough. There are Two lovely pool areas one with childrens play area an shallow pool and the other quieter pool. Pool bar/ Resturant was good value but the staff were put under a little pressure when stock was running low at times. They did a good job under the circumstances. The local spar supermarket is a 10 min walk but is not the best option around we used another one a bit further out as it had more choice but you can get the basics at spar. The walk to the marina is simple and took us 20 mins strolling. There is local cab company to call If you didn’t want to walk and on average 4€. We also used Ubers with similar prices too. Always felt safe whether walking or cabbing. I will definitely return here, can’t wait. Thank you to all the staff for the smooth running of this hotel and making it a very enjoyable experience.

We arrived early at these apartments 10am .A very pleasant man called Moses checked us in took us to our apartment and carried my case .we were in an upper floor studio with large balcony facing the pool the apartment was large and well equipped with everything to make a breakfast lunch.The cleaning lady kept the apartment emaculate.There was2 sunloungers on the balcony which had the sun from about midday till it went down.The grounds are well kept. We used the smaller of the pools which was quiet.It was about 15 mins walk to the marina we ate in the restaurants behind here in the little squares as it was cheaper. We walked to Quarteira beach and used bars and restaurants there we also walked to the other beach on the far side of the marina about half hour walk. Would mention that these apartments are on the flight path and start quite early Also there was building work going on behind our apartments which you could hear when they first started around 8am. We had a lovely holiday and would return.

Just returned from Pinhal da Marina and felt like it needed a review as we had such a fab time. Family of 4. Rooms are so spacious and have everything you need on a self catering base. The rooms were spotless, beds made for us everyday clean towels (soft white and fluffy may I add) the cleanliness was 10/10 even the grounds of the apartments were spotless. We didn’t really have a problem with sunbed our first week maybe some people being too greedy with beds but it’s to be expected in the mid of the summer our second week was no trouble. We sorted our own trips out to the water park and a boat trip to the Benagil Caves which were both amazing we used “ Get your guide” great for discounts. A 20min walk to the marina which is fab so many bars and wonderful restaurants not one bad meal we ate out every night and even a few lunches back off the marina. 10/15min walk to the local supermarket and Spar for your essentials, the hotel would definitely benefit from alittle shop on site. Food on site was also great, A very relaxing holiday at the Pinhal da Marina. Thank you Jet2 yet again giving us great service and travel.

So good we have already booked to go again next year. We stayed in the block overlooking the quite pool, we had an upper floor room which had a lovely view of the pool and the sea in the distance. The room was really well equipped and we loved the fact that the balcony was huge and got the sun from midday and had sun loungers. The safe and aircon was also included in the price of the holiday (we tend to go to Greece and usually have to pay extra so this was a lovely surprise). The gardens and resort are really well kept, the pools were cleaned every day. The walk to the Marina took about 15 mins and if you didn't feel like walking back Ubers are really reasonable about 3/4 euros. I love running and I felt very safe, running around the Marina and along the beech every morning it was beautiful. There are loads of places to eat (I am vegetarian) around the Marina and we were really lucky on our last day to sit watching the fish jumping out the water while the sun went down. Me and my husband would definitely recommend Pinhal da Marina hence why as soon as we got home we re-booked for next year.

These apartments are a little out of the way. But the complex is great. We had a large 2 bedroom apartment - at the back of the complex. So no view, but VERY quiet. The apartment has a hallway, large kitchen, large living room, large patio with table and chairs and sunloungers, two good sized bedrooms and a bathroom. Fridge with separate top 1/3 freezer. Toaster, pots and pans, dishwasher, ironing board and iron. Just great There are two pool areas and both are well kept. Poolside toilets are kept spotless, staff are friendly. We had a hairdryer blow up on us and within ten minutes of reporting it, we had a new one. Walk is about 20minutes downhill to the marina or about 6 euro in an Uber No entertainment, but if you want a clean spacious base this place is for you I would definitely go back. I was with friends and no children. Definitely too quiet for teenage kids.

We spent two weeks at Pinhal da Marina, Vilamoura. The resort has a tranquil setting with beautiful gardens, two swimming pools and a restaurant. The staff are charming and very helpful; especially Francisco and colleagues in the restaurant, where we eat every day. The menu was good and had additional dishes of the day.
Our apartment was extensive and was very well equipped for self catering. The location on the ground floor overlooking the pool was ideal.
Overall the hotel was well maintained and very clean. The location was a 20 minute walk to the nearest beach and the marina, where there are many restaurants.
This resort is ideal for families and people who like a peaceful holiday in a tranquil residential area on the slopes behind the marina and beaches.

Yes I would say so, we didn’t watch the telly ad it was mostly Spanish speaking channels and the English ones had subtitles, we were out a lot. But I’m sure the telly had ports for fire stick or bring a HDMI cable if in doubt. Hope this helps and enjoy, it’s a lovely place
