We did a 4 night stay here
Pros:
Large, well equipped apartment
The receptionist was polite and helpful
Our one bed apartment had 2 bathrooms
Cons:
There is considerable building work on a neibouring building. It is loud every day except Sunday.
It is quite remote, 10 minutes to supermarket and local bars. 30 minutes walk to marina.
There is nowhere on site to buy water.
No maid service if there for less than a week,so emptied our own bins daily
Bedding only changed if there for 10 days or more!
Check in is at 17.00, check out 11.00 or charged another day.
You have to pay a 300€ deposit which Easyjet never warned us of
As the apartments are all privately owned, there is a variation on the standard of decoration and furnishings. I was concerned that having paid the deposit, there were quite a few things that were tired in our apartment. Heat stain on dining table, cracks on fridge freezer handles, towel rail kept falling off wall, tap operation for the shower didn't work properly , both air con units didn't work at all. We reported the air con as we left as we only needed it on our last evening.

Overall, fine for what we needed for our four night stay as we were meeting with family for 2 of those days

Lovely 2 bed, 2 bath apartment. Lots of room for a family of four. 2 balconies, 1 with a table, chairs & umbrella, the other had a clothes horse for drying clothes.
We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, had to ring for someone to meet us.
There is a €300 deposit required when staying here!!!! We were not informed of this at any stage!
The lady gave us the keys and directions to the apartment & left us to it. Neither of the toilets in the apartments were working. We tried ringing the previous contact number but only got a voice message in Portuguese. Called to the reception on Monday. Apparently they were aware of the toilet issue and were waiting on a part and thought the weekend staff had advised us of this. They took copies of our passports & I asked what would be the protocol for checkout (basically drop the keys in the letter box since we would be leaving early Sunday morning). Our stay was pleasant. The apartment had aircon in both bedrooms and the living room. The pool area was well kept and tidy. The square in between the apartment blocks could do with some repairs as some of the floor tiles were broken. But overall we enjoyed our stay here. Just waiting now for our deposit to be returned 😔

What a wonderful, sweet place to stay. We were a business group staying in both 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. Both types were huge, some of the biggest we have ever stayed in. Lovely, clean and neutral decor with fantastic balconies. Pool area very clean and although quiet for the time of year we imagine even in summer it would still be very peaceful.

Just 3.50 for a Uber to the amazing marina but also within 10 minutes walking distance to a local Spar and numerous bars and restaurants. Our favourites were Graces restaurant and Parky's Bar along with Sailors Corner next to the Spar. Whilst no breakfast is offered onsite you have VilaFlor breakfast cafe 2 mins down the road. One of the best English breakfasts we have ever had abroad. The little tourist train stops down the road and for 6 Euros for adults will take you on a lovely hop-on hop-off tour of Vilamoura.

For the prices we paid we would definitely stay again and can highly recommend Eden Village for couples, families and golfers, very impressed!

Nice apartment with everything you need.
Pool area was very well kept .
Only 3 stars because I was told a deposit of £200 would be taken but they took £258
It took five days to get the deposit back and they only paid £243 .
The reception is also never open.

Because we arrived 10 minutes late, we had to pay €20 for late check-in.
This has left a negative mark on my stay.
A deposit of €300 was also never indicated in advance.
The bed (very narrow) was covered with plastic foil, which made a night's sleep impossible (we removed this ourselves).
The apartment was very boring (not) decorated.
When we left, there was no one to return the deposit, so we just had to trust that we would get it back (which fortunately turned out well).
Everything else was positive

We booked these apts because our usual accommodation was unavailable. The two bed apt was spacious for the two of us, very clean, and well maintained. The complex is rather far from the center of Vilamoura but if you like walking ( we do ) then this will not be a problem. The kitchen is very well equipped for self catering with fridge freezer, microwave, gas 4 ring hob and dishwasher. There were two balcony's......one off the living room and the other off one of the bedrooms. Air conditioning is provided in the living area and bedrooms. We had the benefit of two bathrooms with a shower in each. the furnishings are very basic and utilitarian and the beds were the most uncomfortable I have experienced in the 7 years I have been traveling to Vilamoura. There was an ancient television provided which had only one English speaking channel .....BBC world news.....very disappointing. The reception area is seldom open ( even during the hours posted on the door ) and you need to phone for queries. Overall I found the complex itself basic and lacking in atmosphere during the 18 days we spent there, so perhaps a short visit would be better. Would I stay there again .....most unlikely. Overall this was not one of the better complexes in which we have stayed but a few days here would probably be OK.

Very well maintained and clean. Has a lift. This is just apartments so no bar or entertainments. Has a pool. Infant pool was not clean and not useable. May was cold. Nice walk to the main marina part. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Some of the apartments are privately owned. No safes in rooms but the doors are the strongest I have ever seen. Metal frames/reinforced doors with shoot bolts and triple locking with night latch. Shutters on doors in rooms. They cant break in. Only by key!! Gated entrance for cars and you get a key fob/key for gate.
Nice restaurant up the road/take the road opposite the entrance and walk down/ keep right then left behind the block of flats. Called tee times. There is a pizza place and Parkys bar. Not the Marina rip off prices.
Enjoyed the stay. Bus stop just up the road/train bus is 3 euro to town/taxi is around 5/7 euros.
Great Breakfast served at Tee Times as well as Lunch.
If your coming into this complex from the airport in the evening then get the basic essentials on the way/ milk/bread/tea. The taxi will stop on route at a supermarket or you will be stuck as no shops nearby/ 20 min walk.
Taxi from Faro airport was 50 Euros return via yellow fish transfers/ book on line and get a meet and greet at airport.
Pack your lunch/meal before you depart back home. Sandwich is 5-7 Euros at airport. Water is 2 euros for a small bottle. 4 euros for evain. Airport is very overpriced and basic. Get duty free elsewhere.

Very well equipped apartment. Quiet , clean and tidy complex. Sandra at reception was very kind and helpful.
My husband has mobility issues and the complex is wheelchair accessible.
The complex is quite far out of vilamoura so we used taxis(€6-8) to get to the marina. The nearest shop is 10 minutes walk away so thankfully we brought some food with us as we arrived late on saturday night.
Vilamoura itself is excellent for wheelchair users, accessible pavements, restaurants and shops have ramps and disabled toilets are available

As a family we have stayed here a few times now. Lovely complex, great apartments that are fully equipped with all you need to have a relaxing stay.

Sandra on reception is the glue that holds the place together and keeps people returning. Sandra is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble, leaves you feeling like you've made a friend for life.

Nice little coffee/ice cream/ snack bar that also serves drinks such as beer and wine should you want it run by a lovely couple that live on the complex.

Easy walking distance to shops and local restaurants but also within walking distance of the marina approx. 10/15 mins. Mix of private and holiday let apartments.

11 of us and two kids stayed here for a week. Nice apartments lovely swimming pool area with a shack that we could buy toasties, chips, ice cream, and drink from during the day at very cheap prices. Very friendly staff, manager was very helpful.
Nice place to stay. Make sure when you land that you ring ahead so you can get in to your apartment though.
