Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Nice apartment complex. Each apartment has everything you may need.
Has a great location the Marina (5min by foot), the beach (10 min by foot). If you want to spend some money, the Marina has loads of restaurants and bars. If you want to save some food money, there is a Burguer King and a local supermarket just around the corner.
The rooms let a lot of light in, so if you need absolute darkness to sleep, better go early to bed. Or buy some eye mask.
One thing I really have to highlight is the staff, really helpful and always available. Excellent cleaning service.

Went to Vilamoura during the past weekend, as a getaway from the the big Lisboa. Perfect spot to rest and get energies back for the rest of the weekdays. Choose Mouraliz to stay during my weekend and it was great. The staff is amazing, Ricarda and Ana are extremely kind and helpful during the check-in and check-out, very good hosts. A special thanks to Ana for being available and helping during her off-day. The apartment itself was very modern and with all needed for nice resting weekend. The cleaning staff left everything spotless. I certainly come back to Mouraliz, highly recommended.

No balcony/outdoor space. Be careful of the pictures shown.
The apartment was located on the first floor with no outdoor space, no balcony or terrace as shown. The pictures advertised showed patio doors from the bedroom and living rooms. They also showed terraces and gardens. When I addressed this with the receptionist she was rude and unhelpful and said the pictures were for all apartments. I showed her the pictures from the website. The pictures have since been changed. The swimming pool is down the street and not part of the complex as the pictures show.

The price of the first floor apartment is lower than the apartment on the ground floor, precisely because it has no balcony, terraces or private garden. we arrived here at 3pm and reception was closed, so after 30 mins someone arrived to let us in to our apartment. The apartment was nice clean and spacious, we then went exploring and when we returned the door would not open, we contacted reception who came to look we were then told it would take 30 mins plus as they needed a maintenance person to get us in at this point I told them it was not acceptable as I was tired and wanted to lie down so they agreed to give us another apartment whilst we waited to get into ours. This room was also ok until we went to bed I woke to flea bites by the time we left I had 15 bites, we located the fleas on the sofa, We were given no apology for the hour wait to get into our room or when we told them the other room had fleas they said it was mosqito bites Dr confirmed they were flea bites on my return to Britain. so be warned if you stay here on the plus its only a 5 mins walk to the center.

We booked this hotel a few weeks before we were due to go , we originally booked a hotel but swooped as we wanted to be close to Villamora Marina , so after reading all the reviews we booked
We arrived at 10.30am and was advise check in was 3pm , that’s fine that is standard in many European hotels and apartments , we left out cases behind reception and was told if our room ready early we could check in - at 130pm we were advised our apartment was ready That was great
The Apartment - we were on the first floor a one bedroom with kitchen , shower room , lounge , no balcony which we knew as it’s on the website ( some rooms have small gardens but you pay more )
The air con was good felt very cool even st night
The apartment was very basic
The toilet which had a sink and shower in it was small and had no ventilation and I mean no window , shower was really good and powerful
Towels very rough and if your there for 7 nights a property management service comes in changes your bed sheets and towels but they do not clean your room at all that’s up to you all week to clean and wash up etc and empty your rubbish outside in the big bin facing your apartments
There is a microwave, cooker and fridge we did not use any of these
There is a Waldrobe but again we kept our clothes in our case the whole time
The swimming pool - you need a member of staff from reception to let you into the pool I think it’s privately owned as some residents of the area were there telling us they use it too which is fine by us
Only 6 sun loungers sadly they see mostly broken as were the 2 unberella’s
The pool is a good size and nice grass in that area the pool is about 2 min walk from your apartments across the road
The apartments are 5 min walk from the marina , restaurants and nightlife so excellent location
Staff at reception very nice to us but they only are there till 5pm then no one there till next day
We made the best of our holiday had a fantastic time in Villamora
Sadly we would not stay here again my concern is there are metal bars on the bedroom windows from top to bottom We were on the first floor facing the apartment garden , I am not sure why this is ( see photo) they are secured
Aside from that it’s a place to lay your head whilst in this beautiful country with such lovely people

DO NOT STAY HERE! The photos online are very deceptive. I upgraded to the 1 bedroom apartment with two terraces and a garden which was an extra 300 euro. It was not worth it. The garden was unkept full of overgrown weeds and dirt and stones. It was not useable. The terrace fencing was completely rusted, all of the outdoor furnisher was filthy. The apartment itself was infested with ants and flies. The coffee machine was broken and the sofa bed was broken. As for the pool area. The pool has missing and chipped tiles and as a result has some jagged edges. The management company don't provide sun beds for the pool area until June 15th which they fail to mention anywhere in the booking so we only found this out when we arrived and read it in the guidelines. This ended up costing us extra money because we had to pay for bed at the beach each day. As if all of the above isn't bad, on two separate occasions two different men entered our apartment without prior warning or consent. One of them was working for the company but just walked straight in on us without checking if we were in first and the other man didn't have a uniform and just apologised and ran away. We don't know how or why they had key cards to our apartment so we felt very uneasy about leaving our personal belongings there. I tried to contact the property management company twice regarding the above issues and requested a call back and no one has made any effort to get in contact with me!

Great location, well furnished, very clean, daily maid service. Reception couldn’t do enough (Ang). Made out stay really good. Recommend a garden apartment as nice and sunny. Everything you need for a great base to explore Vilamoura. Will be back x

Apartment was very clean. Basic but well equipped for our short stay. Bed was comfortable. Location was good....very close to the marina. Staff were friendly on check in and supplied us with clean towels on request.
Pool was nice but across the road and had no seats or shade.

I wouldnt normally review a cheapy apartment block but this is necessary. 2 females travelling, we booked through Low Cost Holidays to enable us to get a 5 night break. Our transfer bus dropped us of (on our own) and the driver pointed to the building which was supposed to be Mouraliz apartments. He drove off, it wasnt Mouraliz. We walked further down the road, no sign, back to the top and round the other side, couldnt see it and had no idea where were were as we had not been to Villamoura before. My friend called the agent and requested she helped us find out where the apartments were, less than useless Im afraid. Asked a taxi driver to take us there, it was literally round the corner a bit further than where we had already walked (like 3 blocks behind the building we were told originally by the driver). Then there was no one there as we arrived at 9pm ish. Called the number on the door, no answer. Then by luck, a couple walked past and told us we needed to go to the Garvatur (real esttate) office up the road - where the bus dropped us off! This was whilst we were dragging suitcases from pillar to post. Met another couple there who was just calling someone, who was coming to bring the keys. 25mins later he arrived and took us back down to Mouraliz. Phew. I was concerned we were set up for a night on the pavement. Apartment was spacious and clean and equiped with microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. 2 mins walk to the marina, 15 mins walk to beach. Villamoura itself is gorgeous. Classy bars and restaurants and a couple of rowdy bars. Woudl definately recommend The 19th Hole down by the Tivoli hotel. Live band most nights, great atmosphere and drinkss were not expensive. In the marina bars they can be a little overpriced. The Mayflower Restaurant was the best to eat in, but everyone knows it so it is very busy, and higher priced than some others but worth it. Other restaurants still good. had pizza, pasta, wine, bubbles.. The beach is totally amazing but if you want a sunbed, be prepared to pay 17 euros for 2 sunbeds for the day. Extortionate!!! Hardly anyone on the sunbeds - not surprised! Check out was easier. As long as you are prepared with the tel number and know excactly where to go for late check in, i would recommend this for a cheap stay in a classy place. However, we would have welcomed some air con as the nights were unbearabley sweaty!! Even with the doors and windows open! Villamoura 10/10. Mouraliz apartments 7/10

This is the first time we have stayed at these apartments, and after reading the reviews, was a bit worried. NO NEED TO WORRY AT ALL.......These are really lovely apartments, in an EXCELLENT location!!! There is everything on your doorstep!! Supermarket is 3 mins walk, Marina is 3mins walk other way. Lovely Restaurants 2mins away, bars 2mins away and the beach is about 10-15mins walk depending on which side of the Marina you like to use.
We were lucky enough to get the ground floor apartment, that had 2 balconies and a small grassed private garden. (I did request this) The apartments are VERY safe and the doors and windows are very secure with well fitted modern sliding doors and shutters.
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge and small freezer compartment, 2 ring hob, microwave, Kettle, Toaster and even a blender! There are plenty of pots and pans too, plus a frying pan, which is very rare on hols abroad.
In the bedroom wardrobe there was also an iron and ironing board, heater and plenty of spare blankets.
The apartments are very clean, well maintained and quite modern, airy and spacious.
I would defo go back, in fact I plan on going back next March with lots of friends!!
As we arrived about midnight I was rather worried about getting the key,....but worry not!! Just let them know you will be arriving late, they will give you the emergency number (00351-9685-77123) you need to call this when you arrive at tha airport and they will make sure there is someone to meet you with the key.....EASY!!
We used Suntransfers for our airport transfers, and they are EXCELLENT and lots cheaper than any others. We have used these on 2 other trips too.
The pool is just across the road, and looked very nice but we did not use it on this holiday. You need to buy a key card for €20 that you get back when you return it.

Good afternoon, Our 24 Apartments have 1 bedroom (2 beds), and some of them have also 1 sofá bed in the living room for 2 more people (and some of these (8) have a private garden and outdoor dining space).
