The pool area is very clean and safe, you can also enjoy a nice meal at the on site restaurant. Honorio apartments are situated in the golden triangle of Algarve. You have a choice of many nearby golf courses such as Vila Sol, Laguna, Old Course Vilamoura, Vale Do Lobo and many more. If you are traveling with your family, the aqua park is less than 3km away and is the biggest in Europe. Should you prefer a relaxing day, you can take a boat trip around the coast, this can be booked at the Honorio reception. Fishing trips are also available.

Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We are just returning from our break at the Honorio apartments. They have a lovely pool and two very good bars. One by the pool and one just outside the pool area. The staff are very helpful and welcoming and the front of house is manned by the owner who is a very nice fellow. They have a large TV screen at the end of the pool for watching sport if the mood takes you. The food available here for lunch, or evening meal is of a very good standard. Particularly the Sardines. The drinks a beer or a glass of wine in our case is are 3Euros each, which is good value considering the climate we are all in at the moment. It is a 12 min amble down to Quarteria seafront which is delightful with a really good promenade to walk along with lots of bars, and restaurants. A supermarket is a five minute walk away and opens from 8 in the mooring, till 8 in the evening. Pharmacys are available around the seafront area. They also have two very good restaurants across the road from the supermarket, A Casahrenia is run by a group of local ladies, serving fresh produce Salmon and various other fish. If you want Cataplana order a day in advance. It also runs a takeaway service which the locals lap up! It's very reasonably priced too! There is also the Giant Chicken restaurant which serves Piri Piri chicken Kebabs,Steaks,Lamb chops,ect at good prices and huge portions! A little bit of advice . Before leaving for your break, bring a sponge, washing up liquid a extra tea towel and a small plug!

Stayed here for a week, the apartment was lovely and a good size with a nice outside area for the family. The pool was also really nice and had friendly staff. Davi was the loveliest bartender and made a real effort to be nice to us each day!
Only downsides were the loud music and bar area at the pool all day, and hard up selling from the staff when unwanted/when we were trying to chill in the sun. Also the cleaning was erratic and commodities such as toilet roll and bin bags weren’t always supplied.
Overall a really nice place to stay just a slightly unrelaxing pool environment.

What a fantastic place!! Apartment simple but had everything we needed, and was spotless. Pool, restaurant and staff all amazing. We have been to many places that cost a lot more, and this was definately one of our favourites. The location is perfect for a walk into Vilamoura and there is a supermarket about a 5 minute walk from the apartments. The balcony is massive and the fact everyone has a BBQ is just fantastic. The gardens are immaculately manicured and spotless. Drinks at the pool very reasonably priced and you get 10% off if your staying in the apartments. We have already looked at coming back in September as we were so sad to leave!! Thankyou so much guys!! We will definately be back. The Dorey’s Xx

After reading nearly every review on accommodation in Vilamoura I chose this for our family holiday. It was a good bit more expensive than similar apartments (Prai do Golf where some of my relatives stayed) but the photos and reviews sold it to me. Complex looks lovely but apartments badly need updating. If this were my property I would have it fumigated for cockroaches and increase frequency of cleaning. Had fuse box issues which resulted in loss of food from the fridge. Was fixed on day 5 of our 8 day stay. Expensive even by Irish standards so I was expecting more for my money. The pool area looked lovely but was a little busy (I know it was the height of Summer) so spent most of our time at the beach instead. Also for early risers the pool nor the coffee bar open until 9.30am. There’s a big supermarket 5 minutes away on foot and plenty of Ubers to take you to town which cost between €4 and €7 depending on time of day. The two stars are for the pleasant reception staff who agreed to a late checkout on our departure day and kindly minded our luggage until 8pm

The pool bar and service level at this venue is 4*, but its fair to say the accommodation is a little confined. We travelled as a family of four, and while the two bedrooms were fine, the kitchen/living area was pretty cramped. Really appreciated the high quality mattresses, shower, air conditioning and (whisper it!) tv service.
The service level was well above expectations, very pleased to have bed linen and towels changed during our 6 day stay. Victor and all of the staff are nothing short of excellent.
The beach is a 15 minute walk, but otherwise it is very well located near a good supermarket and two great (if contrasting) restaurants. All in all, we were very pleased with our holiday.

I meant to leave a review last Easter but never got round to it but after returning this Easter I had to leave this glowing review.
This truly is becoming home from home for us. What a lovely welcome back from Vitor and his lovely partner.
The complex is constantly being upgraded which is lovely to see, this year new sun beds and cabanas added to the pool area. Beautiful plants and flowers starting to bloom.
The pool area is great and thanks to the lovely pool guy who turned our four sun loungers every morning ready for us to face the mid morning sun.
The food at the restaurant has a good selection for lunch and dinner at reasonable prices. We had fantastic meals with brilliant service, thanks to the bar, restaurant and kitchen staff for looking after us. Breakfast now also available which was a new bonus.
The apartments have most thing you would need but also big terraces with built in BBQ - get that piece of steak from the amazing supermarket which is 10 minutes walk and enjoy!
Uber €5 to the marina, 10 minutes to supermarket, great location.
All in all a great place to spend some time in Portugal, can’t wait to come back.

Me and my partner had the best time here for his birthday. The lady on the reception was perfect and she made our time there extra special! In fact all the staff there were so friendly and inviting. The apartments were so spacious, clean, and beautiful … especially the terrace where we got to have our own bbq! There’s a Lidl around the corner you can get your coal from 😊 We really wasn’t expecting it to be so good because of the very reasonable price! I would most definitely return. Amazing place!

Honorio apartments were a great find for 4 nights. Superb pool area with a nice restaurant that had live music during the day and on an evening. Very good food in the restaurant, usual drinks/snacks at the pool bar and reasonable prices. 20 minute walk to Vilamoura marina or €3.75 Uber. Apartments what you’d expect for 3 star, clean and comfortable. 5 rating comes from the service, owners allowed us to keep the room on longer due to my wife’s slipped disc at no cost which allows us to enjoy our last day with our 3 children for an evening flight - a nice touch. Lots of day trippers go to the pool/restaurant but never over crowded, all sun loungers and day beds could be used without charge for apartment guests. Will definitely return when visiting Vilamoura again.

Had 2 short stays at Apartmento Honorio while visiting a family member in hospital. Victor was very accommodating and helped us with an early check in so we could rush off to the hospital. The apartments were perfect, very modern and on our first stay we had an upper floor apartment with a huge balcony and own built in bbq. Pool and bar area was spotless, all been recently renovated. Close by to nearest shops and short taxi ride to Vilamoura Marina where lots of bars and restaurants are. Would absolutely stay again 10/10.

Had the most lovely time here. All the staff were helpful and nice, only ate at their Bele restaurant once but had a lovely burrata salad. Rooms were fully stocked with everything we needed, comfy beds and air conditioning. They're traditional style which we loved, whereas the pool is very modern and lovely to sit around during the day. Location is great as well.
