Stayed here 26th sept - 30th sept in room 311 which was a deluxe 2 bed apartment, fantastic views from both balconies of the golf course and in the distance the sea, the apartment overlooked the pool area, the apartment was stunning, fully equipped with dishwasher/ washing machine (if need), built in appliances (fridge/ freezer), decent kettle, toaster, coffee maker, cupboards stocked with plates, glasses , cutlery of a decent enough standard. The roof terrace has a hot tub but was out of action during our stay, balconies are huge and has decent furniture (plastic) on both and a clothes airer. The apartment has an iron and board too, acres of storage space too.
My only negative point was on the last day we got stuck in the lift for 20mins between floors, which was slightly alarming as it was hot, compact and oddly the lift alarm rings the reception in this particular block of apartments but reception has moved to the bar / restaurant area so nobody can hear the alarm?. Otis who maintain the lift will answer the alarm call eventually and are supposed to report the issue immediately to the hotel but that didn’t happen?, fortunately I managed to get 4G on my phone and call the hotel reception who to be fair reacted very swiftly, but as most will know it’s rare to get a signal in a lift.
The staff we great (albeit 5 of them) usually 3 on / 2 off rota, but they were extremely helpful and spoke very good english.
The walk itself to the marina is 25mins if you take the quick route (gravel track behind the hotel) and turn right as the gravel track joins the road (lakes 24 apartments turn). It’s definitely 30-40 mins if you follow the dual carriage way near the main entrance.
We did only walk the first day after that we jumped in a cab and the cost was €5.50 (and worth paying). We did get stung twice for €12 & €8 (same cab and driver) so we spoke to reception who booked the taxi as they have a business relationship with the taxi firm that it shouldn’t cost anymore than €6. Taxi is booked at reception and takes around 10 mins to arrive, and is a 5 min trip to the marina.
The hotel does bike hire which we used every morning and then used the taxi to and from at night from the marina, the taxi rank is near the Hagen daz ice cream store in the marina, take the steps to the left and at the top the taxis are on the left.
The marina itself was surprisingly commercialised with lots of Irish bars, sports bars , Pizza Hut, but the side opposite hargen daz is a little more sophisticated and has better restaurants, we ate in Lamparo (Italian) twice which was great! The mayflower was also very good, as was the captains bar (sounds cheesy ) but was very good and the menu very very reasonable and good quality.
Highly recommend the hotel and quarteria (old town)2 miles away from marina for some very authentic Portuguese.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa which was spacious and well equipped. Nicely decorated and modern with a good range of TV channels including golf and football! Large rooms and a kitchen which had most of the equipment we needed (just missing a corkscrew). The garden area was nice and has the sun from morning until around 5pm. The only downside to the gardens for the villas was that they are all open to each other so there is little privacy from neighbouring villas.
The pool area was fine but not as big as the pictures make it look. Very quiet resort, nothing going on at night or during the day so if you are looking for entertainment this is definitely not the place. About a 30 minute walk to the marina or 5 euros in a taxi.
We only ate in the restaurant once but the food was fine and reasonable priced.
Our main areas for improvement, hence knocking off 1 star and almost 2 were that the cleaning in the villas while we were there was not up to the standard you would expect. There are paper safety bath mats given in all showers yet they were not replaced for the entire week therefore the bath and shower could not have been cleaned. The sinks also were not cleaned by the cleaners during the time were there. I understand cleaning after yourself in the kitchen if you make food which we did, but if there is a daily maid service I would expect them to clean the bathrooms.
We requested a late checkout at 4pm but we’re told this was not possible and we could use shower and changing facilities near the pool. However, the female showers were disgusting, one completely broken with no shower head and the other with an open drain full of hair that clearly hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Some serious attention required in the changing area.

I couldn't recommend Laguna enough. It was a fabulous location, quiet and tranquil whilst having everything we needed. Views were great from our apartment as well. The apartment was super clean, beds were great to sleep in. Well decorated and maintained. Cleaning was frequent and all the kitchen and bathroom areas provided very modern cons. Loved it.

Have just had a week with my sister in a two bedroom duplex apartment with a rooftop terrace and it was fabulous! All three floors had large balconies with good views of the swimming pool and golf course The accommodation was modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped with housekeeping service every day except Sunday. The pool area was never too busy, we were able to get a sun bed whatever time we went down and it was useful having pool towels supplied. All the staff are friendly and helpful and we used the cafe regularly. The resort is about a 25 min walk to the marina but we mainly used uber which cost between 4-5 euros. This was my second visit to Laguna Resort, I was here last year with my husband and will definitely return again, it is a gem!

Our apartment was absolutely great - massive with two balconies over-looking the golf course.
The location is probably a slight downside given that it’s a good 25 minute walk to Vilamoura marina with not a lot in the immediate vicinity. However, taxis are reasonably priced so it wasn’t a big deal.
The breakfast buffet was decent with a wide selection of different foods.
I have taken a star off as some of the staff were not friendly. They weren’t rude but they were pretty disinterested. That said some were nice - the older man who ran the breakfast buffet was one who went out of his way to help.

This hotel is amazing the staff are very friendly and polite nothing is out of there way. The rooms are spacious with everything you need during your stay. Free bikes to hire also a bonus the harbour is about 20-25 minutes walk. If getting a taxi it will cost around 5-7€ and takes 5-7 minutes. Plenty of sunbeds around a pool Area would go back

We had a fabulous week at the Laguna resort. The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfy beds and very well equipped. The resort is very peaceful…lovely and quiet. Plenty of sun beds around the pool and not too busy. We found it useful using Uber’s to get around (supermarket runs), the walk down to the beach and Marina is about 25 mins. We ate in a lovely restaurant in Vilamoura call Casa do Pescador which I would recommend and a bit cheaper than the restaurants on the marina. Jet 2 provided a great service, we would definitely return.

I stayed here with my partner for a week and it was amazing from start to finish. Both reception and restaurant staff were extremely friendly and professional. The rooms are really big and we had a massive balcony which made it extra special. Decor was very modern in all rooms which we love and this hotel definitely gives a very luxury affect and feel. The pool area is lovely and surrounded by greenery with pretty flowers, plenty of sun beds at all times. Restaurant food and drinks were 10/10. Took us about 30 mins to walk into Vilamoura (Marina) but the walk is beautiful, so much so that we walked into Vilamoura twice most days. The walking route is so pretty. It was my partners birthday whilst we were there and on a return trip from the beach there was a little birthday card with a small bottle of wine and some cakes which was really thoughtful and special. We stayed here with friends and we booked for our family, a one bed apartment for 3; 2 adults and 1 child. On arrival we were told we had been given an upgrade. When entering the apartment we were met with a 2 bed apartment over 3 floors - so grateful. The bottom floor had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the middle floor had a kitchen, dining area and lounge as well as a separate toilet and the top floor had access to a terrace with a hot tub however this was out of action. All 3 floors had huge balconies. The apartment was clean, modern and very spacious. Cleaned every day with fresh towels and linen half way through our weeks stay.
The pool was great and the kids loved the pool and the adults loved sunbathing. No issue getting sun beds at any time of the day.
Breakfast was great with a wide range of food available. Manuel and his wife took pride in ensuring there was a good selection and eggs were cooked fresh to your liking.
Special mention to Sandro at the bar; great guy who was helpful with providing us with directions, recommendations and always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
All staff at the resort were helpful, friendly and they made our stay. This resort is a great find and we would 100% stay here again.

Yes they have cots available just email them and they will sort it out for you. I travelled with my 1 year old in 2019 and the hotel supplied cot, high chair, and baby monitor
