Bit of an unusual design as it also seems to be an entrance to a block of flats. There is no restaurant anymore, breakfast being served and eaten at tables that flank the entrance and reception area. The bar consists of a fridge with some bottles and cans, with glasses laid out at the side. You simply pay at reception then get the drink you want. Rooms are okay, but owing to the lack of bar, restaurant (although there are plenty a couple of minutes walk away), and other amenities I would probably stay elsewhere next time I visit the area.

Somewhere to rest your head in an outdated room. No milk or cream top up and yes I could have asked. Breakfast terrible and no bar or restaurant. But clean enough. Close enough to the town with plenty of bars and restaurants

The hotel is in need of an renovation, everywhere, the room, the paint, the bathroom and so on. However the staff makes up for the old and tired look. The restaurant makes up for it as well. We had a 3 course diner and it was a pleasant surprise and wonderful.

We visited this hotel as part of our battlefields tour. It is very centrally situated in Oosterhout and the staff are very friendly. The breakfast was quite adequate and there is an evening restaurant but we did not use it as there are so many other restaurants within walking distance. The rooms were spacious and clean but still wanting further updating. Lighting was inadequate and the sight of bare wires sticking out of the bedside furniture was not too reassuring. Looking at earlier reviews these renovations have been going on for a long time, how much longer before they are finished?

Stayed here on business, as one of my colleagues has been coming here for a few years. Location is great as only a short walk to the square with good choice of restaurants. The rooms are very dated but ok. Comfy bed and shower ok but bathroom could do with modernising. Was a bit concerned with wires although capped off sticking to the headboard and little table lamps to replace the bed side lights which had been taken out. Lighting in the room was quite poor room very dark and gloomy. The bar area is great quite quirky but the staff were excellent.

I stayed here for 3 days. The staff was lovely... but, given an option... I would stay further from Oosterhout and drive into town. The hotel rooms are remodeled and look like the pictures... but, My room was missing lamps (so, it was DARK at night... I used the TV for light). The bathroom was super old and dated. And the toilet looked stained beyond bleachability ...(One of my toilets looked like this when I bought my house. I replaced that toilet within a week of moving in). Also, the floor was dirty (you could feel grit) and could have used a proper sweeping. There is no a/c .... which was tough at night. (I opened the window and the mosquitoes had a field-day on me). But the bed was EXTREMELY comfy!!! It definitely was not worth the price.... but it is in a convenient spot.…

Stayed here for business, hotel was centrally located. Rooms are a good size, comfortable bed. There is a multi-storey carpark at the rear of the hotel so there is no shortage of parking. There is a small bar in the hotel, the staff are very friendly.

The hotel is being refurbished, and i guess some rooms might be better than others. The room i had was not super modern, had even an old-fashioned tube television... It has been a long time since i have seen those. Beds are comfortable. The hotel is based in an appartment building, and there appears to be an underground parking as well. however that is not signposted very clear, so i had to park on the square nearby. Breakfast is basic. Some bread, some yoghurt, old muesli and not very attractive fruit. However it can nourish you for the day.
