Location is nice and central thats where it ends, My room was claustrophobic the bathroom was one of the smallest I have witnessed in my 32 years of traveling, The wifi is so poor it is unusable, breakfast was average, I have stayed in far superior Bed & breakfasts at a fraction of the cost. Not a hotel I would...

This is a beautiful, old hotel situated in a wonderfully quaint town. This old building is in excellent shape with rooms scattered haphazardly on all floors. This is not a traditional block room hotel but instead rooms are sprinkled three here, five there. This makes for quieter halls and less foot traffic by your room. As with most buildings in...

Lovely room and bathroom facilities, shower was lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast very nice also. Central location, front door is on to square in area but not noisy in the evenings or night time. Would recommend. Nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk, less. Haven't eaten dinner in the hotel itself.

I had a room at the top of the new residence. The bed was comfortable in the spacious room. The view was the sky and roofs around but I didn't have to worry about closing blinds. The shower didn't have an enclosure, just the nozzle in the tub and the mirrors were to high for me. They said that the...

Fine hotel in a old building at the main square of Bergen op Zoom. Traditional outside recently re furnished room with a ver good atmosphere. But what really makes the difference is the staff! They are very service minded a friendly.

I've booked a Superior Suite which absolutely fabulous! Just a place, wonderful ceiling, lovely decoration. The size of the room is 50-60 m2. This particular room located in the second building of the hotel overlooking beautiful Grote Markt. Staff is very helpful. Linen is too narrow for the bed size, shower has to be replaced.

Lovely Hotel. Friendly reception. Great position. However, the day we arrived there was a Beer Event going on (which was excellent) so the Hotel Car Park was locked early. We were advised and directed to another Car Park which was just a few minutes away. This Car Park was Achter de Grotesque Markt. Hopefully spelt it correctly. Seemed very secure...

The hotel breaths old and classic, however the rooms are quite modern and nice. However the rooms in my opinion are quite small. Furthermore the wifi is below any standard and does not work well in the evening. Using it to browse internet is almost impossible. Breakfast is small but well served. Don't know if there is anything better in...

The service was excellent from the owner of the hotel to the reservation clerks and cleaning staff. The clerk at reservations was very helpful in suggesting some places to visit. The breakfast was excellent. All in all, a very nice stay. I look forward to returning soon.

First visit to that part of Holland, hotel recommended by local business associates. Fronts right on the old square, and it seems odd to drive through the square, past all the cafes to check-in, but they assured me it was quite normal. Apparently, the oldest hotel in Holland, in business over 600 years. Nice combination of old styling and architecture,...
