Located between Groningen and Assen and in the middel of the beautiful surroundings of the Drentsche Aa, the hotel is located beautifully for walking and cycling. Our room was a bit outdated but clean and had a seperate lavatory. The bathroom also had a seperate shower and a small bath. We had booked our stay with breakfast, which was stated...

Location excellent for cycling and walking. Spacious room, comfortable beds, rooms at backside have nice view and balcony. Dinner is great. Partly buffet style, partly live cooking, which makes it excellent also for people on a diet. Friendly service

Located almost equidistant between Groningen and Assen an ideal hotel for exploring the Drents countryside. Our room was roomy possibly at the expense of the bathroom, which had a small bath and no separate shower. The building sprawls so your bedroom could be some distance from the reception. The hotel restaurant offers "live" cooking, still trying to imagine the alternative....

Stayed here for Xmas day, while visiting with family for Christmas. Very friendly reception, totally adequate rooms, good parking facility, free wifi that worked! Good breakfast on Boxing Day. Bathrooms were functional, it all worked. Towels could be bigger, they're definitely on the very small side... mattresses could be firmer and the duvets could be more comfortable too... they felt...

the rooms are ok but not stylish, no coffee/tea, the Hotel itself is very nicely decorated. Different places like bar/ restaurants/ tv-room/ children playground and small indoor swimming pool. Staff helpful and friendly. Make sure you have breakfast included.

This is an excellent hotel with great service in a beautiful setting. All the staff speak good English. It is only 15 minutes from the TT circuit at Assen therefore ideal for world and British Superbike meetings.

Stayed here on a weekend trip to Holland for the British Superbike racing. Have stayed here for the last few years. Hotel is spotless, in a very quiet area and easy to access. Food is really good, staff are all helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them, have already booked up to return next year.

The location is very nice, the rooms are ok in size but the lighting system in the bathroom is extremely poor with energy saving bulbs that give no light. The ventilation in the restaurant and public places are terrible and in summer is is unbearably hot. A regular hotel I would call it.

We had a great time during our visit to this little hotel. The place was a bit dated but still nice. The beds were comfortable enough for a couple nights. The food was amazing....AMAZING. I totally recommend eating there if you are in the area. We rented bikes and rode a trail seeing the hunnenbedden. It was a nice ride...

Thank TM A
