My husband and I had signed up for the "Soldaat van Oranje" package, which included one night's stay, a ticket for the above-mentioned fantastic Dutch musical, an after-musical treat, entrance to the spa (amazing!) and breakfast. Our first encounter with the hotel was during check-in and it became very quickly clear that the hotel seems to save on staff or at least on motivated staff. Coming from a 5-star hotel background I know the importance of staff who greets the guests and it only happened occasionally during our stay, a real pity! After several minutes waiting for the receptionist paying attention to check-in we were asked to check in in the hotel's 4-star dependance, a fair walk away from the main building (check this during reservation). Something that the hotel forgot

Hotels van Oranje is conveniently located right on the Boulevard and the Dutch Coast! The hotel is split between the Beach Hotel and the Main hotel, having individual check-in desks. The hotel offers a variety of services, Beauty salon, Aqua- and Wellness center, Bowling, restaurants and Bars. The hotel has a rich history. Staffing is extremely friendly and makes you feel at home. Did I miss anything? Yes, having coffee/tea making facilities in my room and bathrobe and slippers require renting, which I believe does not fit a 5 star hotel. But one look at the sea and you've forgotten this!

Stayed here for a conference, which was in the hotel. The hotel is a bit dated, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Rooms were chintzy, with a lot of navy and gold. I had two very narrow single beds pushed together, each with their own duvet. Wouldn't want to come here for a romantic weekend, but I can't imagine going to Noordwijk for a romantic weekend to be honest. Breakfast was a standard business hotel affair. Bacon, cereals, some fruit pastries etc. Nothing special but not bad either. I did suffer from over-eager staff though. If you can't carry all of your breakfast at once, and want to put it down in stages, you'll go back to your table to find that that full glass of orange juice you just put down has disappeared. So you have to go and queue again, hoping that the

I love the public areas in this hotel, especially the bar - really cool. The bedrooms are a bit old fashioned but they're comfortable and my executive room was very large. Nice bright big restaurant for breakfast in the morning, which was a great apart from terrible scrambled eggs! Excellent hotel for a business meeting..but would be even better to visit in summer...

I spend 3 days on the Hotels van Oranje for a business meeting, they have very nice rooms and the location is great, just near the beach with a excellent view. We had group dinner in both the Van Oranje and Beach Club, very good meals. This is also a great location for couples.

Stayed here for business recently Nice location thats for sure, spectacular view of sea in Summer or winter. Rooms are fine, comfortable and clean Staff are very friendly and efficient making everything easy The catering was very efficient although I found the food rather uninspiring, particularly the breakfasts. Something rather old fashioned about it somehow. IN fact thinking about it, the whole place smacked a little of 'old school' particularly the decor Overall a good choice for business Not sure I would take the family here though, just not special or modern enough

Beautiful decorated hotel with an excellent breakfast . Friendly and helpfull staff. We had some troubles with opening the window and the Airconditioning didn't work as normal Airco's. It was a bit complicated, a note in the rooms could solve that problem :-). The room was like a Sauna. The Sea is in front of the Hotel and Noordwijk is a lovely town wit a lot of nice shops.

Happened to stay here a few months ago for a night. This is a decent option in this quaint town, which really gets busy during the summer and specially over the weekends. Happened to stay over on a Friday night and checked out on Saturday. The hotel is just opposite the beach and close to some great cafes and restaurants. The hotel itself is quite nice with decent sized rooms with all amenities you would expect. The folks at the reception are pretty friendly and I never had a problem at all. Never ate at the hotel but I did so on a previous trip and the food had been great. All in all, a nice beachfront hotel in this quaint town - ideal for a couple of days.

On arrival to the hotel we found the staff to be very friendly. Not only at the front desk but also by the pool, cleaning, restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool although, there are a lot of families staying here so we quickly learned to time our visits at the 'off times' for kids. So, early in the morning or waiting until the standard dutch dinner time. The sauna was great. 2 large saunas and a couple individual ones (at lower temperature). But, when it was busy it was busy! No place to sit but on the side of the tubs waiting for some space to free up. Good thing was that no one seemed to leave stuff and disappear, as I've seen elsewhere. Overall, the facilities of the pool + sauna were very clean. Breakfast was good however, again it was super busy. Two large rooms
