Well, arrived by train from Milan, taxi from station down the narrow lanes to fishing village, main square and our chosen hotel. First impression, small door adjacent to sea, my wife was worried, what have you booked. Up small stairs above the bar to our room, we wear upgraded top front corner apartment. What a wonderful surprise, large room, windows... More

Camogli is such an unusual place. The main town is on a harbor with fishing boats coming in and out, children playing ball on the street and men and women visiting and talking about the town activities. If the weather is warm people are in the water. We drove there and parked the car in the upper part of the town... More

Unusual bed and breakfast with a stunning harbour setting. We stayed for just one night in very high season. Due to not doing our homework in regards to how to get to the hotel, we ended up utterly exhausted after lugging our bags through the whole of Camogli because it was impossible to park near the hotel. This hassle out... More

There are good points about this property. I won't call it a hotel because it has 5 rooms and the reception (a tiny part of a bar) is only open from 8am to 12 midday and from 5pm to 8pm. Check out is 10.30am. The staff were busy in the bar when we arrived and departed so we had to... More

This hotel is right at the water's edge, of a tiny harbour. It has a very intimate, personal feel, and the staff is extremely friendly. The room we had was a decent size, a high ceiling, modern amenities, clean and very comfortable. You select your breakfast for the morning, the night before, from a customizable list of breakfast items and... More

I Tre Merli Locanda is a small hotel located right on the quayside. You have your breakfast watching the boats come in and out of the little harbour. Very friendly service. Good bedrooms. You have to drop off your luggage and park in the hotel car park about 15 minutes walk away. But you do not need a car as... More

Staff were lovely and very helpful, so no two ways about that. Original bathroom and room design was neat, but maintenance and cleanliness now a bit wanting. Hotel website showing too many pictures of the spa completely miss-sell the concept of what the hotel is about. Although an early breakfast just outside on the harbour was nice. Not a location... The hotel is at the end of the harbour which is the heart of this beautiful village. The rooms are above the bar within a residential building that had a lovely feel. Our room Selene was well equipped and very comfortable. It looked over the harbour to the lovely church clock tower, enchanting. Our host made us welcome and helped with directions... More

This hotel is small and cozy,... and the service is exceptional. When you visit Camoglie, you want to experience an authentic Italian fishing village. You will have a "Front Row Seat" in this locanda. Marianne brings you breakfast as you sit in the sunshine just a few feet from the port. She is ebullient. What a joy to meet someone... More

Unfortunately we had only one night in the tree merli. Service was very friendly and helpful. We had the room at the corner one window facing the sea, one the little harbour - wonderful. Breakfast right on the waterfront directly beside the harbour was absolutely amazing.we were there at the middle of October still - warm bud less crowded
