First trip advisor review but knew I had to after our experience! More then 7 generations (one of which was a cardinal!) have owned and run this boutique vineyard. Best Chianti wine we've tried and the nicest couple running the show. Not to be missed! Definitely ask to try the dessert wine!!

I stayed here on a weeks retreat, it was my 4th trip to Italy and my first stay at Bichi. The ground are gorgeous and the hospitality amazing. It was so relaxing to be truly away in the Tuscan countryside with the close proximity to Siena. I hope I can go back Sooners I left refreshed and inspired.

I stayed at Bichi Borghesi for a week on a private retreat, and when I saw the pictures of where we were staying, I was so excited, but upon arrival I can say the pictures do not do it justice - it is absolutely gorgeous, and exactly what I think of when I think of Tuscany! We were warmly welcomed...

I can't say enough about the people, food, or accommodations at Bichi Borghese. I stayed there a week on a private retreat and I will never forget my experience. Set in one of the most gorgeous places in Italy. Please don't miss out on this amazing opportunity to be in the heart of the Italian countryside. La dolce vita!

We decided to meet up with a close family friend for four days of exploring in Tuscany and the search began for a place to stay. Fortunately for us, our friend received a strong recommendation, by a previous visitor, that the Bichi Borghesi was the place to stay. Well, the recommendation as a good one and staying at the Bichi...

Bichi is situated amongst the rolling hills of Tuscany, surrounded by its own olive groves and vineyards. The estate is seeped in history, dating back to the 17th century and is well documented by an avid family photographer. No wonder it's also a desired location for wedding receptions. I cannot say enough about the fantastic hospitality of Paola, Vittorio and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our estate lies on the northern border of the Montagnola Senese and overlooks the Elsa valley, an area rich in works of art and blessed by nature. The most famous towns of Tuscany, Siena, Firenze, San Gimignano, may be reached in a few kilometres. In our hamlet, surrounded by unpolluted landscape, can still be felt the charm of history and love that has linked our family to this land for more tan four centuries. Our apartments are fully and well furnished, independent and are located in centre of the hamlet. ... more   less

“We stayed in fattoria, which was the only villa vacant for our chosen dates. It sleeps 6, so when my husband and I arrived, we felt overwhelmed by the size, but quickly settled in and enjoyed the luxury of two bathrooms! It is so wonderfully rustic, with comfortable beds and large shuttered windows overlooking the estate. I would suggest booking in early to secure a smaller villa if there are just two of you, as there are only three on this large estate. Still, for what we paid for 10 days, I am not complaining.”
