The room was great - I thought because it was a deal and on the top floor it would be a pokey attic room, but it was a lovely attic suite with entrance hall, bathroom to one side and bedroom with balcony to the other. Huge, comfortable bed, armchair with side table. Nice looking bathroom, except the shower was a...

First of all this hotel was not cheap but it was for a special occasion. We stayed two nights and the room and bedroom were probably the best we've ever stayed in - very quiet, comfortable, particularly the huge king size bed. We did not use the restaurant but enjoyed two evenings in the bar with reasonably priced, well cooked...

We stayed here four nights recently and it was a great experience. The location is right in Plaza Espagna; convenient for walking to archeological sites from Roman to Islam to the more recent Christian period, for food or just to wander around the surroundings. The reception staff was very welcoming and helpful with information. Our room was large, comfortable and...

For me this is the nicest hotel in Merida and in the best location, the main square. It's not the best 5 star hotel by far but it's one of the best value hotels I have been to, I highly recommend it if you travel to Merida.

We enjoyed our stay at the Merida Palace primarily because of the convenience of the location, close to all the archaeological sites and museums we came to see. It is also within walking distance of both the bus and train stations. The room was large, comfortable and quiet. Whilst the weather was quite cold, we were grateful for a warm...

The hotel is very nice and in a fabulous place right in the middle of town. However the room is not adequately adapted which surprises me since this belongs to ONCE foundation one of the biggest associations for the blind and handicapped persons. There was no roll in shower, and the toilet was low not the standard high ones for...

The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location right in the middle of everything in the center of town. The problem is that the handicapped room is not correctly done. It does not have a roll in shower and the toilet is low. It's surprising since it belongs to the ONCE, one of the biggest foundations for the...

Beautiful hotel, lovely room and wonderful location in main square. BUT compared it to the next stop which was a 4 star and found that one superior. For example, the beds, although comfortable didn't have those wonderful deep matresses that 4 and 5 star hotels tend to have. Nice to have a kettle but only a few sachets of mint...

I really liked our one night stay in this comfortable hotel. We didn't eat anything so I can't comment on the food but other guests seemed to be enjoying their dinner. We were lucky to enjoy very warm temperatures (sun and 26 degrees) so felt very disappointed to find that the rooftop pool was closed for the season. Merida is...

We arrived earlier in the day in order to see all the roman theatre, amphitheater and Moneó Museum. The staff at the front desk were very professional and friendly. The car was parked by them in a nearby parking. The exterior of the building is very nice. The interior thought was decorated as third class hotel. The bedroom was fine,...
