A everyone says, it provides all your needs at a good price but a shade dated. Felt like I was walking into Faulty Towers but without Basil! The old boy on the desk didn't speak a word of English but we muddled through. Gave us a dirty look when he saw the dog! I did tell the hotel through Booking....

An excellent hotel. Very clean and with a touch of luxury. Friendly but lacking in English. Highly recommend. Close to railway and bus stations and to the best bars and restaurants. Some traffic noise.

Nice clean room, but a bit noisy. Regretfully they don't have any breakfast service but there are places to go in the neighbourhood. Just a short walk from the center where you will find plenty of restaurants / coffee places.

We stayed last Saturday night, having booked a couple of months ago. We chose El Coloso for its location and secure parking for our motorbike. For 46 euros a night it had twin beds, an en suite shower/bathroom and sufficient room for us to dump our bike kit when we went out for the evening. It was clean and comfortable,...

Its ok if you want just a bed for 40€. Ist on citycenter, its clean. But the building its old, smeel like old, its very noisy. The owners are very kind. There are a wifi antenna just in the room, on the wall, just on the bed near for your head.....i think its not healthy.

A very nice hotel close to city center, with rooms that have a lot of space, and our 3 bed room even had 2 TV's. Staff is very polite, and WiFi works flawlessly. Unfortunately, at the time I visited the hotel, there wasn't any kind of garden tables. I hope that will be sorted out soon. Across the halls of...

If visiting the city this hotel is well located and well signposted if driving . A little tired with the decor but very clean and well positioned to see all the sights so can't complain - great wifi throughout and private parking under the hotel

We had problems from the start with this hotel. It took forever to find the free parking garage; they have no facility for breakfast or even coffee and the place had a deserted feel. It was clean and comfortable and located near restaurants and other places of interest but I probably would choose a place with more activity and some...

Despite the heading of this review, I am giving this hotel an "average" rating. We stayed in room 28, at the rear of the hotel. We had booked in for a couple of nights as we were visiting the Circuito de Velocidad in Jerez for the F1 winter testing sessions. We only paid 36 euros per night and rather than...

The Hotel El Coloso is ideally located in the very centre of Jerez, with the main Plaza, tourist information, shopping and the old town within 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms very clean, free wifi in rooms, TV, etc. VERY GOOD value for money, especially with free underground. The only downside was no coffee making facilities in room and no...
