I loved this hotel. It is located at walking distance from the old city center, rooms are nicely decorated and clean, staff is very kind and helpful and rates are very fine for what you get. Breakfast is well assorted. The only remark is that beds are not confortable and the mattresses are thin.

This hotel was exactly what was to be expected. Great location and comfortable atmosphere - nothing fancy and no elevator, but perfect for a short trip. If you're looking for an economical place to stay, we enjoyed our time here.

This hotel fronts a narrow side street and there is no vehicle access so you must arrive on foot. If you have a car you should park at the Obispo Galarza underground car park which is about 100 yards away. (GPS coordinates 39.47550 -6.37356). Collect a ticket from the machine as you enter. Take the ticket with you to the... More

In its glory days I could have imagined this hotel to have been fabulous as it retains many nice features. It would benefit from some modernisation but as it stands it was very adequate and at 50 euros B&B very good value. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars as a rating but given the cost and location I... This place is, quite simply, what it says it is. Nothing more, nothing less. Very well located, simple but clean and functional rooms and a basic but decent breakfast offer. If you want more luxury, think again. If you want the above at an appropriate price and very helpful staff, this is for you.

Right on the corner of Plaza Mayor of Caceres, this hotel is ideally suited for exploring the old town. It is in an old palace, so don't expect the convenience of a modern hotel. There is no lift, so consider if you can carry suitcases up the stairs. Wifi is not available in your room. Car access is not possible... More

We selected for location, and were not disappointed. This is just off one corner of Plaza Major, and our room was over a narrow side street. Windows open for fresh air, and close to block some street noise. Be clear on your needs and desires, though. Our room was adequate, but with a decidedly worn out look: holes in sheets... More

We were due to stay one night, had to park some way away from the hotel and had to use satnav to find it. Even when we were on the square we could not see it easily. We were offered a room on the 3rd floor, it had frosted glass on the windows, we asked for another room, offered 2nd... More

We needed a reservation for a one-night stay. We decided for Iberia because of its perfect localization (right on Plaza Mayor, close to the old town and walls) and price. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around, a good and a bad thing at the same time. Pintores street is really crowded and the night was a bit noisy... More

We wanted to see the old town of Caceres and the Hotel Iberia offered a great location. The hotel is one of the oldest commercial buildings in the town and is beautifully decorated in parts. The rooms are good but you may need to upgrade to a room on the 3rd floor to get a more peaceful nights sleep as... More
