The camp is located on a private farm of 120 acres near Jawai Dam & Bera which lies in between Udaipur & Jodhpur. We offer 5 A/c luxury Swiss tents furnished with all advanced/modern amenities with equally beautifully appointed attached bathrooms. The tents are cozy and ideal for a wildlife holiday. Our campsite also happens to be our home, in a part of the farm our family lives here itself and yet guests enjoy their privacy at the same time. We serve delicious home cooked meals that come from mother’s kitchen, enjoy Rajasthani flavors in the rural & rustic settings of the campsite. The camp is also border by Jawai River which flows for few months and theme dinner at rock near river can be a great experience.

During Holi holidays I traveled to Jawai Bera with the small group of unknown people and stayed at Verawal leopard camp ,which has 4 luxury tents owned by Big hearted person Pushpendra ji. Staff is courteous and always helpful. When we conveyed them our wish that we want to have more of local cuisine, they served us the local dishes beyond our expectations. After every safari they served us tea/coffee with some light snacks and cherry on the cake was the last day of our safari they served us breakfast near the dam surrounded by Aravali range . Pushpendra ji himself belongs to that area, so have great knowledge of the surroundings and the animal behavior. Tarun the driver, is a good tracker and we were amazed by his tracking skills. Overall our trip was ended with beautiful memories and would recommend everyone if you're in Jawai specially for wildlife trip, try to stay once at this place 😊

This is an excellent place to stay in Bera. The accommodation is a cross between tents and cottages and is very comfortable with AC and a well equipped bathroom. The food is delicious and very plentiful. The highlight was the amazing safaris to spot leopards and birds. Pushpendra the owner of the property is passionate about the leopards in the area and is full of information and stories about the wildlife in the area. We were lucky to spot leopards on all 4 of the safaris we went on. A wonderful experience.

Amazing service by the entire staff, Pushpendra (owner) and Mann (manager). This was one of the best safaris that we experienced. Pushpendra ji is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic towards wildlife and specially leopards. If you are with him, you will leave with sheer knowledge and appreciation for him. Jawai has some amazing landscapes other than wildlife and he ensured we cover everything in our short stay. This place is small and homely with amazing food cooked freshly. Its much better than any other resorts/camps who are much more commercial and provide all sorts of stuff like Karaoke and what not. If you want to make your trip memorable and knowledgeable, I would highly recommend staying at this camp. Thanks for the amazing hospitality again :)

Beautiful homely setup of 4 tent-like rooms with an open dining area...more than that is the utmost passion and deep knowledge of Pushpinder (the owner) about the local leopards..about 40 odd in the 25 km vicinity close to jawai village in Rajasthan.  It will be correct to say that he has mastered the knack of spotting the leopards giving most of them a name to associate with..Neelam ,zia,Laxmi are some of them that stay very close by in the caves of granite rocky hills.. Food is home like freshly  cooked variety and the rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean and very well maintained. This review would not be complete with out mentioning the enthusiasm of our driver pravinsingh..(could surpass the best rally driver)first time in my entire life ,I sat in an improvised Maruti gypsy that could climb hills without roads straight up to the top..(going on sand dunes in dubai is a kids play in comparison) Our guide bhaskersingh had tremendous knowledge on birds..and we saw atleast 25 variety  and there are more than 240 of them! With sighting of 2 leopards ,2 cubs, crocodiles, neelguy, mongoose and even a python, all in all an absolutely successful 3 drives and each better than the other. Did I mention that our breakfast after the sighting was on top of the hill overlooking the river and mustard fields! This 2 day trip reminded me of all the trips to Africa that I enjoyed and sadly never really looked for that same option in our own country 4 hours away from my home!!

We went for a photography holiday to Jawai and were recommended Varawal Leopard Camp by a friend. The trip was one of the most memorable holidays we’ve had. Excellent sighting lead by an enthusiastic team- Pushpendra and his naturalist Bhaskar make for a superb team and no effort is spared to help the guests spot the leopards. Leopards are elusive by nature but it seems Pushpendra can sniff them out!! There’s also great bird sightings in and around the camp and at the Bandh. The food is excellent and even made to order if you have any special requests. I’d go there again and again ! Well done team Varawal Leopard Camp!

If there is a place for passionate Wildlife enthusiasts its Varawal Leapord Camp. Everyday spent at the camp was nothing short of exciting and there were moments of slowing down and intriguing conversations. Service Man Vikram was always kind enough to give us a helping hand through anything and everything. Cook Pratap made some really delicious food off the fire. Vijay Singh and Govind championed the roads with their driving skills, were assigned to us through the day. One should in their lifetime, not miss visiting a landscape like Jawai. Its pure magic because of its stark and wabi sabi landscape and we were humbled for the sightings we received. Through the safaris, we were always surprised by Varawal with unique experiences and a country side gifted with happy and smiling tribal people. Go there for the love of exploring The wild, soaking in fresh air and without a doubt let it be Varawal for Pushpendrajis the owner is pure genius on the love and knowledge he possesses on Jawai. A really special place which i would always wish to visit again. Perfect price point, perfect location and just the right amount of amenities one needs in a camp, Varawal is true to its people, real at heart!!

Awesome experience of staying at the camp, we stayed for two nights. We enjoyed a comfortable stay, with awesome quality of food. Especially the video show presented by Mr. Pushpendra Singh Ranawat in the evening was an added pleasure, which will surely make you more compassionate and aware about the nature and wildlife. His knowledge and enthusiasm towards wildlife is really commendable. We opted for one safari exclusively for bird watching. The Jawai Dam and its surroundings were the visual treat for our eyes with numerous residents and migratory birds, a paradise for a bird watcher. We had a couple of safari for other wildlife too, and those were immensely successful. Thanks to Mr, Vijay and his expertise. Overall we had a wonderful experience amidst green far from the city life. A very recommendable place for the wildlife enthusiast and nature lovers.
