We stayed here for 2 nights and it was excellent. Our room was very spacious with the most fantastic view from the balcony. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, particularly in the restaurant. We were sceptical at first about being so high up but Letojanni and the beach is so easily accessible with the cable car and lifts. Parking was 5 euros a day. Breakfast was good with a good selection. We had dinner in the hotel one night. It was ok but I wouldn’t want to eat there every night. We stayed in October so it was a bit quieter. We didn’t use a lot of the facilities but everything looked very good. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again in summer.
Was booked at the Caesar’s Palace in Giardini Naxos part of the same group of hotels (Parc Hotels) but was told that it was closing due to lack of bookings. Caesars Palace had better reviews and as we were only informed of its planned closure the week before arriving it was a case of accepting what was offered. As I said our room was great, comfortable, roomy and had a great view. That is where the good things about this hotel stops. On our arrival in the dining room I soon found that communication with my partner was impossible! The noise that greeted us was deafening, kids running around uncontrollably and the level of noise meant people had to shout to be heard! The worse was yet to come the food was a mixture of lukewarm, drab, unappetising and tasteless. It was at this stage we made the decision to eat out for the rest of the holiday. Thank goodness the town below of Letojanni has a fantastic choice of restaurants, all very excellent, quiet and good value for money. The essence of my review is that, stay at this hotel if you enjoy a comfortable room with beautiful views but do not eat here.…
I’ve been here for a week and I’ve been having a great time. The room is spacious and clean. The pools and the beaches are wonderful and the evening are always fun because of the music. There is good food but the dining area is a bit chaotic. The pasta is really good, the second dishes are good too but a bit repetitive. I never got desserts but they looked ok. Breakfast was really limited, in fact if you could only get pretty much croissants. Not a lot of food for vegans or celiacs. Overall I had a great time staying here and I would recommend doing the all inclusive so you can drink whenever you want without paying. The hotel had great views and they’ll be hard to forget.
I am separated two years,I'm in my fifties, I wanted a holiday in the sun ...so I have always fancied Sicily..went in a Tui shop..and there I was flying out all by myself to the Olympo, nervous as anything but wow what a time I had! Yes, to get to the hotel there's a tunnel, then a lift then the funicular but so much fun and unusual! Arrived after 10pm..fruit and water in room and a cold plate left in restaurant. Check in swift. Room so big just for me and every part of the room spotless. I mean gleaming. Food, so much choice, if you like chips and home like food, holiday in Skegness. And desserts to die for. My waiter Pepe had lived in England and he was so friendly and helpful. As were all the staff. I bought the two day hop on hop off bus ticket 35 euros from a booth in the hotel..I was in tears at the beauty of the countryside, I couldn't believe it. Only thing I would say is all drinks etc put on tab during the stay but I wrote down all I spent including mini bar so no shocks at the end. So in conclusion, I was nervous, worried about my first solo holiday but need not have been. Tui and hotel staff helped me every step of the way to have a great time. The pool was amazing, I was lucky to have such great weather and the views from the many terraces in the hotel were stunning, took my breath away. Would I go back? I can't wait, fell in love with Sicily, and the hotel, I couldn't have asked for a better place, people or country to make me feel so welcome.…
I was absolutely happy surprised when I stayed in this great hotel with so many facilities! There is even a cable car to the upper building of tge complex and an outside elevator which goes from the ground floor down to the parking lot, busses and the trainstation, which leave frequently to Taormina, Catania and Messina. We had soacious clean rooms with terrace with the most spectacular view at the sea and the mountains. I am still in awe!
