Hotel is clean and food is good. Just have to get used to the lifts and venicular lift. They haven't got the grasp of All inclusive. Bottles of water and beer that are all inclusive at bars you have to pay for in the fridge in your room. It's hit and miss which bar is open of an evening so you have to hunt for it. Most staff are OK but there are some unfriendly ones. Breakfast is hit and miss as well. Plain crossiants have filling in them with a sugar glaze, no good if your a diabetic. Reception staff l think could have given us more info on arrival, we had to sort things out for ourselves. Including how to get the beach ticket. In door pool is nice in the morning but you have to buy a swim hat and tokens for the hot tubs. Sicilly is lovely but we won't be using this hotelif we decide to come back.

The hotel has excellent location, rooms are spacious, food is quite good. However, rooms must be renovated and all staff members must speak at least one foreign languages. The service from partner beach Tropicana lido is from nightmare!

The Hotel is absolutely fantastic, the structure is located at the top of the hill, the view is breathtaking!! If you are not scared of lifts, this Hotel is a MUST visit, rooms are extremely spacious, with balcony where you can enjoy a relaxing evening with a gorgeous view. For lunch and dinner, big buffet with plenty of choice evert day, however due to the high occupancy of this hotel, make sure to use the restaurant early time to avoid loooong queues with people cutting in!! All the staff very friendly, and as they are local, they suggest to you many non touristic places. We visited the Hotel with our 2 kids, and the Hotel is super organised with kids activities all day and with a great baby dance in the evening!!

Great holiday. The views are amazing especially from the pool at the top. The outside terrace for evening drinks is stunning. We were in the annexe not the main building and got upgraded to an amazing sea view. We were very happy with the room which was spotless and cleaned daily. It was dated but in very good condition and had a large balcony. We were all inclusive. The drinks quality was really good e.g. branded cans of soft drinks. Food was good, might be a problem if you don't like pasta. Any longer than a week and variety might have been an issue. We we're happy but this was the area that stopped me giving overall 5*. (Wood fired pizzas in main restaurant would be great and add to variety) Peppe in the restaurant was brilliant, a star. Bus stop at bottom to Taormina easy. We would happily return and recommend.

Good size rooms, spotlessly clean, great views. Hotel also had a section of beach, water crystal clear. Indoor dining, waiter Peppe spoke good English if you needed to know anything. A lift takes you up & down the step climb. Bus stop at the bottom all very convenient.

We had a great stay at Hotel Olimpo. Sadly, we found the pool and restaurant/bar on top of the hotel on the last day of our stay. The info could have been bettee about this. Might come back though for another visit.

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights. I have owned a mobile phone for 25 years, never been hacked.During the 4 night stay the only Wifi we ever logged into was the Hotel Wifi. At 0300 hours on the morning of departure my phone was hacked and over £2 grand taken from my bank account via Pay Pal. Access had been gained in my opinion from the Hotel Wifi.( no other Wifi was on not even 4G) . Never been hacked before Im I,T Literate and an Ex Cop so I know of these things. Whats worse has been the post holiday communication with the hotel. They simply do not accept any responsibility or any negligence on their part..there remarks were....the problem is not due to our Wifi but is to be found elsewhere. You judge for yourselves based on the above. It took me 12 emails sent to all manner of addresses to get that response ! Belting view from the Hotel & Cracking Weather, just a sad end and poor customer service expirence. KInd Regards

Just came back from a lovely 4 night stay at this hotel. The hotel and rooms were very clean and spacious and the views were stunning all around the hotel. There were two outdoor pools which were both well kept and always had plenty of sunbeds, The upper pool was very big and you got some lovely views sunbathing. but the lower pool was a lot quieter so it was nice to switch between the two. The only downside to the lower pool is that the drinks bar was only open 1 out of the 4 days I was there so you do have to use the other bar which could take 10 minutes to get to as it was up the outdoor lift. If I did not go all inclusive I would probably give this hotel a 5 star rating, as the food was quite average and quite repetitive for all meals. A lot of options had seafood which is great if you love it, but not so great when you don't! Also not a lot of food options for children. But the food I did have was nice enough. There were also not many alcoholic drinks that comes in with all inclusive. This is the first all inclusive I have been to that didn't include at least a couple of cocktails and vodka! The terrace where the entertainment was in the evening was lovely to sit down and have a drink on with fantastic background singers. The only downside is that it is the same singers every night so would have been great just to see something extra or different. There was an entertainment board but the majority of things on there didn't happen, maybe because it was June but still the hotel was busy so strange as to why. Overall a great hotel with the most incredible views and fantastic pools. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Just come back from a wonderful week at the olimppo...its a brilliant hotel...Great staff...wonderful food...clean...and the view is amazing...we had a sea view room...which was worth paying the extra for.. it was cleaned daily and was done to a high standard...if one fault its a little dated...but to me it added to its charm...and the gardens could do with some work...but I make allowances for 2 years of covid...on the whole it was a most enjoyable holiday...we hope to return one day...

We are a family of 4, have arrived for a weeks holiday, all inclusive to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday! What a week we have had! We arrived on the Sunday evening, after a hairy bus ride on the smallest, twisted roads you can get a bus through! We arrived just in time for food and bed before starting a fresh in the morning! We spent our first day by the pool, the views up here are AMAZING !!!! The pool is surrounded by mountains and you can see the bluest ocean I have ever seen! There is a pool bar that offer soft drinks, Moretti beer and other drinks, higher quality of drinks you will have to pay for. Our favourite bar man up here was a gentleman called Michelli, so smiley and helpful and very good with children! The only issue with this is the lack of snacks, if you or your children are hungry between meals there is not much readily available. There is a restaurant next to the bar open at lunch time, but this you have to pay for, it isn’t included in the all inclusive! This is also the only bar open through the day, until 1800 when this one closes and the bar near the main restaurant opens. This week there has only been the 2 out of the 3 pools open as well, one outdoor (which of course is what we came for, nice weather by the pool) and an indoor pool. The outdoor pool is a lovely size with plenty of space for swimming, however, when it is busy the deck chairs and space around the pool becomes tight. I believe they have opened another outdoor pool the day before we left though, so there are now 2 outdoor pools available. The food! Some good days with lots of choice, other days not so much, a better choice for adults than for children but luckily for us ours kids aren’t fussy and most days there was something they would eat. Staff are mostly friendly, but Pepe made us smile every time we saw him! Friendly and talkative, staff like this make your stay more enjoyable! The rooms are ok, lots of storage if your an unpacker, be careful not to drink from the mini bar unless your ok with the fee that comes with it, standard stuff really. Our room had a sea view and you can hear the sound of the waves from the balcony. At night the moon shines down across the sea and it’s just beautiful! All channel on the tele are foreign none are English, which could make putting younger kids to bed earlier a bit boring with nothing to watch for the evening. The air con did not work until our last night so I didn’t sleep particularly well during our stay because of the heat which wasn’t good! The cleaning staff were very friendly and changed the towels when they came, there was a lack of toilet roll for a family of 4 which I had to keep asking for and the bedding wasn’t changed whilst whilst we were here at all. Mount Etna excursion is well worth a look, it’s a long day but an amazing experience to see! Over all our stay has been amazing, a few small things but nothing that has put us off at all ! Hence the 4 stars! I would definitely recommend this holiday and think my husband may cry before leaving today !
