This is my favorite hotel in Kirckheim. It is small familly owned for 300 years biilding. There is no AC in rooms, but if you open windows, you really do not need AC. Breakfast is really great buffet type and owners are extremely friendly. They make me feel that I am their "cousin from US" that came for a visit....

I had a wonderful time during my 6 weeks at the hotel. Marion and Frank were wonderful and helpful hosts, helping me get acquainted with the area as I was settling in. The hotel is very traditional on the outside and quite modern, comfortable and warm on the inside. Clean and quiet, I would heartily recommend it for anyone spending...

We had rented an apartment in Kirchheim. Unfortunately (or fortunately)? there was a problem within the apartment and so we were arranged for a stay in the Waldhorn Hotel. The hotel is very graceful as well as the owners and the personnel. The rooms are very comfortable (except for the untameble radiator of the bathroom which was always on and...

Lovely hotel, right in the centre of town, friendly staff who are all helpful and considerate. Asking if you need stuff before you've thought of it in some instance. But as a previous correspondent noted, it backs on to the town church and the bell rings out the time quarterly, and has a call to prayer peel at 6:30am (certainly...

This is a historical building, and keep in a very good condition. The hotel room is warm and comfortable, and also the hotel owner is really friendly. Every room's size is quite different, and the furnishings display also different. I recommend the room 31, 32. There is a market on Monday and Thursday if I am right, you need to...

Great location, very traditional looking building and extremely friendly staff at this family run hotel. Only minor downside is that the town bell rings on the hour throughout the night so may cause problems if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast is continental and a good range is on offer. Rooms are clean with free WiFi. Be aware, that if...

It might be a small hotel in terms of the number of rooms but the staff has large hearts. After the second trip it feels like extended family and we don't talk "Swabian Family". They all speak English, too and most guests are International. Book early, they fill up quickly.

A very warm welcome is recieved on arrival. The twin room I had was a good size, very clean with free WiFi. The bed was a little soft for my liking. A great continental breakfast selection awaits in the morning. Situated on the market square, you are on the doorstep of shops, bars and restaurants. Highly recommended!
