At the end of August we stayed for four nights at the Le Touquet Ibis hotel. When we entered our room, we were greeted by afternoon sunshine coming through the net curtains at the balcony door and window, filling the room with a beautiful light. On opening the balcony door we just saw an endless sandy beach and the sea,...

We've stayed in both Thalassa hotels and there isn't a lot to choose between them, except maybe the Ibis is a little bit cheaper. Checked in on line, so arrival was very smooth. Free parking is always a bonus! Room size is fine for a couple of nights stay. And the balcony looks out onto the panoramic views of the...

Whatever you do, do not stay here unless you book a room with sea view. It is the main asset this hotel has to justify it's rather high prices. We love waking up to this and it is worth every penny. The hotel itself is quite basic as an Ibis would be but staff are friendly and happy to help....

Le Touquet prides itself in being the Parisians playground, or holiday resort and is a great place to be, with its long clean sandy beaches, with lots of facilities for children. The Ibis hotel is linked to the neighbouring (Novotel) with an internal bridge, which spans the swimming pool shared by both hotels. The Ibis is slightly cheaper than the...

Yes I know it's only an IBIS but this is probably my favourite hotel in the world! Amazing location overlooking the vast beach of the Cote D'Opal with the added bonus of the Thalassa swimming pool which is free to use. Staff very friendly amd helpful, meals wonderful (but a bit expensive), rooms comfortable if a little basic. (If you...

The hotel is fantastically situated right on the beach with balcony and sea view. Amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good value and delicious. The restaurant is nice, although not cheap. You get free parking for the duration of the stay which is great. On the negative side, there are no tea-making facilities in the rooms,...

Another good stay at the Ibis Le Touquet Thalassa. We had a very good room with a balcony, the weather was good and the sunset view over the sea was fabulous. In the morning The Thalassa pool was not too busy so I had a relaxed swim and then I enjoyed the breakfast.

Dirty bathroom with disgusting filth all over the radiator. Chipped paintwork, No air con, Room so small you could not pass each other. No tea/ coffee facilities, Balcony crumbling away. Staff could not care less. If you want to spend £130.00 for one night, then be my guest and stay here !!!!!
