We must be the lucky ones. Arrived here after a very difficult day cycling, including km through open fields against howling winds. Our hotel host could not have been more friendly and helpful. A reviving Aperol Spritzer on the terrace, a good size comfortable room , a lift , which made taking heavy bags upstairs a pleasure. The meal in...

Booked there a room for a nights' stay. I was en passant. Paid almost 50 euros for what proved to be an extremely small room with a window on the roof of the building that opened to the wall of the other building. Extremely annoying. There were other guests who stayed on the terrace in front of the building until...

We stayed here for one night as we passed through. We were not welcomed warmly at all in fact we were totally ignored with no eye contact until my partner provided the vouchers for our party of four. One other guest was served before us whilst we waited even though the hotel had a reservation for the four of us....

Reasonably pleasant hotel, comfortable but very compact room. Staff not over friendly, food average. Good location for checking out archeological park. Beware of bus loads of tourists overtaking the hotel. They were noisy at bedtime and noisy again at around 5 am. We were told breakfast wasn't served until 7 am but when we went down at that time the...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a bike tour. The room was small and basic. Staff not particularly welcoming. The rates in the hotel bar are quite high, and the only store in the village closes at noon, so there was no alternative. Breakfast was OK.

We stayed here for a week at the end of March for a conference nearby at the museum. The hotel staff were all super friendly and accommodating for our group, even giving us advance notice of lunch menus and filling my hot water bottle for me so I could make my own tea. Overall it was a very pleasant stay...

The hotel is located outside of Vienna , not far from the airport. its a very quiet hotel , in a very quiet town .. so its useful for passing by purposes only. The in house restaurant was fine ,and breakfast was OK, nothing special. The rooms were dusty , and seems the carpets were not thoroughly cleaned for a...

Hotel Marc Aurel is a small hotel in a village, Petronell Carnuntum, located about 40 km from Vienna. It is a good place to rest and leave for sightseeing of Vienna, whether historical-cultural origin or entertainment places or places where you can shop for quality. The room where we stayed is a large room, clean, quiet opening to the village...

Despite its location on the main road the hotel is quiet enough - Petronell is not a busy place. The room was clean and comfortable, if a little austere. Excellent breakfast followed a pleasant and very reasonably priced evening meal with superb local wine. Only regret was not spotting lovely terrace at the side of the hotel until we were...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a cycling trip from Vienna to Budapest. There are amazing Roman ruins in the area and an excellent museum and interpretive centre. The hotel was very clean and comfortable with helpful staff. Although on the main road it is quiet at night and the beer garden out the front is a great...
