Hotel is right on the beach and in the center of town making it's location perfect. Being so historic, it has charm and class. Shared bathrooms, chipped paint, and steep stairwells (no elevator) are a minus. Location can be noisy; with street side rooms getting sounds of automotive and pedestrian traffic and ocean side getting noise from band and revelers...

Stopped for a cold beverage around noon and, being tired of walking, decided to go ahead and just have lunch here. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich and what arrived was ridiculous. The chicken was battered and deep fried and was a large irregular knot, sitting on a slice of tomato in a huge thick bun. the sandwich was at...

Simply put, this hotel offers the best location on the island. Their porch walks you right down to Crescent Beach (the main beach on BI), yet their front door connects you to the heart of Block Islands intimate, but lively town. Great hospitality. Beautiful property. Amazing value. Many are probably wondering about the shared bathrooms. Don't worry. The accommodations are...

The Hotel Is beautiful located and the view from the terrace is nice. It's like a timemachine, partly shabby, but with Charme. Breakfast was surprisingly not included. Our Room was very small, no Bathroom but a shabby sink. Too expensive

We stayed on the island for an over night ... after biking all over we decided to treat ourselves to split appetizer and try a drink (at everyplace we could). Great spot! The view on the back deck over looking the beach was perfect! The recommended mudslides were fantastic! We tried the Tuna Tartar, delicious ... wish we had more!...

We did not stay here but after getting off of the ferry we decided to stop in here for breakfast. The staff was very kind, not much of a selection for lunch but our hostess was very accommodating in helping us decide on something. Breakfast was a bit skimpy if you're the big breakfast type but was ok. This hotel...

The staff is very helpful and kind. That's the good news. I totally get the Victorian shabby chic aesthetic, but the sheets were cheap, scratchy, and rough to sleep on, and there was a hole in one of the sheets. The bedspreads were visibly dirty, and there was a pile of beach sand in the shared shower. I saw cobwebs...

Best fish and chips ever. However, the Caprese salad was a little skimpy in size and the grilled chicken on salad a bit dry and very little mozzarella just ok def not worth the price. Drinks skimpy also. Not worth the price. Views excellent and service very good. Sit in the back by the bar for the best views and...

We met friends for lunch...great view of the ocean and very good service. I had the fish and chips. The fish was halibut and it was huge. Like an entire filet! I focused on eating the fish...left the chips behind. The coleslaw was very good, I should have asked for double slaw and forget about the chips! My hubby had...
