I have stayed here under most of it's incarnations and, many years since the opening, nothing seems different. The rooms are spacious but décor is stark and shabby. Plug in bathroom sink was stuck but on a quick trip to see elderly parents I had no energy to deal with late night plumbing. I hope Mercure see the value in...

A group of 8 including 3 young teenagers had an overnight stay at this hotel. We took advantage of the spa facilities and pool which was lovely. Staff were very accommodating, approachable and couldn't do enough for us. The general manager Asif was very obliging and insisted a room upgrade for two of us from a twin room to executive...

The room was really nice and clean but it was really hot! I had been told that they were cleaning the air con system. The temperature was showing 27 degrees on the thermostat. We discovered that we were above the kitchen. I was only there for one night and planned to go out so it was fine. The lady who...

We have stayed at this hotel a multiple times and the high quality of service still remains. The staff is amazing (Pati, Megan, Faye, Tony, Jodi). This time we have been upgraded to an executive suite (rooms no 314). The suite has been comfortable and immaculate. Worth paying a bit extra for the comfort. The view is also nice as...

Having stayed at this hotel before, we were coming over for a family birthday and so decided to book again. On arrival, the room we were given had an overpowering smell of smoke, the lady on the reception desk moved us immediately, which was good. The room we were given was lovely, actually seemed newly painted. We noticed that on...

We have been staying here for months and honestly love the place despite it's little niggles that are not worth mentioning. Trust me there are worse hotels in the area. All the staff have been spot on and always helpful. The gym and pool are a real bonus and free WiFi. Rooms have always been clean and never had a...

A friend and I stayed a few times at this hotel earlier this year. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is in a great location for the north. The amenities are really enjoyable to use, such as the sauna, gym, pool and steam room - we both deserved a bit of time out so it was perfect for...
